The village has won several prices in local beautiful country villages contests and is home to approximately 2000 people. Some restaurants, bakeries, shops and a well assorted supermarket offers good local support. The area is great for cycling, hiking, running, walking, climbing and a lot of other outdoor activities. The large Teutoburger Forest surrounds the flat Münsterland and is a great contrast to the park like Münsterland with more than 100 castles. The house is ready and very comfortable for 6 persons. A lawn and a terrasse are also already completed by Mai 2011, additional plants are put out but still small in the first season.
