When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. Ich hatte dort für Juni über booking.com ein Zimmer gebucht. Vor kurzem wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass meine Buchung würde storniert werden müssen. Grund: Das Hostel soll als Unterkunft für Geflüchtete aus der Ukraine dienen.
Das ist einerseits löblich. Andererseits würde ich erwarten, dass man mir eine Alternativunterkunft anbietet. Nicht dergleichen ist passiert, auch nicht auf Nachfrage.

Buchung während Corona Krise - unmöglich !!!
Wir haben für den 25.04.20 zwei 6-Bett Zimmer gebucht. Die Reise nach Hannover konnte, aufgrund der Corona Krise, nicht statt finden. Die Betreiber des Hostels waren völlig unkooperativ und zu keinem Kompromiss bereit. Selbst auf eine von mir vorgeschlagene Umbuchung/Gutschrift/Teilerstattung wurde nicht eingegangen. Die Betreiber haben sich einfach nicht mehr gemeldet und den bereits bezahlten Betrag alternativlos einbehalten!! Ich werde das Hostel auf keinen Fall weiter empfehlen und sicher nicht noch einmal buchen!

Amazing service
While touring with a band we needed accommodation in Hannover for a night. Found the hostel at a rather good deal for 6 people in a 6 people room. The hostel is a bit outside the city center, but only around a 15 min. drive so not bad. Parking was 10€ a night which is alright and they had a big parking lot.
I left my good pillow in the room (absolute necessity on tour) and I was so bummed about it. However, I emailed the hostel and got a reply almost immediately that they found it and they would ship it to my home address in Denmark with no cost. It just arrived today. Amazing service! Receptionists were super nice as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Great weekend stay with my friends
Me and my friends stayed here last october for the oktobefest, The hotel was great. Really good value for money. Clean and basic but cheap , and right in the heart of hannover. The bars and restaurants literally start across the road and the beer festival site / football ground is about a 35 minute pleasant walk away. Would definitely return.
