You are greeted with welcome drink and traditional Maldivian dress,followed by a 5 min cultural movie experience. Our host Aagi was exceptional. So sweet, caring and personal. She had a conversation with us and explained culture of every dish, very sweet and welcoming. After everything was served, chef came out and we expressed our feelings about his outstanding food. Chef himself gifted us his cookbook of dishes we liked the most. I would give it a Michelin star if I could but it's being my expectations and definitely a 5+ expirience

Honeymoon from Norway

12 days in paradise
We spent a lovely 12 nights at Varu by Atmosphere in a sunset water villa. The villa was well appointed with a large deck and very comfortable sun loungers, the sunsets were amazing and we saw lots of manta rays, fish and turtles from the deck. There are Elemis toiletries in the bathroom, you don’t need to bring any of your own!
We had 3 relaxing and professional spa treatments in gorgeous treatments rooms over the water with glass panels in the floor. Everyone we met in the spa was so friendly and explained the treatments really well.
The sunset cruise was a fun trip, we saw lots of sharks and one of the team on the boat kindly took a fabulous video on my phone.
We loved the food in all the restaurants and the fab cocktails in Bay Rouge. I’d recommend everyone visits Kaage the traditional Maldivian restaurant, the setting and decor is gorgeous and the short video on the Maldives is informative,
The staff are a credit to the resort, everyone we met was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, always with a smile. Sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names but we had great service from Margaret in Lime & Chilli, Aagy in Kaage who explained all the dishes really well and a special mention to Heni and Rahul who both looked after us so well, my partner loved the infused rum Heni organised for him and Rahul arranged for the chefs to cook special meals for us, made some gorgeous cocktails for us at lunch and arranged a bottle of fizz in our villa on a day I when it rained.
Definitely recommend the resort!
We had 3 relaxing and professional spa treatments in gorgeous treatments rooms over the water with glass panels in the floor. Everyone we met in the spa was so friendly and explained the treatments really well.
