“Lomani” is the Fijian word for love, and you will be sure to fall in love with this idyllic Fiji Island paradise. The crystal blue waters that lap gently onto the shores of Lomani Island’s beach provide a haven for tropical marine life and vibrant corals. The island was once home to a copra plantation and thus boasts thousands of towering coconut palms, interspersed with frangipani, hibiscus and bougainvillea flowers.

Lomani is an adults only property, and has a year round policy of only catering to children 16 years and over.

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions
  • Why choose Metour.it as your reliable online travel agency?
Metour.it is committed to offering travelers authentic and unforgettable experiences. As a leading trusted online travel agency, we stand out for our dedication to quality, safety and customer satisfaction. Every destination, package and service offered has been carefully selected to ensure an unparalleled travel experience. Furthermore, our expert team is always on hand to assist you at every stage of your journey, ensuring that every detail is taken care of to perfection.
  • Are the prices always the same even if the date changes?
Prices vary based on various factors which may be seasonal, day of the week, occupancy status of the hotel, promotions, particular fairs in the city and more. The advice, to see the prices, is to enter the dates of your stay and make your own comparisons.
  • Is breakfast always included?
No, it depends on the rate and whether the structure is organized to offer it or not. Check carefully before booking what is included and what is not and what type of service is offered.
  • Can I make special requests?
Of course, when booking you will have a field where you can write directly to the property and make your requests. These will be evaluated by the Hotel who will respond directly to you. MeTour is not responsible in this decision-making process.
  • What types of beds will I find in the room I booked?
The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
  • What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
  • How can I cancel or change my booking?
Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
  • Can I transfer my reservation to another person?
For this request, contact the property directly which may have a specific policy in this regard or may need further data on the person to whom you want to transfer the booking.
  • How can I get help with my booking?
Enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can contact us or by writing through our contact form specifying your booking number and the reason for the contact request. We recommend that you also leave a telephone number where you can be reached in case of need.
  • Are there taxes, local charges or extras to be paid directly on site?
They are normally clearly indicated in the property sheet or added during the booking phase depending on local regulations or the facility's policies. But even if not clearly indicated, payments may be requested directly to the facility for any tourist taxes, local charges or extras not included in the rate. The advice is to read everything carefully before booking or writing to us through our contact form.
  • Are small pets allowed?
It is often clearly stated in the property sheet and for this reason we invite you to carefully read their policies. Where not indicated, we invite you to contact us through our contact form for more information.

  • What are TripAdvisor reviews?
TripAdvisor reviews on MeTour.it are ratings and comments imported directly from TripAdvisor for each hotel, B&B, resort, campsite, accommodation, restaurant and museum activity you find on our site. They include an overall rating of up to 5 points, the total number of reviews, and detailed ratings for specific categories such as rooms, location, cleanliness, sleep quality, service and value for money. We also show the latest 5 reviews left by travelers on TripAdvisor. This data is automatically updated and is provided to help our users make informed choices. MeTour.it does not edit these reviews and takes no responsibility for their accuracy.

  • How are MeTour.it proposals linked to TripAdvisor reviews? What happens if there are errors in connections with TripAdvisor?
To connect our proposals to the reviews offered by TripAdvisor, we use an automatic search algorithm. This system, despite our best efforts, may occasionally catch a wrong proposal. While we make every effort to avoid such errors, we would like to point out that we cannot accept responsibility for any inaccuracies resulting from these automated links.

A little slice of paradise
Return visit to this wonderful slice of paradise. The welcome and care provided by the entire team is simply fantastic. Superb place to relax and unwind, blessed by superb surroundings and wonderful rooms. The food is delicious and the cocktails at sunset are a delightful way to end a spectacular day. Already booked for our next visit!

Beautiful resort, but food very disappointing.
Beautiful resort staffed by beautiful people. A terrific wind-down relaxing experience. The beach front house was fabulous, although privacy at the rear (beachside) was zero, even on the back deck. Screening from neighbours on either side could easily be added. There is obviously no way to screen from people walking along the beach, but there weren’t many doing that.
The resort pool was fantastic as were the poolside covered day beds and loungers.
The restaurant was beautiful and extremely well designed. The food, however, was very disappointing! The menu was restrictive and didn’t change for the week we were there. Surprisingly, for Fiji, the fish was dry and over cooked. Steaks were not at all tender. Lamb cutlets were okay. One evening there was a smorgasbord meal, which was unannounced and very expensive, with mediocre quality. To add to the food disappointment was the fact that there is only one restaurant at Lomani, so you have to grin and bear it. The only alternative is to dine at one of the Plantation Island restaurants, but (according to many who had tried them) the food was no better and there are always so many noisy children around and the ambience is no where near as good as The Lomani restaurant.
I cannot emphasise strongly enough the courtesy and friendliness of the entire staff, who did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. If only the food could live up to the rest of the resort standards I would give a five star review.
Would we go again? Probably not. My wife and I met in Fiji nearly 40 years ago, so it holds a very special place in our hearts. We’ve visited eight times over the years, staying in different resorts; some family friendly ones when we had young children and some very exclusive adults only ones once the children had flown the nest. So all-in-all, the Lomani experience was not what we’d hoped for or expected. It did force us slow down and slip into “Fiji Time” however, which was fantastic.
One final gong; the daily reef snorkelling was fantastic!

