Farmhouse Farm La Loggia

My spouse and I stayed at Fattoria la Loggia on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The views are spectacular, the rooms are rustic and charming while having all the modern amenities, and the hosts go above and beyond with their hospitality. Every morning, we took a breakfast picnic of fresh squeezed juice and homemade croissants out to the lawn overlooking a Tuscan valley. We took a cooking class with Ivana and Paolo and had a wine tasting with Tara on the property -- both were memorable experiences that we highly recommend. Ivana and Tara gave excellent recommendations for dinner and sightseeing in the area. We were treated like family, and it was the highlight of our honeymoon. We can't wait to plan another trip to Fattoria la Loggia. This is a truly special place with wonderful people!

Splendido agriturismo in posizione panoramica sulle colline del Chianti. Pulizia impeccabile, camere spaziose e ben curate. Colazione servita con modalità picnic da consumare sia in camera sia nel parco. Prezzo non economico ma adeguato per la qualità offerta.

Die Fattoria la Loggia ist ein wunderschöner Ort inmitten des Chianti. Ivana und Paolo sind herzliche Gastgeber, die jede Frage gerne beantworten und mit guten Tipps zur Seite stehen. Die süßen Köstlichkeiten des Frühstücksbuffets werden täglich von Ivana frisch gebacken. Paolo bekocht Gesellschaften auf Anfrage. Seine selbstgemachte Pizza schmeckt fantastisch.
Das Aggritourismo ist ein Ort des Entdeckens. Die wunderschöne Gartenanlage mit Olivenbäumen, einer Rundumsicht in die Weingüter und einem fantastischen Pool bietet einen Platz der Erholung. Gleichzeitig fordern die unterschiedlichen Kunstobjekte, welche über das Gelände verteilt sind, einen auf, jede Ecke zu erkunden. Die Städte Florenz, Siena, Pisa und Volterra sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen.
Wir haben uns nur schwer von Ivana und Paolo trennen können und werde wieder kommen- ganz bestimmt!

Our family booked the entire Fattoria for our reunion (29 adults plus 5 kids). Leading up to the event, the staff was very quick and conscientious and thorough in answering all our questions; seemingly nothing was left to chance.

It was our first time in Tuscany, and our mouths were agape as we drove up to the property. It is exactly as we imagined Tuscany would be, surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, and hilltop estates. Very centrally located for all the activities and tours one would want to do in the heart of Tuscany, but one can also just take it easy and roam the area on foot.

The individual units are set up as apartments with living-dining room / kitchen area and separate bedroom(s). Some are on the ground floor, others require negotiating some steps. Wifi reaches throughout the property. There is no air-conditioning but each bedroom has a ceiling fan. The pool is not only refreshing but also stunning. There are multiple areas in to congregate together or to relax alone, some completely outside, others shaded or protected.

Each morning the smell of freshly-baking bread greets you as you wake. Our dinners were prepared on site and were always delicious and varied and filling; we asked for and were granted a special theme for each night. Their Chianti bottled on premises is delicious.

What totally made our experience so memorable and special was the attention lavished on us by Ivana and her staff. They were always helpful and could and would provide for our every need at a moment’s notice. Any request or change of plan was accommodated cheerfully and quickly.

After not being able to see each other for so long, we were all looking forward to this trip SO much. Thank you to Fattoria for making our reunion one to cherish and remember!

We stayed a single night,but we're here over three days for a wedding

We picked this spot to meet up with our family who were visiting Italy from Australia. It looked peaceful and beautiful. On arrival it was as expected, amazing views and a gorgeous pool, spacious and comfortable rooms and very friendly staff.

On arrival a wedding ceremony was taking place on the lawn next to the pool so although we had been told we could enjoy all the facilities we felt it would be highly inappropriate to splash around in the pool during the couples special time so we waited in our room for a couple of hours. After that we had some lovely pool time and enjoyed the gorgeous Tuscan sunshine, albeit with wedding guests milling around everywhere.

On our third and final full day we were told that a further wedding brunch for 80 people was now going to be for 180 people. The wedding brunch took over the entire property including inflatables in the pool, lawn games and a dj right next to the pool. We felt forced out of the property. It was impossible for us to stay and enjoy the facilities. We were initially told of course we could stay but then advised "we understand you may feel uncomfortable" We did so we left for the day.

The owners kindly gave us some pizza on our return and a free night in compensation but we are unlikely to be able to return in the timeframe allowed.

We left a review on the site we booked through and were surprised to see a comment that we could have stayed and taken advantage of the buffet. We don't have any recollection of that being offered to us at the time.

Lovely location but worth checking if there are any weddings going on when you book.

Wir haben uns total in die Fattoria La Loggia verliebt. Die nette Dame (Ivana) welche sich hier um alles kümmert ist nur das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Das Gut liegt wunderschön im Chianti, eingebettet zwischen Weinbergen und den sanften Hügeln der Toskana. Wenn man ein bisschen Zeit für sich haben möchte, ist man hier genau an der richtigen Stelle. Die Zimmer und Apartments sind rustikal und typisch toskanisch eingerichtet. Alle mit einer kleinen Küche und eigenem Bad. Der Pool und der große Garten laden zum Entspannen ein und jeder findet hier sein Lieblingsplätzchen. Zwar gibt es auf dem Gut kein eigenes Restaurant, jedoch viele schnell zu erreichende in der Nähe. Absolut unsere Empfehlung in dieser Region!

Traumhafte Landschaft: Pinien, Zypressen, Olivenbäume, Weinberge...
Das Jahrhunderte alte Anwesen wurde bereits vor Jahren original restauriert,
sehr schöne Appartments, bestens ausgestattet, mit Kunstwerken bestückt. Auf dem
Anwesen sind Skulpturen von bekannten Künstlern wie Karel Appel, Arman, Franz
Stahler, Daniel Spoerri u.a. zu bewundern. Die perfekte Mischung von Landschaft und moderne Kunst. Sehr schönes Schwimmbad, leider ab Oktober geschlossen.
Die Gastgeber, Ivana und Paolo, sorgen dafür,dass man sich ausgesprochen wohl fühlt. Die Fattoria bietet ihren eigenen Wein und Olivenöl an (habe mich für fast ein Jahr damit eingedeckt...). Nächstes Jahr fahre ich bestimmt wieder hin.

Ich kann die ganzen positiven Bewertungen nur unterstützen. Hier stimmt einfach alles: die ruhige Lage, der toll angelegte, wohl temperierte Pool, das stilvoll eingerichtete Haus und die Gastgeber, die äußert herzlich und hilfsbereit sind.

Valió la pena pasar unas noches en este magnífico alojamiento. El trato fue muy agradable, lástima no haber podido pasar más tiempo. Localización espléndida. No tiene precio desayunar entre viñedos. Te olvidas del estres del día.
