Vacation in architectural monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the ‘Vacation in architectural monument’ foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005.
Public transport: By post bus to Savognin Cresta. Then walk along the main road in that direction. After entering Savognin, turn right at the crossroads after Hotel Danilo onto Veia Sandeilas. After 210m turn onto Veia Ruignas. After 270m turn onto Veia Grava. After the historic bridge, turn left into Veia Grava, which then becomes Veia Curvanera. The destination is on the left after 120m (corner house).

Parking: In the car park
Number of persons 6 -8: The house offers space for six to eight guests in three bedrooms (one room with a double bed, two rooms with two single beds each) and two additional beds on the gallery. The skylights above the sleeping areas on the gallery cannot be dimmed. The floors are made of wood and stone, which is why we recommend good slippers. Despite the insulation, it can get colder in winter, which is why we recommend warm clothing.

Short holidays: Possible in the low season (minimum three nights) and at Easter, Ascension and Whitsun
Outdoor space: Sheltered and furnished outdoor space between the houses.
Heating: Central heating with underfloor heating and radiators (wood pellets). All rooms are easy to heat.

Kitchen: Induction hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, mocha pot and fondue set are available. A raclette set is not available
Extras: The staircase from the 2nd to the 3rd floor is very steep, but has a handrail. Use at your own risk. Winter sports equipment must be stored in the storage room on the ground floor. Rear entrance: The kitchen may not be entered with ski boots / snowboard boots. The floors are made of wood and stone, which is why we recommend good slippers. Despite insulation, it can get colder in winter, which is why we recommend warm clothing.
Important addition:
The Tgesa Caminada is a historic house, a listed building. Although it is technically equipped to modern standards, we would like to point out that certain functional details such as window and door openers, stair handrails and step heights do not comply with current standards and could be a potential source of danger. The staircase from the 2nd to the 3rd floor is very steep, but has a handrail. Use at your own risk. The tenant is aware of these circumstances.
