So glad to see the Pier house open again after what must have been a troublesome time... Really like the decor and general feel. Much more classy.

Dogs sitting on new blue & white seats.
So pleased it’s open. The decor is amazing.
Concerned seeing dogs sitting on the lovely new blue & white seating. Not only soiling them but also a hygiene issue. Maybe make a dog area at the benches at the bottom.

An underwhelming re-opening
Refurbished pier house looks nice but that’s where the positives end unfortunately. Sunny day and not serving food outside, extremely slow and disinterested service and long queue for drinks, food portions very small and astronomically priced. Very disappointing for loyal local customers and visitors alike. .

Disappointed and chaotic
Requested a quiet table but put outside kitchen and toilets. At 7pm sold out of three mains from an already limited menu. Appreciate it was their opening night. Hopefully it will get better.

Welcome back!
We love the refurbishment; the four of us sat in a cosy booth for dinner which felt spacious and plush and the food was delicious! This was the second visit in a week as we are so delighted to have The Pier House open again! We had the crab sharing starter to begin with and it was the best starter I have had anywhere in a long time!
