  • What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
    By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
  • How can I cancel or change my booking?
    Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
  • Can I transfer my reservation to another person?
    For this request, contact the property directly which may have a specific policy in this regard or may need further data on the person to whom you want to transfer the booking.

First Class Stay @ City Hotel Derry City
What a wonderful two nights my wife and I experienced in the City Hotel Derry.
From the warm reception we received on arrival at check in to the huge room we had. It all went beyond our expectation.
The hotel is spotless and ideally located for site seeing in the city or taking in the coastal drives.
Breakfast was great and the evening meal special was first class at only 49 ponds per couple with wine.
Nice also to have the pool and jacczzi facility in house..

A special mention and thanks has to go to Mr Gerry Mc Keever the City Hotel concierge.. What a friendly guy he is with a wealth of knowledge on the areas best things to do and places to see. You made our stay all the more special Gerry.

We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return....

Centrally located comfortable rooms, breakfast not recommended
Good room size and comfortable bedding. Tea and coffee making facilities

As it is situated in the heart of the city, it can be extremely busy.

Limited variety for breakfast, chef serving hot food, portion controlled. All pastries were cold and not fresh

The is live music in the lobby which is nice and relaxing

It is centrally located and walking distance to the Peace Bridge and other tourist attractions and restaurants

Improvements needed
We booked a Junior Suite room, so the size of the room was just fine. However, a few things need improving. The bed mattress was lumpy, as were the thin pillows. The bathroom shower had excellent water pressure, but there was no shelf in the shower to keep any hair products. There was not even a tiny shelf for soap. The result was keeping all those items on the floor whilst showering.

Hotel needs an up-grade to be better
This hotel grading is going down fast, 3 star it should be at most, presidential room was cold & had a plug in heater to warm a large space, no slippers for feet, private hallway door held open with a wedge, hard pillows, 2 TV's but only one worked correctly, not worth the upgrade. The food in the restaurant was never good however the breakfast is always very good except on our last visit due to 2 bus tours taking over the breakfast room other customers were told to take a seat in the lobby as there was no room for them in the breakfast room? this was impossible as the whole lobby area was strewn with travel luggage blocking any of the seats not to mention people standing around, this is not very good management & most annoying as we could have took our time coming down for the breakfast, why take on these tours when the hotel cannot cope & make other customers wait who are probably leaving more money at the hotel & are then treated like this? The tables/seats & floor were left in a terrible state when we were eventually let in to the breakfast room. It is very disappointing that this once great hotel with a great staff is heading down the maximise the profit route & customers can take what they get & not what they should be getting, we may now have to go elsewhere for our next stays in Derry.

Thumping Loud Music Marred Our Stay
This hotel was let down by one thing. We stayed on a Saturday night and were on the second floor, right above their Function room on the first floor. The noise from the thumping loud music was so bad I rang down to complain, which is very unusual for me. I was told it would go on until 1 AM and although he’d ask them to turn it down, it made no discernible difference and sleep was elusive until it stopped. We were not warned about this on check in when we could have made alternative plans and felt it totally unacceptable. The rest of the stay was fine, nice room, pleasant staff, leisure facilities etc but we won’t be going back.

Di riferimento, centralissimo con parcheggio gratuito ( per lo meno io nn ho pagato) discreta la colazione anche se la sala è la hall è sempre piena di gente che rende allegro l’ambiente..
La camera nulla di che specie il bagno ma tutto sommato confortevole specie per le notevoli dimensioni ..
C’è sicuramente di meglio ma a prezzi assai più elevati, lo raccomando qualità prezzo

Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte in questo hotel che ci è piaciuto molto. L'unica pecca, se si può dire, è che la doccia è a muro, e per entrare bisogna scavalcare la vasca da bagno che ha una anti igienica tenda di plastica.

Buen servicio
Hotel remodelado y en buen estado,
Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero con buen servicio de limpieza, la vista desde la habitación bonita.
El baño es incómodo por lo pequeño, requiere remodelación.
La comida en el restaurante es muy buena pero el servicio es lento.
Buena ubicación para un paseo por la zona.

