Located inside the National Park Tayrona, 45 minutes from the main entrance El Zaino, you will find our luxury accommodation. We have 14 ecohabs, 4 of them for couples and 10 for family and friends with a unique view of the sea. Each Ecohab has a bathroom on the first level with hot water, a terrace with a minibar, table and chairs, and hammocks for your relaxation and connection with nature. The Superior Ecohabs have a double bed, ceiling fan, TV with DirecTV and spectacular views. The Deluxe Ecohabs are larger and have the option to sleep up to 4 people in a Queen bed and two single beds.
Ecohabs guests have access to the Jacuzzi and Turkish bath offered by the hotel. We have 2 Jacuzzis, one with a spectacular view from the top of the Tayrona and the other strategically located on the beach to enjoy the sound of the sea accompanied by a peaceful rest in the hanging bed.
On this beach, on a sunny and relaxing afternoon, you will find and enjoy gastronomy with unique dishes on the BBQ grill, as well as restaurant service with typical dishes from the region.

Mala idea ir si no te gusta fumar
Si eres fumador o te da igual ser fumador pasivo, diría que el Tequendama es la mejor opción para pasar varios días en el Parque Tayrona. Si, por el contrario, detestas el humo de cigarrillo, no te recomiendo ir. La gente fuma en todo lado y el hotel es permisivo.
El restaurante tiene un letrero de prohibido fumar, pero es abierto, y los fumadores se sientan en las bancas que están a pocos metros de éste.
Las carpas de lujo (Alunas), que están a unos 10 metros unas de otras, tienen una especie de terraza donde también se explayan a fumar. A esa distancia, el humo se siente en la carpa vecina.
El wifi está disponible sólo cerca a la zona de recepción. Si quieres tener algunos minutos de conexión sin nadie fumando cerca, te toca emboscar el momento como gato salvaje.
El restaurante tiene un letrero de prohibido fumar, pero es abierto, y los fumadores se sientan en las bancas que están a pocos metros de éste.

Very nice place to stay
Awesome view, the ecohab was so beautiful, with a lovely view. The food was delicious, very close to the beach, where you can swim, the bar at the beach is a nice touch, as the chairs to leave your things and take the sun. The jacuzzi was great too, and we love that you can prepare your own coffee at your room

Hotel único en medio de la naturaleza caribe
Gran hotel. Lugar lleno de magia de selva y mar en el Parque Tayrona en Santa Marta. Inolvidable sonido del mar , playa espectacular y mar intenso.

Nur die Lage ist top
Die Lage dieser Hütten mitten im Nationalpark ist zweifelsfrei DAS Plus - und ebenso zweifelsfrei der Grund für die aufgerufenen Preise, immerhin auf 5-Sterne-Niveau. Dieses Level haben allerdings eben nur diese beiden: Lage und Preis. Ansonsten sollte der Reisende wissen, worauf er sich einlässt! Die Hütten werden für zwei oder vier Gäste veranschlagt und haben sozusagen zwei Etagen, verbunden über eine Außen(!)treppe. Dabei ist alles eher spartanisch-rudimentär. Oben im Schlafbereich gibt es keine Fenster(scheiben), nur Fensterläden und Fliegengitter. So hört man sehr (!) deutlich das Rauschen des Meeres; Klimaanlage gibt es keine, nur einen Ventilator. Meist ist es schwülheiß... In dem kleinen Raum gibt es ein Bett mit Moskitonetz. Das reicht zwar für eine Person von max. 1,80 m - aber für zwei Erwachsene?? Ansonsten gibt es einen (1!) Sessel und ein kleines Möbelstück. Man lebt zwangsläufig aus dem Koffer, Ablagemöglichkeiten gibt es sonst nicht. Treibt einen die Blase nachts raus, muss man über besagte Außentreppe nach unten... Das Bad ist ganz okay, ist aber genauso wenig klimatisiert. Na ja, Eco halt...
Das Beste ist wahrscheinlich die Hängematte (bzw. 2 davon bei den 4-Personen-Hütten) mit Blick aufs Meer. Den haben offenbar alle Hütten.
Das Restaurant ist okay (das Frühstück vielleicht etwas sparsam) und sein Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Der Badestrand des Resorts (La Piscinita) ist sehr klein. Am "eigentlichen" Strand Cañaveral ist baden verboten, aber zumindest lohnt ein Spaziergang absolut.
Ansonsten bietet das Resort nichts an: Um irgendwelche Aktivitäten - so gewünscht - muss man sich selbst kümmern.
Fazit: Allein die wunderschöne Lage rechtfertigt die Luxuspreise eher nicht. Zumal die Pflege der Hütten auch zu wünschen übrig lässt...

Aufgrund der Bauweise der Unterkünfte - Holz, Palmen - sind sie nicht klimatisiert. Wir befinden uns zwischen dem Dschungel und dem Meer, eine geografische Lage, die uns einen Wettbewerbsvorteil verschafft, die aber leider alle unsere Kommunikationssysteme, Wifi, Fernsehen, Telefone usw. beeinträchtigt. AMAZING HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT IF YOU LOVE NATURE
If you have reasonable expectations based on the location (middle of the jungle) then this place is everything you want and more.
First of, the view from the rooms is breathtaking. Opening your window and seeing a private Caribbean beach is on another level.
The rooms are clean, have a fan, and running water.
They provide mosquito nets but you need to bring insect repellent.
The location within the park is great and I even saw a monkey from my room.
If you’re looking for this to be the four seasons, this isn’t the place for you. But if you truly love nature and want a break away from the world, highly recommend it.
The lobby and restaurant have good wifi.
