Villa Finca Costa Blanca Apartment 1 / Holiday flat 1; Monte Pego near Denia The Villa/Finca Costa Blanca (House Refugio) is situated in an exposed location right in the heart of the upmarket urbanisation Monte Pego and exactly between Valencia and Alicante, opposite the Mediterranean island of Ibiza. Both airports, Alicante and Valencia, are 95 km away. There are several flights a day to both cities, making it an excellent option for arriving and departing without being affected by air traffic. The urbanisation Monte Pego belongs to the province of Valencia and is only a few minutes away from Denia, the capital of the Marina Alta region. Monte Pego is a cosmopolitan, Mediterranean residential area that was founded in the 1970s and has a well-developed infrastructure. Due to its spaciousness, Monte Pego belongs to the districts of Pego and Rafol d'Almunia. The villa/finca is located in the third district of Denia. This area in particular boasts marvellous panoramic views of the sea as far as Valencia, the mountains and the Marjal Pego-Oliva Natural Park. Monte Pego is privileged by its unique microclimate and the development of chalets in both Mediterranean and modern styles, giving the urbanisation a harmonious personality with sustained growth over the last 35 years. Two restaurants are located directly in the well-kept urbanisation, which is considered one of the most beautiful and exclusive residential areas on the "weißen Küste". The security of the urbanisation is taken care of by "SCM". This is a unique information, control and maintenance service on the Costa Blanca, which also offers telephone assistance and support in the event of accidents. In addition, the SCM has taken over the surveillance of the urbanisation and is present with its service staff, especially at night. Of course, sporting activities are also provided for. Whether table tennis, tennis, boules, cycling or hiking. You can experience all of this directly in the urbanisation and in the evening you can enjoy cultural entertainment in the amphitheatre. Just a few minutes away you will find all kinds of opportunities for horse riding, fitness, golf, surfing, kitesurfing, sailing, diving, deep-sea fishing, karting, bowling, fishing or wakeboarding.

Our approx. 9 x 4 metre saltwater pool* regulates the pH value via an autonomous system that is regularly maintained. The biologically treated saltwater relaxes and revitalises the body, so in addition to physical exercise, it has another health aspect included * Anyone who believes that a saltwater pool is just as salty as the sea is wrong, because this is not the case: seawater = 10 x more salt content, i.e. the pool water is only .i.e. the pool water is only "leicht" salty Advantages of a saltwater pool: - salt water means that chlorine no longer needs to be added - pleasant bathing sensation - no reddening of the eyes (especially in children) - no eczema - no unpleasant odours due to excess chlorine - assured hygiene

The flat is accessible from the main floor (main entrance) via approx. ten steps from the outside. It is approx. 35m² in size and has a bathroom with shower and WC. In the combined living room and bedroom there is a double bed (180cm x 208cm), a TV and a small kitchenette with coffee machine, sink and mini-fridge. The view from the three floor-to-ceiling windows extends across the hotel's own rose garden with reading pavilion to the sea. A wardrobe, mirror, chest of drawers and much more are a matter of course.

A long awaited dream - BECOMES TRUE! A holiday home in a holiday region where it is almost always warm and sunny, where - when you get older - you will find a home that is easy to reach by plane (but not impossible by car either) and where you will find the sea and mountains. I've always fancied Mallorca, the island I fell in love with years ago, not least because of the great food. It would be hard to dissuade me from this choice of location if the time ever came. Years later, I was proved wrong. After 3 years of consecutive holidays on the Costa Blanca, I have been able to get to know the beautiful landscape, the nice people, the beautiful towns, the cliffs, the orange trees, the well-kept restaurants, the unbeatably healthy climate, the mountains and many properties. The initial property viewings were characterised by interest. However, this changed from year to year! In spring 2014, the time had finally come. When I viewed the "Villa Finca Costa Blanca El Refugio" in Monte Pego, I quickly realised - if at all possible, this and no other should be the house of my dreams: a finished villa/finca, built in 1994 by a German architect, used as a holiday home exclusively by him and his wife with fantastic sea views and the surrounding mountains. Thought out and realised down to the last detail with a lot of love, charm, high-quality construction and interior design. So expect a little more! Wooden beams, white walls & handmade terracotta tiles characterise the typical Spanish style of this finca. Solid real wood doors, well-kept bathrooms, high-quality furnishings and the beautiful landscape leave nothing to be desired. Important for me, I would also like to rent to holiday guests, friends and acquaintances. Not least because I have rented holiday homes and fincas myself for many years, I know what is important to me as a guest when I rent a holiday property. It should be of high quality, "luxurious" but still not insanely expensive. As a guest, I want to find it well-maintained and clean. Bed linen, towels and internet access should be a matter of course these days. So enjoy the dream location on Monte Pego, in a very exclusive and well-kept residential area - look from the terraces and the flowering garden into the wide valley with countless orange groves & rice plantations, to the left of it unique mountain ranges, which shine in different colours in the sunlight and will also enchant you... - let your gaze wander over the sea as far as the Bay of Valencia. Refresh yourself in the pool or jacuzzi, sunbathe on one of the terraces or simply relax in the shade. There is no shortage of activities either: golf enthusiasts can choose from numerous golf courses in the surrounding area. Tennis fans will enjoy the 5 tennis courts that are part of the residential area and can be reserved for guests. The little kids as well as the "young at heart" will enjoy the nearby water & adventure parks or numerous water activities such as jet skiing, surfing on the beach or would you prefer a boat trip to Ibiza in just 2 hours, Mallorca or Formentera? Barbecue evenings in the outdoor BBQ area, in the cooler season a cosy open fire in the house or the adjoining tea house with antique wood-burning stove round off the day's holiday.
