#3 of 31 things to do in Javea

Nice day out
We drove through the town and then parked on the seafront in a large car park. Not tarmacced, and no charge.
A stroll along the seafront led us to the old port from where the view back along the beach towards Moraira was typically Mediterranean.
The numerous cafes and restaurants were busy and we stopped for a quick coffee. Surprised at the price – 3.60 Euros for 2 coffees.
Ideal for a day out.

An Unforgettable Coastal Experience at Arenal Promenade!
Visiting the Arenal Promenade in Jávea is an experience that encapsulates the soul of Spain. This beachside promenade is more than just a scenic walkway; it's a vibrant hub of activity, offering a slice of Spanish life that's hard to resist.
The beach itself is impeccably clean, with soft golden sand and clear, inviting waters. It's a paradise for both sunbathers and water sports enthusiasts. The promenade is beautifully maintained, adorned with palm trees and lined with a variety of shops and restaurants. These eateries offer an impressive selection of local and international cuisines, each with outdoor seating that provides stunning views of the Mediterranean.
What sets Arenal Promenade apart, though, is the atmosphere. There's a palpable energy in the air, whether it's the laughter of families enjoying a day at the beach, or the soft melodies of live music from local performers in the evenings. And speaking of evenings, do not miss the breathtaking sunset, as the sky over the Mediterranean transforms into a palette of colors.
In summary, Arenal Promenade in Jávea offers a mix of natural beauty, lively culture, and delicious food, making it a must-visit location for any traveler. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and spend a day—or several—here. You won't regret it!

Lovely - people watching stroll by the beach
It is always lovely in the evenings when the sun doesn’t make it so uncomfortable. It’s clean and safe. The only thing that would make it perfect is more variety! Every market stall seems identical in a run of 3 so: plastic or unmarked metal jewellery, leather belts and purses or the same batik style tops and skirts. More artisan stalls of deferent styles would be lovely! Same with the shops - all either mediocre bars or touristy hats and sunglasses places. We do like it very much but always leave slightly disappointed with purses still full as there is nothing we want to buy.
