  • What types of beds will I find in the room I booked?
    The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
  • What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
    By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
  • How can I cancel or change my booking?
    Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
  • Can I transfer my reservation to another person?
    For this request, contact the property directly which may have a specific policy in this regard or may need further data on the person to whom you want to transfer the booking.
  • How can I get help with my booking?
    Enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can contact us or by writing through our contact form specifying your booking number and the reason for the contact request. We recommend that you also leave a telephone number where you can be reached in case of need.
  • Are there taxes, local charges or extras to be paid directly on site?
    They are normally clearly indicated in the property sheet or added during the booking phase depending on local regulations or the facility's policies. But even if not clearly indicated, payments may be requested directly to the facility for any tourist taxes, local charges or extras not included in the rate. A model for all luxury beach resorts
We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Anantara Layan.

We had a brilliant experience during our stay last year, but the Anantara Layan team somehow managed to surpass our already high expectations.

We've had the fortune to stay at various luxury hotel chains, but none have surpassed the service at Anantara Layan.

From Pim at the reception, to Nooki, Prince, and Open at the beach bar, to the Breeze, Dara, and breakfast service team, or the housekeeping team, or the Anantara Spa staff - all the service staff were exceptional for their warmth, attentiveness, and desire to make your stay a special one.

Special thanks to Pooh for giving us a tour of the massive resort while giving us a buggy ride back from Dara.

Our Sala villa was lovely as usual. The food was delectable at every restaurant, and it still probably offers the best breakfast we've had at any resort or hotel.

The key change from our last stay is the new Thai fine dining restaurant Dara, set in a beautiful observatory next to the lake. The food was absolutely delicious and service was top class.

We would love to stay at Anantara Layan again.

My experience in Anantara
Suitable for all families, and also the size of the villas is very appropriate, and also the facilities in the bathroom were wonderful and not found in any other hotel. All the employees are wonderful and smiling and try to give you their best. My experience in the Thai restaurant was one of the best, in addition to the quality of the food in it. All restaurants were of high quality.

Tremendous vacation spot for relaxing and fun and good eating !
Great experience at the Anantara Layan Phuket! I had just run the Laguna Phuket Half Marathon on June 9 when we moved hotel to the Anantara for 2 nights. Kae at reception was very professional and made us so welcome. They upgraded us to a Beach Access Villa with private pool, it was wonderful. Stefanos, one of the managers, made our trip special with his professional demeanor and fun attitude. The Age Restaurant is my favorite restaurant in all of Thailand....the fresh oysters , foie gras and aged beef were soooo good! Hats off to Chacha, Bee and Big for great service. Special thanks to Harris at Appia and Grace at Rooftop Bar! Wonderful trip and experience! Our spa experience was terrific, great job Noi and team! We even played some tennis after my marathon!

Un tres grand merci a Orm qui a rendu notre sejour extraordinaire, elle a su répondre a toutes nos attentions avec un maximum d’attention. Un surclassement nous a été offert car la chambre que nous avions réservé ne convenait pas a nos besoins.
Merci aussi a View la meilleure des masseuses apres avoir fait des massages tous les jours, c’est elle que j’ai préféré.

Un établissement pas au niveau d'exigence requis pour un hôtel de luxe.
Un cadre superbe mais des prestations qui ne le sont pas.
Un manque de formation évident du personnel.
Un bar Roof Top à l'accueil et aux prestations lamentables et des horaires d'ouverture limités.Musique lancinante et insipide. Service inefficient et lamentable.
Un service et une qualité du petit déjeuner perfectible.
Cadre superbe au bord de la plage mais très loin de la ville.
Un personnel dans l'ensemble très sympathique.

ein 5 Sterne Hotel das auch die Sterne verdient
aus der Anantara Gruppe eines der besten Hotels! sehr zu empfehlen! top service, super nettes Personal, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend ... alles was man an Thailand sehr zu schätzen weiss!

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist exzellent, alles vorhanden was das Herz begehrt!
Die Bar ist auch sehr gut bestückt, Pool ist sehr sauber und der Strand ist wunderbar. Eventuell könnten die Sonnenliegen etwas mehr Abstand vertragen ...

Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Bad war auch sehr sauber und großzügig!

Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen

UN RESORT CON ENCANTO E INCREIBLE SERVICIO.
El hotel es precioso, sus villas muy cómodas con todos los servicios de primer nivel. La vegetación del lugar es increible, todos los días cambian los jarrones con flores hermosas. Pero sobre todo la amabilidad y el servicio son espectaculares. Agradezco la atención de Amie la recamarista que estuvo muy atenta a nuestras necesidades. Su mayor plus es sin lugar a dudas su Spa, fue WAEW una persona muy importante que hizo que nuestros masajes y experiencia en el spa fueran inolvidables, agendándonos las citas y brindándonos todo lo necesario, recomendándonos aceites y tratamientos que disfrutamos mucho.

