Best hospitality I had in the highlands!
This has to be the find of the year. A clean, comfortable private lodge with remarkable hosts. The lodge is really clean, even a good CSI wouldn't find a crumb of dust in what is a great base location for exploring the Highlands - right in the centre. A word about the hosts that live next door. I was walking from coast to coast, mainly camping and by the time I'd arrived at South Laggan it was time to resupply. The hosts insisted on driving me to Fort Augustus for supplies - nothing was too much trouble, and as they knew I was arriving late - they had made me a yummy dinner as well.