Zentral – gute Lage
Von aussen macht das Hotel einen guten Eindruck – in der Lobby auch noch aber das Zimmer im 4. OG zum Innenhof – etwas abgewohnt. Es war recht gross mit Doppel- und Einzelbett. Sehr dicker dunkler brauner Teppich – braune Wände – sehr düster – Fenster dreckig. Es gab WLAN – Fernseher – Wasserkocher – Tee/Kaffee. Es war ruhig so dass man wenigstens gut schlafen konnte. Frühstück – falsche Zeit im Frühstücksraum denn der war voll. Eine !! Kaffeemaschine für alle Gäste – ungeniessbarer Orangensaft - Frühstücksbuffet mit begrenzter Auswahl und mit Bedienung! ….wieder anstehen. Die Lage am Fluss - neben dem Stadtzentrum und einigen schönen Pubs spricht für das Hotel.

Nicht zu empfehlen
Unfreundlich, Waschtisch undicht, laut weil Fenster undicht sind, kaum Auswahl beim Frühstück, obwohl es im Frühstücksraum Platz hat wird man angehalten in der Lobby zu warten bis man aufgerufen wird.
Das Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen, da gibt es in Derry bessere und günstigere.

muy buen hotel, en excelente ubicación

Ne vaut pas le prix ni les étoiles
Aucune air climatisé, aucune eau froide dans la chambre, seulement de l'eau très chaude qui sort du robinet. l'accueil est peu chaleureuse et nous nous attendions à plus de la chambre vu les photos sur le net...très déçu!

Céntrico pero masificado
Mucho descontrol y barullo en el hall, junto a los sofás, bar, comedor...Mucho ruido y nada de acogedor. En cambio la habitación muy aceptable, con vistas al río. Mobiliario moderno. Iluminación agradable.Lo mejor es la ubicación totalmente en el centro. Opté por no ir a la cena que tenía incluida y parece que acerté porque, al parecer, no fue del agrado del grupo, además de tardar más de dos horas en servirla. Falta de personal y atención pésima.

Buena experiencia
Hotel en el centro de la ciudad. Habitaciones amplias y limpias, y las triples tienen una tercera cama igual de confortable y grande que las principales, no una simple supletoria. Desayuno bueno también. Lo único a criticar es la cena, que aunque no fuera mala, no tenían suficiente personal como para atenderla y estuvimos 2 horas para cenar.

Road treap en Irlande
Comme beaucoup d'hôtels il fait trop chaud dans les chambres avec des couettes trop épaisses pour une nuit de juillet, même en irlande. En plus, sûrement pour des raisons de sécurité on ne peut pas ouvrir les fenêtres pour aérer. Sinon c'est propre et le petit déjeuner est correct. On est tombé le jour d'un festival de musique qui a écourté notre nuit😈

Großes Hotel mit guter Lage
Direkt am Rande der Stadtmauer neben dem Rathaus liegt das City Hotel. Auf der anderen Seite liegt der Fluss und die Peace-Brücke. Parken für Gäste mit Auto kostenlos. Checkin sehr schnell und freundlich mit vielen Tipps. Zimmer im 4. OG zum Innenhof - naja. Größe war ok. Doppel- und Einzelbett, Sessel, kleiner Fernseher. Kaffee- und Teemöglichkeit. Bad kleiner mit Badewanne. Gibt sicher bessere Zimmer im Hotel, aber war halt Standart. Frühstück dagegen basic. Das Hotel beherbergt viele Reisegruppen und wir waren zur falschen Zeit frühstücken. Allzuviel Auswahl gibt es nicht. Lage: top, Zimmer: gut (Preis-/Leistung), Frühstück: naja geht. Aufgrund der Lage in Derry zu empfehlen.