Tres bel établissement
Chambre magnifique et tres propre ...sejour parfait.
Les restaurants sont tres bien .le service est top ,le système de petites voitures est tres au point et rapide. Tous le personnel est a l'ecoute .
Les transats sont tres serrés !
Personne ne parle francais un peu dommage.

Ein traumhaftes Hotel
Obwohl wir erst 1 Woche in diesem Hotel verbracht haben (insgesamt 2 Wochen gebucht) ist es uns ein Bedürfnis, unsere Begeisterung zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Wir haben eine Sala Pool Villa gebucht. Diese hat eine tolle private Atmosphere mit dem tollen tropischen Garten und dem privaten Pool. Die Ville ist super geräumig und hat ein riesiges Bad mit integriertem Ankleidebereich. Der Service ist in allen Bereichen top. Die Teilnahme an der Cooking Class „spicespoons“ war ein unglaubliches Erlebnis und kann nur jedem empfohlen werden, der Interesse an der thailändischen Küche hat. Besonderer Dank an dieser Stelle an den Chef de Cousine der sich super um Alles gekümmert hat. Alles in Allem ein traumhafter Aufenthalt den wir noch eine Woche genießen können. Vielen Dank auch an alle die vielen überaus freundlichen Mitarbeiter in diesem Hotel. Danke adfür!

ROMANTIC
Un formidable hotel, con unas habitaciones espectaculares, con una piscina privada fabulosa,. Todo el servicio es muy bueno, y localizado en una playa poco concurrida, con unas grandes mareas. Es un hotel que he visitado muchas veces, porque te tratan muy cordialmente y es de una gran calidad

A éviter
Nous avons été trés déçu de séjour à l anantara . Nous avions l’habitude d’aller depuis plusieurs années au banyan tree voisin ou à l’autre anantara Mao Khao , nous pouvions donc avoir une bonne base de comparaison entre ces hôtels de catégorie similaire .

Ponts positifs

La gentillesse du personnel
L’entretien et le côté sauvage du resort
L’activity zone
Villa trés fonctionnelle et bien agencée …à l’intérieur

Points négatifs

L’étroitesse de la terrasse qui oblige à enjamber les transats pour se déplacer !!
Petit déjeuner trés prétentieux de par sa présentation, produits de qualité moyenne , voir pas bon et choix limitée , nous avons aussi essayé le restaurant italien , service affligeant et la encore , vraiment pas bon
L’hôtel est loin de tout , pas un restaurant de plage , un magasin , un salon de massage accessible à pieds
Plage très moyenne sujette aux marées , nous n’avons pas été surpris car nous connaissons le site avant de venir

Gros point négatif

Nous sommes restés 9 jours , sur cette période nous avons « eu droit » à deux brunchs le dimanche ou la piscine et ses environs ont été envahies par une horde de clients extérieurs au son de musique techno et un autre jour nous avons du quitter avec d’autres clients l’espace piscine avec cause d’une vingtaine de jeunes français du 93 faisant un tapage incroyable sans la moindre réaction du personnel , comment la direction sous des prétextes financiers peut elle ouvrir son établissement de cette façon ?

Our resort lays 10 minutes away from Boat Avenue, where there is a number of local restaurants, pubs, bars and shops. Our team are always on standby to help assist for transportation for when our guests wish to venture out. We do our best to offer a wide range of various food and beverage selection for our valued guests during breakfast and are always willing to further accommodate any additional requirements when requested, thank you for your feedback. Our Beach House facility is open to all guests, with the priority always given to our in house guests, while playing various music genres in different period of the day. Top Hotel auf Phuket mit bestem Service
Wir haben im Anantara Layan 5 wundervolle Tage verbringen dürfen und es war einfach nur traumhaft. Der Service und das Personal sind hervorragend und super freundlich. Unsere Deluxe Pool Villa hatte eine kleinen Plunge Pool, den wir gar nicht genutzt haben. Der große Pool am Strand mit dem Beach House ist so schön, dass wir hier gar nicht weg wollten. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist überragend und qualitativ auf einem hohen Niveau. Die Preise für das Mittag- und Abendessen sind eher teurer, aber auch jeden Cent wert. Herzlichen Dank liebes Anantara Team für einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt ❤️

Séjour de rêve
Nous avons passé une semaine dans cet excellent hôtel dans une Beach front pool villa: le Must
Séjour très agréable dans un endroit de rêve.
Baie privée sans aucune nuisance face à petite île inhabitée, excellent spot pour le kayak!
Excellent service, personnel attentionné et manager à l’écoute.
Propreté irréprochable.
Trois restaurants dans l’ordre: le Japonais top, le grill italien parfait, le thaï bon.
Spa de premier ordre avec des soins excellents et les meilleurs produits.

Bémols: prix très élevés surtout pour le vin! Parfois musique style David Getta aux platine à Ibiza le soir et le midi vers la piscine et les restaurants.

Ausgezeichnete Küche,tolles Hotel!
Das Hotel ist wunderschön,sauber, gepflegt, luxuriös,...
Das Personal ist durch und durch sehr freundlich,jeder ist stets bemüht.
Die Poolvilla ist komfortabel und in perfekter Lage .
Das Essen ist in jedem der Restaurants konstant exzellent.
Die Cookingclass ist ein toller Ausflug auf den Markt und sehr Lehrreich und geschmacklich ein Highlight im Kurs.

