Anniversary celebrations
First time for us to try African food, and we are absolutely happy... The food is super delicious. We have this sharing flater reconditioned by chef Francis. It was great to meet him, and he also made us a great dessert 😋 We definitely come back for more in the future...

Atmosphere that will make you feel like you're truly in Africa!
The restaurant is located in Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villa Resort in the west of the island. Savannah Grill has a unique atmosphere that will make you feel like you're truly in Africa. Especially if you are offered a separate table in the garden.
The freshly baked breadbasket was presented with 2 cups of roasted tomato sauce and roasted pepper sauce - a lovely South African touch.
The menu features a variety of mouth-watering Pan-African espatada and other African dishes, meat, chicken and seafood.
We ordered Out of Africa Extravaganza meat sharing platter. For dessert we enjoyed the Decadent Chocolate Tort Symphony.
The only thing that was disappointing was the service: they need to hire more staff to provide quick service. Otherwise, the food was very tasty.

Jungle Theme Dinner
We stayed at Al Yamm property and visited this restaurant for dinner. There are three Anantara properties on this island and we visited this restaurant for dinner. Beautiful ambiance, great outdoor setting …. One feels they are in African jungle. The food was amazing and must say that our servers Tina from Nigeria and Arraw from India were really too good in their hospitality.

I had a romantic dinner with my husband for our anniversary and everything was spectacular! From the dinner setup, ambience, food and especially the service! Our butler Waru was very knowledgeable about the food recommendations and served us delicious drinks that he personally made. Overall unforgettable experience!
