Nice place in Ucanha
We had a good stay here, for the most part. The staff was lovely, unfailingly helpful and courteous. We did not have a balcony in the room, so it was a bit darker than we like, but otherwise pleasant. Comfortable bed and bath, but no WiFi in the room.
Other amenities were a sauna, which I couldn’t get to be hot, an indoor pool and an extensive outdoor pool that was very refreshing. The restaurant had a decent brunch- only had dinner once as there were other places we wanted to try.
One morning we made a reservation to tour the nearby caves - that was a delightful tour, different from the other production wineries we visited. Ucanha is also an interesting town with Roman architecture.
Other amenities were a sauna, which I couldn’t get to be hot, an indoor pool and an extensive outdoor pool that was very refreshing. The restaurant had a decent brunch- only had dinner once as there were other places we wanted to try.

A orillas del Duero
Hotel nuevo construido rehabilitando una quinta de bodegas de vino del Douro, en medio de la zona rural de la figresia de Tarouca, en Ucanha a unos 10 kilómetros de Lamego a orillas del Duero. Magníficas vistas a las montañas. El acceso, es de camino de tierra sin asfaltar y adoquines. Pero no difícil de encontrar. Dispone de 2 piscinas exteriores y una cubierta en la zona del SPA. Magnificos desayunos completísimos. Tiene restaurante con una carta poco extensa pero muy bien elaborada y por muy buen precio. Las habitaciones son amplias y luminosas y con unas muy buenas vistas. El personal excepcional, hicieron todo lo posible para que nuestra estancia fuera lo más cómoda posible, volveremos.

Paradise
This is a beautiful hotel surrounded by the most beautiful countryside with the magnificent Douro River just along the road. Unfortunately we were only here for one night but in all my years and on all my travels I have never found more friendly and welcoming staff. They simply couldn't have made us feel more at home. We will undoubtedly return.

Hôtel choisi car nous avons un petit chien et ils ne sont pas les bienvenus partout.
Vu le contexte, mesures sanitaires bien respectées avec test à l'arrivée, distanciation, précautions générales. On se sent en sécurité.
L'endroit est magnifique, la grande piscine vraiment atypique et la vue exceptionnelle. Un vrai dépaysement.
Le restaurant et le petit-déjeuner sont de qualité et le personnel vraiment aimable.
Nous n'avons pas pu tester le spa à cause de la pandémie, du coup nous reviendrons :)

What a pleasant surprise! Nestled in the Douro valley a quaint new hotel. What really impressed me was the staff! They were outstanding, they went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible, especially the blond receptionist. The breakfast was also very good. A must stay!
