The winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes shine with light, sunshine and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can hike along the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer an overview can enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl. Families can enjoy the Engadin sunshine on a carriage ride into Val Roseg or Val Fex, or sledge down into the valley on the 4.2 km long, winding Muottas Muragl toboggan run.

Location description: La Punt Chamues-ch - The proud village at the foot of the Albula Pass Old patrician houses at the foot of the Albula Pass characterise the townscape of La Punt. The former farming village of Chamues-ch, on the other hand, lies sheltered at the entrance to the mysterious Chamois Valley, the Val Chamuera. Even today, people here are proud of the richly decorated farmhouses and stately patrician homes from the 16th and 17th centuries. And, of course, the top-class gastronomy in the over 450-year-old Hotel Gasthaus Krone. The surrounding area is perfect for a variety of tours on a mountain bike, racing bike, inline skates or on foot. Families can enjoy cosy playgrounds and fire pits by the water.
