Lovely Stay
We stayed for two nights while visiting the west coast of Denmark. Found it to be an easy walk into town, which was rather sleepy this time of year (no complaints). Conversant in German and English, in addition to Danish, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Check in/out went smoothly, as did arranging use of the spa and free bikes. The entire place has a relaxing vibe and our room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Super comfortable bed and pillows, as well as a great shower. We booked a room with a little balcony with a view of the fields; if you can, it's worth it for the nicer view. The continental breakfast was delicious and they have a coffee machine that actually made really good, strong coffee. We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant, since it was very expensive (per the usual for Americans dining out in Denmark). Found a little place called Cafe Marina in Hvide Sande, which was perfectly suitable (maybe not during high-season). The spa is totally worth the additional cost. The steam room, various saunas, foot bath, heated indoor pool and salt water pool on the roof were wonderful. One fee gives you access to all of these options for the day.

Lousy food, fine spa bath
The positive part first: The room and spa bath were fine. Likewise, the staff were friendly. But the food was awful. They really marketed their 3 course dinner with home baked bread: what a disappointment: the bread was lousy, the soup was cold and almost sold out, the sauce was not hot. It was NOT worth the money.

Hotel ok, leider Erwartungen nicht ganz getroffen
Gutes Hotel auf unserer Rundreise. Das Hotel wurde von unserem Reiseveranstalter in Deutschland gebucht und war Teil unserer Rundreise. Wir hatten viele Erwartungen in dieses Hotel, die leider nicht ganz erfüllt wurden.
Es gab sehr wenig Personal, und das was vorhanden war wirkte gestresst und unfreundlich. Wir haben mehr als einmal lange an der Rezeption oder Bar warten müssen. Wenn dann irgendwann jemand kam wurde das mit Personalmangel weggeredet. Gut und schön und es ist schwer aktuell, aber man zahlt ja auch für einen gewissen Service.
Wir reisten mit Hund und waren somit im Hundezimmer. Ein extra Gang mit einigen Zimmern mit Terrasse und Garten. Für unseren Hund absolut toll und ein Hundetraum. Sie hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Für uns als Zweibeiner fühlten wir uns etwas auf dem Abstellgleis, da wir das auch zahlreichen 4- und 5-Sterne Hotels in Deutschland, Österreich und Italien nicht gewohnt waren, in einem älteren und schlechteren Zimmer untergebracht zu werden.
Aber gut, wir waren tagsüber viel unterwegs und somit war es für die Nacht auch ok. Ärgerlich war, dass wir nach der ersten Nacht keinen Zimmerservice hatten. Es wurden lediglich die Betten gemacht. Aber sonst wurde nicht gesaugt oder ähnliches. Klar, wir hatten einen Hund dabei, aber auch hier wird täglich dafür gezahlt, und aus anderen Hotels sind wir das nicht gewohnt. Das war einfach schade und hatte dann für uns einen gewissen Beigeschmack.
Frühstück war gut, hier hat es an nichts gefehlt.

Tak for anmeldelse. Værelser til overnattende med hund bliver frisket op her til efteråret. Naturligvis skal der støvsuges når man er på værelset i flere nætter. Det retter vi op på. Jeg synes vi har det personale på som antallet af gæster tilsiger, men det lader til at vi skal arbejde med arbejdsgang og tilstedeværelse i visse afdelinger.

I was a little disappointed. And no spa entrance included :(
We received a room were all the people who have dogs sleep :(. 4 positive things was that we had a terrace, breakfast, coffee maskin and a good car charger on the parking lot. The bathroom was old, the water in the sink was not flowing properly. No small fridge in the room. Entrance to the spa had to be payed in addition :( The breakfast was good but not the best, very average.
