The ancient Borgo Savignola, dating back to 1700, located in the homonymous winery, stands on a small hill in the heart of the Chianti Classico. Surrounded by the company's vineyards, it consists of four real estate units for a total of twenty three beds. Each unit has its own kitchen and the whole offers the private use of two swimming pools. The main house Lamore di Carla and its annex house a total of eleven people and are connected to each other via large terraces, a large garden and the swimming pool (16x6 - depth from 120 to 200 cm). A few steps away are the guest house (sleeps 6) and Casa 360 (sleeps 6) which has a second swimming pool for exclusive use (8x4 - depth 140 cm). The company offers tastings of its own wines in combination with specialties of Tuscan cuisine. Agriturismo on a vinyard "Savignola Paolina", built in 1700. 3 km from the centre of Greve in Chianti, 35 km from the centre of Firenze, 46 km from the centre of Siena, in an elevated position on top of a hill, in the countryside. Amazing retreat for family vacation
We had an amazing stay at Savignola. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids (aged 9 and 6) and rented the main house with the annex. Beautiful and authentic housing, great facilities, a very nice and large pool for both grown-ups and children (who learned to swim), quiet and cool houses.
The property has several outside sitting areas to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and an actually good coal grill where you can burn some meat if you against all odds decide not to spend your time at restaurants in the evening.
The houses are situated on the same property as the Savignola winery where we had some excellent Chianti classico and equally good food.
Owners Manuela and Luzius, Alice and the rest of the team were extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for making this a stay to remember.