Angenehmes Hotel in super Lage
Wir suchten eine Unterkunft in Londonderry/Derry und wollten erst gar nicht am City Hotel anhalten, da wir uns als Familie während des Urlaubs mehr an B&B's orientiert haben. In Ermangelung an Möglichkeiten und aufgrund der späten Stunde, fragten wir doch am City Hotel an.
In Erwartung hoher Übernachtungskosten aufgrund der 4-Sterne-Wertung waren wir dann doch über den Preis positiv überrascht. Für uns drei veranschlagte man 114 Pounds die Nacht. Jedoch beinhaltete die Übernachtung ein Dreigang-Abendmenü und ein Full-English/Irish-Breakfast am Morgen. In Vergleich zu den lokal üblichen B&B-Kosten relativiert sich daher der Preis.
Das Zimmer war seher geräumig und sauber. Der Ausblick auf das Stadtzentrum und den River Foyle famos.
Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral. Man kann direkt das gemütliche Zentrum, die Stadtmauer und die Pubs erkunden. Bis ins Viertel Bogside ist es ebenso nicht weit, wo man anhand der Denkmäler und Graffitis dem leider wieder aktueller werdenden Nordirlandkonflikt nahe kommt.
Insgesamt haben wir uns in der Stadt und in dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder!

Troppe quattro stelle
Hotel in posizione ottima per girare a Derry con disponibile anche un parcheggio (Non troppo grande ahimè). Camera piuttosto striminzita, non bene insonorizzata e letto scomodo. Bagno di discrete dimensioni ma vasca datata con una tenda per farsi la doccia a dir poco imbarazzante strappata e bucata in più punti. Colazione non esaltante ma personale cortese e disponibile.

Meilleur emplacement pour hotel ville
Ici l'on a ce charme un peu désuet à l'anglaise, avec un service souriant, c'est 50 pour cent du succès, l'établissement respire le sérieux, idéalement placé pour les touristes que nous sommes,nous avons apprécié la piscine au deuxième,
Le bar sur le côté sympa, le parking en sous sol pratique il est vrai vite plein, la chambre est nette et propre, et la salle de bains de confort actuel, en conclusion agréable séjour.

Wie hat dieses Hotel 4 Sterne erhalten????
Zuerst das Positive: die Lage ist wunderbar zentral und das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich. Aber leider war das auch schon alles! In unserem Zimmer lag ein benutztes Taschentuch gut sichtbar unter dem Fernsehtisch. Die Vorhänge und auch der Duschvorhang waren löchrig (nicht nur ein Loch), das Bad war alt mit kaputten Fliesen und verrotteten Fugen, der Tisch beim Frühstück nicht richtig sauber gewischt....
Wir würden uns beim nächsten Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall ein anderes Hotel aussuchen!

Bon niveau de confort.
Grande chambre, d'un très bon niveau de confort, avec une jolie vue sur la Foyle. En revanche, petit déjeuner un peu décevant ( loin du raffinement de celui du Christchurch Jurysinn) , tant par le manque de choix que par le service, pas toujours professionnel. Parking avec un nombre de places limité. On ne vous propose rien si il est plein.

Une vrai pause en ville.
Très bien situé pour faire les remparts et aller sur le pont.
Ensuite piscine et SPA.
Très grande chambre, vue superbe
Repas très bon une note moyenne pour l'irish coffe. Celui de Dublin reste le meilleure pour l'instant.

Siamo venuti in questo hotel durante il nostro giro dell'Irlanda. L'albergo si presenta bene camere spaziose comode e pulite, ottimo wifi, parcheggio gratuito e posizionato benissimo a pochi metri dal centro.

Non ho capito le 4 stelle
Forse una volta, appena aperto...
il parcheggio ha posti limitati "chi prima arriva meglio alloggia". L'ascensore non raggiunge il piano -1 del parcheggio e ti devi portare le valigie a mano su per le scale. Personale freddo e poco disponibile. Camere vecchie, non molto pulite, letto sfondato.
Insomma molto deludente, veramente non capisco le 4 stelle di questo hotel.
