Wir besuchten The Royal Pita Maha im Mai 2024 und verbrachten dort den größten Teil unserer Bali-Reise. Wir hatten eine große Villa mit einem Privatpool. Der Pool war sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Die Villa war sehr schön, die Einrichtung war altmodisch, aber sehr gemütlich. Die Anlage ist super schön, hat aber, je nachdem wo die Villa liegt, sehr viele Treppen. Unsere Villa war leider unten und sehr nah am Fluss. Man hat die Rafting-Touren auf dem Fluss meist laut gehört. Die Aussicht bei den oberen Villen ist deutlich schöner. Das Frühstück war extrem gut mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Das Personal war sehr engagiert und aufmerksam. Aufgrund eines Fehlers bei der Buchung seitens des Hotels hätten wir für eine Nacht in ein anderes Hotel umziehen müssen. Zum Glück wurde hier eine Lösung gefunden, sodass wir in The Royal Pita Maha bleiben konnten. Wir würden die oberen Villen auf jeden Fall empfehlen, da diese weiter vom Fluss entfernt sind (auch von den eventuell möglichen Tieren).
Insgesamt sind wir mit unserem Aufenthalt dort sehr zufrieden und können das Hotel defintiv weiterempfehlen.

Wonderful resort in the middle of nature
We had a wonderful stay at this wonderful Resort. All was perfect. We had a very nice pool-ville with lots of privacy an a with great view across the valley. The food was varied and very tasty. The employees listened to our every wish. The best address for a great stay in Ubud.

Honeymoon
We stayed here for our honeymoon and we had the most incredible stay. The staff are so lovely and friendly. The rooms are incredible with stunning views of the jungle and the rooms are pristine. The Spa is luxurious and the massage treatments were fabulous. We were treated to welcome drinks, honeymoon gifts and a beautiful room set up with petals and towel decorations. We feel very lucky to have stayed in such a magical place and can’t thank the wonderful staff enough.

Fabulous location/cleanliness below western standards
Beautiful location on the Ayung River. Stone/wood carvings in the common areas are extraordinary. Spectacular views from the rooms. Cleanliness is not up to western standards. Food at the hotel is mediocre. This is not a 5 star resort by any means.

Great peaceful stay
What a gorgeous hotel ! This is a great place to stay and relax. The villas a very spacious and private. The villa pools are not heated, but with the warm weather it makes for a refreshing dip. Be ready to do some walking and many stairs, but worth the stay. Villas could use a bit of updating, but are really nice. Full of Bali charm.
