  • What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
    By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.

Best spent two days...
Really we enjoyed our stay at Abad, Thekkady. We booked 3 cottages for 10 persons through the resort's online booking facility. The rooms were so clean and comfortable; worth for money too. Complementary breakfast was also good. Totally nice place to stay.

Pleasant stay
We booked Jungle rooms and we stayed for 2 days with family and friends. Many tourist spots are close by, the resort had good breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff, help desk staff at the reception were polite, swimming pools were clean. Car parking space were adequate.

Jungle rooms do not have any AC but the management can install one and can be used based on the customer preference.

Overall had a plesant stay, will recommend to others.

Un hôtel de rêve, bien situé où l’on peut se ressourcer
Je suis resté 2 jours dans cet hôtel bien placé, central et en même temps très calme, au milieu de la forêt avec des oiseaux et des singes.
le personnel est aimable et efficace, les réservations pour le bus et bateau de periyar sont à 200 m et presque en face les réservations pour des spectacle de danse et d’art martiaux .
Piscine fraîche et agréable .

I’m afraid I can’t recommend Abad Green Forest.
At first view, Abad Green Forest looks like a fabulous place to stay. We were in a jungle cottage - a really great size room. We were warmly welcomed by reception staff - who were generally very helpful.

On the positive side:
There’s a pool, the restaurant has a good selection for breakfast to suit anyone’s tastes. The lunch menu and dinner buffet are great.
Staff are warm and friendly and keen to help.
Thekkady is a very vibrant bustling town with lots to offer - this hotel is right in the town centre, perfect if you want to be in the heart of the activity. Don’t forget to barter in the shops!!

On the negative side:
There was no hot water after about 8.30am every day for any of our party of eight during our 5 night stay.
The two twin rooms we had booked turned out to be double rooms - with one bed. The second person in the room ended up sleeping on a pull out sofa bed.
The WiFi didn’t reach the ground floor cottages - so we could only get WiFi in the restaurant / reception area.
There is a lot of noise from the town - despite being set back from the main centre. The fridge in the room was also so loud we had to switch it off over night.
There were frequent power cuts.
Ground staff regularly walked past our outdoor seating area with no warning - which was awkward when I had the door open and had just come out of the shower…!

Overall I was disappointed. The resort has a lot of potential, but it feels badly managed with flaws that would need to be rectified for me to recommend it.

Lovely, but good luck if there’s a fire!
This place is really lovely and the staff are very friendly and polite. Electrics are a little dodgy as are the fire safety standards. An electrical fire occurred at around 4am in my friend’s room. Neither the smoke alarm or the sprinklers worked. Fortunately my friends woke up and got out of the room. They alerted the hotel staff who ambled down and then tried to put the fire out with an empty fire extinguisher. Eventually, they turned off the electrics and put the fire out with water. Electrics in our adjoining room kept going off after that. Air con and fridge stopped working completely.

Très bien situé
Bel hôtel avec des chambres spacieuses et bien aménagées. Attention la mosquée n'est pas loin. Alors boules Quies pour l'appel de 05h!
L'établissement est situé au calme mais dans le centre ville près des magasins et des restaurants. Les bus pour le parc sont à 10mns à pieds.
Bon petit-déjeuner et très bon dîner.

Paradis verdoyant
Après avoir quitter les chaudes plaines du Tamil Nadu nous voici au abord du Kerala et arrivons dans ses forêts rafraîchissantes et cet hôtel est un lieu agréable à tous points de vues. Les chambres, dans de jolis bungalows en coteaux offrent une terrasse nous permettant de profiter de la fraîcheur et des bruits de la faune sauvage. Le service de chambre et la restauration sont de bon niveau.
Sa proximité avec le parc national de Periyar est un atout important. La présence a une centaine de mettre d'un centre culturel peut permettre également la découverte des arts martiaux et du théâtre traditionnel du sud de l'Inde.

Havre de paix au cœur de Thekkady.
Hôtel doté d’un environnement végétal d’exception au cœur de la ville de Thekkady. Chambres confortables et ambiance particulièrement apaisée . Restauration de qualité et personnel bienveillant. Cet hôtel éloigné de l’agitation de la rue , est un véritable havre de paix et dispose d’une piscine subtilement intégré à l’environnement .

Sehr einfaches Hotel mit Mängeln
Das Hotel wurde für eine Nacht im Rahmen einer Indienrundreise besucht.

+ Der Service war sehr bemüht.

- Die Zimmer waren sehr einfach eingerichtet. Es gab von Seiten des Hotels keinen Schutz gegen Moskitos. Die Bettwäsche war dreckig, zudem kam es sehr häufig zu Stromausfällen.

Hermoso hotel
Visitando Periyar nos alojamos en el hotel Abad Green, hermoso hotel con una recepciíon muy pintoresca y en un entorno con mucha vegetaciíon, La habitaciíon muy amplia con todo lo necesario para el confort y un buen descanso, con balcon, mosquitera, aire acondicionado y muy luminosa, el baño muy bien con una ducha hermosa y amenitis. La pileta muy buena, concurrida por mucha gente, tiene spa pero no tenian turno para el horario que estabamos en el hotl. El desayuno muy variado para todos los gustos. Esta muy bien ubicado en una zona comercial, es una ciudad pequeña muy agradable para salir a caminar. Recomiendo este hotel ampliamente.

Super tolle Anlage
Trotz der Größe der Anlage war es sehr ruhig . Zimmer waren groß und sehr sauber mit wunderschönen Balkon und Aussicht . Sehr freundliches Personal und guter Service . Restourant mit einem sehr guten und vielseitigen Angebot .

Nel verde
Camere/bungalow immerse nel verde e con una location molto valida.
La struttura avrebbe bisogno di essere rimaneggiata, la stanza era piccola ed il bagno da rivedere, ma per passare una notte come nel nostro caso va più che bene. Bello essere in mezzo al verde, c'è anche la piscina ed il ristorante è buono, anche se appena fuori dall'hotel ce ne sono in parecchi.
Sorpresa mattutina (alle cinque) la sveglia non voluta e inaspettata dalle preghiere superamplificate di una moschea nelle immediate vicinanze.

Hotel bello, bel giardino, silenzioso.
Gennaio 2017. Dopo Munnar a 1700 m.slm abbiamo trovato il sole e una temperatura più "consona" alle aspettative. L'hotel è bello, pulito, silenzioso. Ci hanno dato una camera con balcone che però non abbiamo aperto perchè ci hanno avvertito che ci sono le scimmie in giro..... Stanza ampia e bel bagno. Colazione e cena nella norma ma più che accettabili, specialità locali.

Esperienza da non ripetere
La struttura in apparenza non è male, le camere sono dei piccoli bungalow disseminati nella foresta, l'odore nauseante di muffa è quello che mi è rimasto più impresso pulizia che lascia a desiderare, all'arrivo non c'era l'acqua calda per la doccia, dopo vari reclami, arrivo del tecnico, l'acqua e arrivata dopo un'ora, ho chiesto la sveglia per le 6 della mattina seguente e mi sono raccomandato dell'acqua per la doccia, naturalmente l'acqua era fredda. Unica nota non negativa il ristorante non male ma soprattutto personale gentile, prezzi modici. Di questa sosta non mi è piaciuto niente, evitate il giro in barca all'alba per vedere gli animali si vede solo una landa desolata, forse meglio il trekking.
