Perfect hotel
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace in Venice for a week at the end of February to the beginning of March. The hotel is located in the Dorsoduro area on a beautiful canal that connects the Grand Canal with the Guidecca. My husband and I visit Venice quite often and wanted to try a new hotel this time. Now one thing is certain after our stay: We will never want to stay in another hotel in Venice again. From the first step into the reception hall, we were completely captivated by the atmosphere of the imposing Palazzo, which embraced us seamlessly through the entire building. The rooms and suites are located on two floors above the entrance hall. Each floor has a huge hall ballroom sized room, which is furnished with chairs, tables and sofas, and even tops the reception hall on the ground floor (there is another building reached through the garden which also has rooms, though). The wonderful garden where you can also have breakfast, a nice bar and two cozy breakfast rooms complete the offer. The entire palazzo is decorated with impressive Murano glass chandeliers, custom designed for the hotel. The rooms are furnished with antiques and marble bathrooms. One could rave endlessly. We had a junior suite with a beautiful view over the roof tops of Venice and the garden. It was over 60 square meters in size and equipped with a breathtaking marble bathroom and very high, frescoed ceilings. When we entered the suite, my husband and I couldn’t believe we should live here for a week. And yes, we were in for an absolutely perfect stay!
As stunning as the Palazzo and its perfect location in Venice was...there was something that made our stay even better and that was the great staff! Every morning we looked forward to meeting all the friendly smiling people who made our days so pleasant in this magnificent hotel. The service couldn't be better or more professional, but at Nani Mocenigo Palace the warmth of the people makes the big difference. Many thanks to Sofia, Alvise, Michael, Gianluca and all the others. We can't wait to see you all again soon.

Wonderful gem of a hotel
This is an amazing hotel, the location is perfect, a short walk to the main attractions but in a quieter area so it feels peaceful yet there are still lots of restaurants close by. The staff are professional and friendly, and the rooms and common areas are spectacular. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, we were given a free room upgrade to a junior suite and they left a bottle of prosecco in the room on my birthday which was a lovely surprise. The buffet breakfast is lovely, lots of choice with great coffee. We would not hesitate to stay again and can thoroughly recommend this hotel.
If you want to get the public boat transport (vaporetto) to the hotel from the airport, you can get tickets in the airport or on the jetty and take the blu line to Zatterre, it takes about an hour and a half and costs 15 euro, the hotel is a two minute walk from the jetty and is very easy to find.

Superb hotel
Nani Mocenigo is a wonderful hotel. Located on a quiet canal close to everywhere you’d want to go in Venice either on foot, by vaporetto or by water taxi right in front of the hotel. I loved my stay here. With a generous upgrade offered upon arrival, the stylish interior and the lovely personnel i felt like a princesse. Breakfast was very nice offering a large selection of different kinds of food. I’m sure I’ll be back. Thank you all for having made this stay so very special!

Birthday surprise to Venice
A very warm helpful reception why had also answered or question on transport by taxi. Superb hotel our room was exceptionally clean. A few reviews mentioned a poor breakfast I can dispel that .. breakfast was fresh with a good buffet style continental. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location great. 2 mins from the water bus stop. Nothing to fault. WiFi good room facilities excellent

A place to stay in the heart but away from the crowds.
We stayed here the weekend before Christmas for two nights in the the Presidential Suite on the first floor. What a weekend: helpful and welcoming staff, warm and relaxed atmosphere, great breakfast and most of all a clean and well appointed rooms. The suite is a taste of Venice past, plenty of space to entertain friends as we did on the Saturday afternoon for a drinks party. The bed was comfortable meaning we slept well, also helped by the blackout curtains. If you like a bath this is the room for you: there was space enough for a car and storage. Definitely booking again as the position is perfect.
