Sir Bani Yas Island is a protected wildlife sanctuary just off the coast of Abu Dhabi, founded by His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.   • Are the prices always the same even if the date changes?

  • What types of beds will I find in the room I booked?
    The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
  • What is Pay in Structural and Payment Pre-Authorization?
    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
    By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your reservation. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorisation block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
  • How can I cancel or change my booking?
    Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
  • Can I transfer my reservation to another person?

Relaxing holiday
Very nice hotel with extremely helpful staff, everything very well planned and organised. The activities were very good and diverse. The wild life safari was interesting but with limited variety of animals.

Worst Anantara ever !!!
Definitely not the Anantara 5 star experience we were looking forward to. The service quality was pathetic and food at all the restaurants were below standard for the amount charged. Will definitely not ever return to Baniyas island after the pathetic service received. Additionally the hotel is in quite a delapitated condition.

Great destination on a historical building
We loved our time at Desert Island Resort. You have everything you need in the hotel, with a great swimming pool, bar and restaurant and a 3 minutes walk to the beach, the Spa and the Nautical center. The hotel is very charming with many paintings, sculptures and personalized works of art. The breakfast is delicious and both the bar the Al Shams Restaurantes are very good. The possibility of visit the wildlife in the reserve and the historical and archaeological tour were an highlight during our stay. There is also the possibility of asking for a car and they drive you to nay one of the other resorts! We had dinner at the Olio restaurant on the Al Yamm resort and it was amazing. We had a great time. We relaxed, enjoyed the swimming pool and the beach, the spa and the Tours! The kids love it all specially the presence of the animals all around us. I highly recommend a visit to this special island and to this charming hotel.

Absolute perfection!
We're still at Desert Islands Resort and cannot rave about this place enough! Even my usually grumpy teenagers have asked when we're coming back, and that's unheard of!

Wonderful staff and experience
The weather was very nice not too hot or cold. All the staff are super friendly and attentative especially Haru and Tina. The rooms are clean and spacious, we stayed at Anantara Bani Yam. It was perfect family getaway especially for young kidss, we had a great experience!