Wir sind durch und durch begeistert und überlegen schon,wann wir wieder kommen.

Perfekte Erholung
Am besten haben uns gefallen:
Die Lage und Anlage des Resorts an einer abgeschiedenen Bucht abseits des ansonsten überlaufenen, zugebauten und teils im Verkehr erstickenden Phuket. Paradiesisch mit weit verteilten Häuschen bzw. Villen am Hang mit dschungelartigem Bewuchs und vielen schönen Aussichten auf Strand, Meer und vorgelagerter Insel.
Das großartige Frühstück, das nicht nur bezüglich Auswahl, sondern vor allem qualitativ keine Wünsche offen ließ.
Die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten, v.a. mit ein wenig Eigeninitiative, den Aufenthalt so maßzuschneidern, dass er auch für die eigenen Bedürfnisse perfekt wird.
Mit diesem letzten Punkt will ich der Kritik entgegnen, die ich hier zuletzt bei einigen Bewertungen gesehen habe.
Zuviel Trubel und laute Musik am Hauptpool am Strand: War auch nicht nach unserem Geschmack. Aber an einem ganz anderen Ende des Resorts gab es einen weiteren, ebenfalls großen Pool für Ruhesuchende, den man praktisch für sich alleine haben konnte. Oder einfach am Strand ein Stück weiterlaufen, um dort seine Ruhe zu haben.
Überteuerte Restaurants und ansonsten nichts los rund ums Hotel: Das ist einerseits der Preis für die idyllische Lage, andererseits ist mit einem Mietwagen (oder auch Taxi bzw. Uber/Grab) so einfach Abhilfe möglich. Ist rechtzeitig gebucht sehr günstig und trotz Linksverkehr keine riesige Herausforderung. Damit kommt man nicht nur zu tausend Restaurantalternativen, sondern schnell auch an andere Strände mit tieferem Wasser; selbst die traumhafte Phang Nga Bucht ist in nicht viel mehr als einer Stunde erreicht.

Esperienza Fantastica
Io e mia moglie siamo stati in questo Resort d durante la nostra luna di miele. È stata davvero un’esperienza fantastica, non abbiamo mai ricevuto un trattamento così. Estancia maravillosa
Anantara Layan Phuket Resort es un buen hotel para viajar solo, en pareja o en grupo ya que dispone de varias opciones de habitaciones. El servicio y limpieza es increíble. El desayuno es excelente y con un buen horario.

Piatti buoni e ottima presentazione
Luogo elegante e raffinato, cucina molto buona, atmosfera piacevolissima ma rovinata da una musica troppo alta e poco adeguata, che arrivava dal ristorante del piano superiore e, altra musica, da una tenda con evento privato. Peccato il vino rosso freddo ghiacciato...

Kan & Kade le migliori massaggiatrici al mondo!
Sono stato in questo meraviglioso resort circa 3 settimane fa. È situato in una zona tranquilla di Phuket in un oasi paradisiaca. Nel resort c’è il miglior ristorante Thai di Phuket e al mattino la colazione è superba. Oltre a queste meraviglie c’è la punta di diamante: la spa! Durante il mio viaggio in Thailandia sono stato in parecchi resort 5*L dove ho fatto parecchi massaggi Thailandesi e inoltre ho provato qualsiasi tipo di massaggio in giro per il mondo. Niente paragonabile ai massaggi di Kan e Kade, semplicemente divine! Il primo giorno ho provato il massaggio antico Thai con Kan, ed è stato un’esplosione di sensazioni. Una combinazione tra intenso, rilassante, rigenerante e sensuale mai provata fino ad allora. Il secondo giorno ho provato il pacchetto love con mia moglie, sempre con Kade e Kan e sono state ancora una volta eccezionali. Sembravano conoscessero i nostri corpi al millimetro, professioniste esemplari. Consiglio vivamente la struttura e la spa a tutti!

Increíble experiencia
El hotel es fabuloso Y las habitaciones increíbles. La que yo cogí tenía una piscina de 7 m ,un cenador, un jardín privado, la habitación y el baño espectacular, en fin, todo impresionante. Si algún día vuelvo a Phuket sin duda vuelvo a este hotel.

A pranzo per caso
Incuriositi dalla spiaggia, ci siamo fermati in questo hotel chiedendo la possibilità di accedere e vedere la spiaggia.

Abbiamo mangiato molto bene all’interno di uno dei tre ristoranti presenti all’interno della struttura.

Tutto di buona fattura.

La spiaggia non mi ha convinto molto. Parecchio scura rispetto a tante altre. Non mi sono tuffato

With regards to the comments on the beach which is tidal, the resort is situated just behind a small island, which makes it quite shallow when it's at low tide. This situation is actually fascinating when you stay with us and see the different looks that it shows every 6 hours.