Peaceful and relaxing
We were fortunate enough to spend 9 nights here in May and every day was a little different so despite the relatively long stay, we were never bored.

I loved that Lomani is on an island with a couple of other resorts - it meant that on the one hand we were able to venture a bit further and weren’t restricted to one area, but on the other hand gave us the daily appreciation of what a special place the nicely-sized adults-only resort is, away from the larger resort next door with all the kids.

We ate at the resort restaurant every night except for once - it was great to have the option to go elsewhere but in the end we just liked the relaxed vibe and the friendly staff so much that we just stayed at the resort.

The staff are just lovely. You are welcomed with a song or two and the farewell is even more special.

Because we were staying for 9 nights as part of a 2 week trip we chose to stay in the lowest priced accommodation and it was great. We had a ground floor room - actually 2 rooms: the bedroom and separate living area so there is a ton of space. The separate living area was much appreciated as the holiday drinking made for a bit more snoring from my husband than usual so the couch in a different room was an absolute godsend - I’d take the opportunity of a few more hours sleep over the novelty of an outdoor shower in a studio room any day (though I do LOVE an outdoor shower- but you can’t have everything)!! We also had a nice little patio area out the front and I spent a lot of time in the mornings and evenings reading on the day bed out there.

We loved the pool and spent pretty much every afternoon there. Also enjoyed some of the activities on offer, especially the snorkelling and having a paddle in the kayaks

Great resort, great staff.
We were looking for a nice relaxing week away and it took us an age to decide on where to go. In the end we thought Lomani ticked most of our boxes.

The resort shares a large island with Plantation (heaps and heaps of kids) and Musket Cove (very tidal). While at Lomani you will only see kids when going to and from the resort.

The ground are really well looked after. The pool is magic and the restaurant looks over the pool, the green lawn and onto the ocean. The beach is a bit tidal so you can't snorkel at low tide, however they offer free snorkeling trips that are not to be missed. We fell into a routine of breakfast, snorkeling or diving (separate cost) and then lunch and relaxing by the pool, heaven!

We had a deluxe suite which was massive with a nice outdoor shower. It's only let down was the lack of bedside lights, not really a deal breaker. The bed was very comfortable and we could set outside our suite and look out to the sea.

Meals were pretty good, although after a week, I thought there could be a more varied menu. I would not want to stay two weeks with the options available. The drinks at the bar and were good value (in that they are cheaper than buying drinks in Melbourne).

Staff were really really friendly and made us feel welcome in everything we did. Apparently the resort was full when we were there, however with only 50 odd rooms it never felt busy.

Two things I didn't really like. One was paying for better wifi as it was spotty in places and limited to two devices. This should really no longer be a thing.
Checkout should really be 11. A few more staff would get the housing keeping done in time to check in at 2 and out at 11.

Lomani IS Love Island
Paradise on the beach. Our beachfront pool bure was incredible from the immaculate comfort, attentive service and views of sea & sunsets. We really have it all here. Reasonably priced drinks and sensational food (variety & quality) and the staff are beautiful, helpful and happy people. Love it!

empfehlenswert

* Personnel : sympa et amical, mais quelquefois (voire souvent) le 'fidji time' rend les choses beaucoup plus longues que ce qu'elles devraient être. Nous avons vu beaucoup mieux ailleurs en terme de service.

* Spa : pas grand, les dames sont sympathiques. Une masseuse portait un insigne 'housekeeper', ce qui laisser planer un doute sur l’authenticité de la 'masseuse'.

* Bestioles : quelques moustiques (en juin).

* Départ : le check-out est à 10h. La 'chambre de courtoisie' permettant de se changer est en fait la salle de sport, et vous devrez faire la queue si par hasard plusieurs chambres quittent l'hotel en même temps que vous. Très léger comme prestation. Quelques erreurs entre le prix facturé et le prix affiché sur la carte, tenir ses comptes et vérifier. Notre accès wifi a expiré avant notre départ effectif, c'est là aussi assez regrettable que ce genre de détail vienne ternir la fin du séjour. Dommage.

* Divers :
