Like small islands in a sea of grain, lovingly renovated farm cottages and homesteads pop up next to old windmills. It is not unusual to find a farm shop or café behind the next bend on a cycle tour, where you can buy local produce and handmade souvenirs.

dieSeeSucht® is located in Westerholz, a district of the state-recognised climatic health resort of Langballig and in the middle of all these and many other beautiful spots that are well worth exploring.

Location description: On the balcony above the Flensburg Fjord, in the recognised health resort of Westerholz, the clocks tick differently. Experience an enchanting landscape and the warm hospitality of the people up here in the north. The village of Westerholz belongs to the municipality of Langballig and is situated on a hill above the fjord, framed by the Baltic Sea, a steep coast, the fields of the hinterland and the lovely "Langballigau valley", Gastronomy from the hot dog stand to freshly caught fish from the cutter to the a-la-carte restaurant, marina, guarded beaches, boat and bicycle hire, free parking at the harbour and beach, promenade, excursion boat trips, shopping facilities and bakery (within the season), nudist and dog beach, slipway and much more.
Other sports and leisure facilities: Nestled in the hilly landscape of Angeln, between forests and the steep coast, our small lodge is located in a quiet holiday home area not far from the Baltic Sea fjord. Hiking trails in the directly neighbouring nature reserve "Valley of Langballigau" and a breathtaking view over the natural beach of Langballigau to Denmark are inviting. Are you longing for salt in the air, the smell of the sea on the beach, do you love playing with the elements while surfing, kitesurfing and sailing or do you like diving into the tranquil green of the Baltic Sea...? Our lodge on the fjord will be a temporary home for you and your family, the place where you will discover all this and much more.

Description: dieSeeSucht® is an approx. 45sqm log holiday home and offers a living room with satellite TV, radio, DVD and sofa corner; from here you have direct access to the "sun deck" - the partially covered south-facing terrace. There is also a small shower room. The open-plan kitchen-living room with "Klöntür" offers access to the "Achterdeck" - the breakfast terrace; the fitted kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your holiday. There is also a bedroom with two beds (Danish dimensions approx. 70cm wide) and a bunk bed (Danish dimensions approx. 70cm wide). The car parking space is directly adjacent to the large garden area.
