We booked our trip from Florida with a travel company that we’ve never used before. One of our accommodations was the Matterhorn Lodge. We were blown away with their service and the clean modern look of our room. They treated us like family which is rare today. Breakfast was amazing. Would highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed!

Very upscale hotel with excellent attention to detail.

Right from the check in we were very impressed by hotel reception and especially Emilia. She has been wonderful throughout our stay. She recommended places to eat and shop. She spoke great english n answered all our questions.

We still have 2 more nights here.

Breakfast is great. Simon is the egg man and does a great job. Coffee is the highlight.

This stay has been one of the most memorable ones yet.

Excellent room and hotel! We stayed here for 1-night before catching the Glacier Express Train. The staff went out of their way to make it a great experience. The lodge is beautiful -- and its all in the details! Adorable slippers & robes in the room, a big bath tub (and bath salts), super comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing and had ton of options -- a huge tea selection (like I've never seen before), fresh fruit/yogurt, meats, eggs, etc. Ruth made sure that we (and our luggage) arrived to the train station on time. We had a great stay and would certainly recommend it!

Nach 30 Jahren in der Schweiz musste ich nun endlich einmal das Matterhorn sehen. Da die Wetterprognose sehr gut war, sind wir recht spontan nach Zermatt gefahren - und wurden mit herrlich-sonnigem Wetter und einem perfekten Hotelaufenthalt belohnt.
Die Matterhorn Lodge ist modern, aber gleichzeitig alpin-charmant eingerichtet, mit vielen kleinen Deko-Details. Die Grösse ist angenehm überschaubar, der Kontakt zu den Mitarbeitenden herzlich-persönlich. Wir hatten die Suite mit Matterhorn-Blick (vom Balkon) im 3. Stock. Die Suite ist sehr geräumig, mit Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer/Kochecke und Esstisch, viel Stauraum bei den Schränken und ein separates WC. Ich hatte erwartet, dass man sich in der Kochecke ein Frühstück zubereiten kann, mehr nicht. Die Küche ist aber absolut perfekt eingerichtet, mit ausreichend Geschirr, Pfannen bis hin zur Kochschürze (habe ich noch nie in einer FeWo gesehen). Deshalb haben wir auch abends dort gemütlich gegessen, denn Bäcker, Metzger sowie Coop/Migros sind ganz in der Nähe. Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, aber gleichzeitig zentral.
Wir haben uns vor Ort noch die anderen Hotels unserer Auswahl angeschaut und waren sehr froh, dass wir auf Anhieb die perfekte Wahl getroffen haben. Wenn Zermatt, dann wieder Matterhorn Lodge.

Wir hatten eine Panorama Apartment Suite mit wunderbarer Sicht aufs Matterhorn. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und geräumig mit einer komplett ausgestatteten Küche.
Das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Hotel hat ein nachhaltiges Konzept, auch was Foodwaste betrifft. Hier findet man kein üppiges Frühstücksbuffet, es wird nur wenig aufgetischt. Fehlt etwas, kann dies dem Personal melden, dann wird es wieder aufgefüllt. Das ist in ersten Moment etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, es muss aber definitiv weniger weggeworfen werden, was super ist. Wir kommen wieder.

El mejor hotel en Zermatt. Bonito, tranquilo, limpio, muy cómodo y perfecto para descansar. Queda a unos 8 minutos caminando de la estación de trenes de Zermatt, así que su ubicación es ideal. Es un hotel de estilo familiar, por lo que no hay personal a cada rato y en todo horario, y eso permite que uno se sienta como si se hospedara con amigos. El desayuno era muy rico, con productos locales frescos y de excelente calidad. Mi habitación era muy amplia, agradable y siempre estaba limpia. Quiero destacar la amabilidad y buena disposición del personal, especialmente de Michal que siempre fue amable, simpática, incluso se esforzaba hablando en español (y lo hacía muy bien!), me ayudó con muy buenas ideas y recomendaciones de lugares donde comer y cosas que hacer. ¡Gracias a ella pude volar en helicóptero! y fue una experiencia tremenda. En resumen, un gran hotel, en mi opinión el mejor en Zermatt, y espero poder pronto volver a hospedarme ahí. Lo recomiendo sin duda alguna.

Hôtel bien situé un peu en retrait du chemin principal mais très calme, les lieux sont propre, personnels très accueillants et toujours souriants, un SPA agréable et je recommande les oeufs brouillés au petit déjeuner qui sont vraiment incroyable !

Superbe séjour dans un hôtel magnifiquement décoré!
Hôtel au calme, idéalement situé. Soucieux de l'aspect écologique (minimum de gaspillage pour le petit-déjeuner, par exemple).
Personnel au petit soins avec les clients, établissement à recommander.

La struttura in legno e pietra è calda e accogliente anche senza la neve. La camera ha un letto matrimoniale comodissimo e il bagno è nuovo e moderno. Si fa fatica a lasciare la stanza vista Cervino per andare a passeggiare... d’altra parte è un peccato non uscire e godersi le montagne che fanno da cornice a questo paradiso - Zermatt - in cui le auto non possono arrivare. Molto grazioso il piccolo giardino
antistante il lodge che è un tripudio di fiori.

In hotel non c’è il ristorante ma non è un problema trovare un posto in cui cenare

Estuvimos una semana alojados en este maravilloso hotel, nos sentimos como en casa, están todos los detalles estudiados al máximo, el desayuno muy completo y de muy buena calidad, mi marido es celiaco y le tenían todo preparado ‘gluten free’ para que no tuviera ningún problema.
El spa muy bien y también estudiado hasta el más mínimo detalle.
El personal muy agradable, tanto Ruth como el resto del equipo.
Hotel muy bien situado ya que esta muy céntrico.
Seguro que volveremos.

L'hotel è curato nei minimi dettagli, il design è presente ovunque. La camera è spaziosa ed arredata con gusto. Il bagno moderno con una doccia bellissima. Il personale alla reception è molto disponibile e gentile. Se dovessimo tornare a Zermat alloggeremmo sicuramente in questo hotel.
