Comfortable, well-equipped round-log cabin located by Lake Kokonjärvi in Urjala, approx. 70 km south of Tampere. The center of Urjala is about 10 km away. The cabin has its own pier and rowing boat. At the shore near the pier, the lake bottom is sandy, further out, it becomes muddy. The lake is shallow.
The 120 m² cabin was built in 2006. The ground floor features a living room/kitchen, and two bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. On the upper floor, there's a third bedroom with two single beds, and the hall has a convertible sofa bed. A child safety gate is installed at the top of the stairs. The cabin includes a washroom, a wood-heated sauna, and a separate WC.
Upon arrival, the owner charges a security deposit of 150 EUR in cash according to the booking terms, refundable upon departure, provided everything is in order. You can take a boat trip to a nearby island (500 m away) with campfire facilities.
Neighboring cabin Niiniranta (17277) is about 30 m away, with two other cabins, Niinipuro (17278) and Niinimökki (17294), within approximately 200 m. This makes it convenient to accommodate larger groups in the same area.
The Niini cabins share a children's slide and swings. Please mention in your booking if you need a travel cot for a baby (two travel cots are available among the four cabins).
SUP boards and an outboard motor for the boat are available for rent from the owner by advance reservation.
Outboard motor prices in 2025: 50 EUR /day, 100 EUR/weekend (Fri-Sun), 200 EUR/week. Price includes 5 liters of gasoline, payable directly to the owner.
