- What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). Great food and perfect place to watch the sun go down
Came here to watch the sunset and have dinner. The staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough. The food was fabulous with great attention to detail. A definite must if you are in the Vagator area. There is also a very extensive drinks menu

Never Again!
Never Again! From the minute we walked in the welcome was luke warm to say the least, the guy at reception barely looked up to acknowledge us. Therefore, first impressions were not great. Eyes are immediately drawn to the views which are lovely, but this is the only thing going for it. Firstly we had an Ocean Delight Room, described on their website as “perfect for a romantic retreat or a tranquil siesta that is augmented by the calming echoes of the waves hitting the rocky beach”. So…. The room was shaking from the moment we arrived with the booming music coming from above, we literally could not hear ourselves think. We enjoy music and nice vibes, but this was crazy. It started around 3pm and then when we enquired we were told this would continue until 1-2am. We have not been to Vagator before or understood the full enormity of it being a serious party place, but I feel Antares do not make this clear enough before you check in. They need to be explicit that heavy dance music will be played and you will hear it in any of the rooms full blast. We literally lasted 3 hours before we checked straight back out. I tried to talk to reception about our concerns but there was absolutely no interest at all. They would not refund us, or even meet us in the middle so we checked out having paid for 3 nights, it was that bad. I also must say, the room was shabby, not well looked after, the bathroom tiny. I have stayed in hotels across the world and never checked out after just checking in. They seem to have an air of attitude that they are great and we were the crazy ones, but trust me people will not pay high prices for mediocre rooms/service. If you want to be up all night, then stay. The views and beach are lovely. If you want to maintain some level of sanity, avoid at all costs. If anyone within the organisation wants to talk seriously about our refund then please get in touch.

Noisy, Scruffy, Overpriced
Visited many times, but this was the first time since 2020. Tatty and noisy now. Lost all its charm. Seriously overpriced too. Two plates of pasta, sparkling water and a bottle of wine cost over £70. Paid less at White Plate in Candolim for an exceptional 8 course tasting menu. Last visit for us I’m afraid.
