Welcome to the idyllic village of Brienzwiler!
We are delighted to present you our newly renovated loft flat. It offers you everything you need for a relaxing stay. Whether you want to explore the surrounding area or simply relax, here you will find the ideal starting point. Feel at home and let us know if you have any questions or requests! We wish you an unforgettable stay!

The 3 ½-room flat has two sleeping areas spread over two floors, an area with kitchen, dining and living room and a bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen has a hot-air/microwave oven, a 4-burner induction hob, a large fridge and a dishwasher. Pans, pots, kettle, sufficient crockery and a Nespresso coffee machine including coffee capsules are available, as well as spices, oil, pasta and the essentials for cooking. A raclette oven and cheese fondue caquelon are also available for use. The flat has storage rooms and a cellar where bicycles, skis, sledges etc. can be stored. There is also a reserved free car park 3 minutes from the house. The house also has a cosy garden seating area.
The historic former farmhouse, built in 1768, was completely renovated in 2024. From the outside, the house still corresponds to the typical Bernese Oberland style, but inside the bathroom, kitchen, walls, floors, heating etc. are state of the art.

Excursion possibilities: The Bernese Oberland is right on your doorstep: idyllic Brienz on Lake Brienz with the Brienzer-Rothorn railway can be reached in 5 minutes by car. The Axalp for skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, hiking, walking etc. can be reached in 20 minutes by car. The popular Brünig-Hasliberg skiing and hiking area is just around the corner, so to speak. Meiringen, with its adventurous Aare Gorge, is about 10 minutes away by car. Wilderswil, the starting point for the Bernese Oberland mountain world with Schynige Platte, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, Adelboden etc. and the entire Jungfrau region is 25 minutes away by car.
All the sights are also easily accessible from Brienzwiler by post bus.

The Ballenberg Open-Air Museum is located in Brienzwiler, a 5-minute walk from the house. Countless hiking trails for all levels of difficulty are also right at your feet. The Way of St James runs right through the village.
The guest card entitles you to discounts on many cable cars and museums.

Other bedroom furnishings (bedroom 1): Wardrobe, chair for clothes

Sports options in the area: mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking, cycling tours, tobogganing, rowing, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, surfing, water skiing, sailing

Village description: The village of Brienzwiler lies on a sunny terrace on the south side of the Brünig Pass. The average altitude of the village is 700 metres above sea level and you can enjoy a walk through the small, idyllic village with its well-preserved wooden houses, some of which are historic. Let your gaze wander from the Wilerhorn towards the Brünig, the Haslital, up to the Brienzer Rothorn, the Ballenberg open-air museum and the village church.
In Anna's village shop, 200 metres from the house, you will find everything you need for daily use, including cheese for raclette or fondue, as well as a post office counter and a cosy coffee corner.
