Superb!
What a fabulous place to stay with a fantastic view, great location, spotlessly clean, comfortable and with friendly and welcoming hosts. We spent a week in this lovely chalet in Grindelwald and had a great time walking and mountain biking in the Jungfrau region, making the most of the excellent train and cableway facilities to get around. The chalet was warm and comfortable, with all we needed as a family of 4 with 2 young kids. The hosts (Ursula and Peter) couldn’t have done more: they welcomed us warmly on our arrival from the UK after a long drive and had kindly provided us with some bread, cheese and wine. The kids were so delighted to be offered ice cream. Throughout our stay and on departure they were friendly and helpful.
We have been to Grindelwald many times and it was really nice to find such a fantastic place to stay. We can’t recommend it enough.

Beautiful time residing in Switzerland
The Chalet Bargarve is an extremely comfortable abode with all amenities you could wish for to make a stay in Switzerland just perfect.
Ursi and Peter are exceptional hosts who were incredibly thoughtful and helpful.
Our only sad point was that we had to leave ... we will be back!
Thank you for allowing us to Experience Switzerland the Bargarve way :)

Lovely ground floor flat in a traditional chalet on the beautiful Terrassenweg with just the most stunning Alpine views.
We can honestly endorse the positive views below.
The only negative is that we had to leave at the end of our stay.
Looking forward to returning to Chalet Bargarve.

Stunning Jungfrau holiday
Urusla and Peter's chalet was absolutely incredible for our family of three. We felt like we were staying in the home of an old family friend. Location was right in front of the Eiger, it was impeccably clean, the kitchen had everything you need, a bus pass, fabulous book of all of the things to do in the Jungfrau, and the location was easily accessible to everything. But what stood out for us was the warmth, kindness and generosity of Peter and Urusla. Thank you so much for sharing your home, your stories, your cherries and bread, and making the end of our vacation unforgettable. We hope to make it back to this very special place.
