Extremely overpriced for a small town. Pretty sure they jacked up the price on weekends. Went for a hockey weekend. Only hotel in town with pool unfortunately. Kids got yelled at all hours of the day. Apparently every hour is quiet time because oil workers have to sleep. While the rooms are clean they are older and there is that old smell. Breakfast was decent. They try to upcharge for everything. Would avoid if able. Management unreasonable and argumentative.

Stay during hockey tournament in trochu
Good stay for a hockey tournament nearby. Stayed for two nights with a family of four. Rooms were clean and in good order, breakfast facilities were good and in abundance, ⁹there were plenty of restaurants and facilities nearby.

Basic hotel but overpriced
Overall, the hotel was fine decently clean breakfast was pretty good however at $200 a night it was definitely overpriced for what it was. I’ve stayed at much nicer hotels for less. Especially not in a tiny town.

Best hotel on there category
Everything on this hotel is exemplary from a very welcoming staff who always attend to your needs and is always greet you with a smile, The owner and family of this hotel is very accommodating and will meet your needs and demands in a timely fashion, they are also very helpful. Owner and family is one of the kindest person that you will ever meet.

False Advert and Old Smelly
The beds were actually double and not true queen sizes. Falsely advertised to lure folks in. And the rooms are old and smell old. I cancelled my stay and only lasted one night due to being stranded. I found it odd that the front desk staff tried to make a case for the false sizes of the beds by saying it’s by hotel type. Not acceptable.
