    The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
  • What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
    By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
  • How can I cancel or change my booking?
    Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
  • Can I transfer my reservation to another person?
    For this request, contact the property directly which may have a specific policy in this regard or may need further data on the person to whom you want to transfer the booking.
  • How can I get help with my booking?

Convenient location
Stayed two nights here. Very handy for bus stop 13 (just across the road) for tours.

The standard double is small and comfortable. It is also warm which is important in this country. The wet room/bathroom is very compact. If you are bigger than "average" it may not be so practical. Shower pressure is good and the water hot which are the important aspects.

I enjoyed breakfast here - herrings which are my favourite. Fresh fruit/berries, Skyrr yoghurt, salad etc.

All staff met were very friendly and helpful.

Good location for the city too.

Centrally located, clean & cosy
This hotel was centrally located with good access to tourist buses, main street and harbour area.
Room was spotlessly clean. Very cold & snowing outside but plenty of heating and very cosy inside.
Very compact, folding shower cubicle which made it awkward getting in & out.

Faultless
I cannot fault this hotel. The room was spotless, the beds really comfy and the staff fabulous. We opted to have breakfast in the hotel which was super with a great selection of foods on offer. To top it all the hotel location is just a stones throw from the center of town. We will be back!

Excellent hotel perfectly situated
Was a bit concerned as only three star but when we arrived absolutely fantastic hotel. lovely modern and decorated hotel reception Staff excellent and helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean. And better than a basic room. beds very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was everything you needed and hot breakfast as well as continental brilliant choices. Waiter even came around with hot pastries straight out of the oven the breakfast room is fantastically decorated in a nice bistro style. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy there even a fantastic lounge area opposite reception perfect for relaxing. If I ever came to Iceland again would definitely stay here as it’s perfectly located for the main shopping area and sea front and lots of things to do in walking distance.

Great location & very clean
Great location, across from bus stop 13 so airport transport and tour was made easier. Rooms are clean & beds comfortable, only negative is bathroom is very small and wet room doesn't drain properly, breakfast was excellent, Great food hall close by with a choice of different high quality food choices. Close to the main tourist streets & harbour so would recommend staying here.

Sehr gute Wahl wegen gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und guter Lage
Trotz guter Lage direkt an der Innenstadt meines Eindrucks nach ein vergleichsweise gühnstiges Hotel für die Verhältnisse von Reykjavik. Zudem stehen zahlreiche kostenlose Parkplätze hinter dem Gebäude zur Verfügung.

Mein Zimmer war tadellos, gut instandgehalten und sauber. Die Betten vielleicht etwas schmal aber nicht zu schmal. Trotz der Lage an einer Durchgangsstraße war von Verkehrslärm kaum etwas zu hören.

Das Frühstück war reich an Auswahl und wie für Hotels gewohnt.

Klar größter Bonus: Das ganz besonders freundliche und hilfreiche Personal der Rezeption!

Buena Opcion
Estuvimos hospedados 1 noche, en nuestra visita a Islandia, la habitacion estuvo bastante comoda, tranquila, con buena luz y temperatura, el desayuno estuvo variado y agradable, seguro volveremos alli, nos recomendaron un restaurante muy cerca, 60 metros, que se llama Reykjavik Kitchen, el cual nos gusto mucho!!!

Reykjavik a due passi
Ho dormito in questo hotel per due notti. La posizione è ottima e si raggiungono tutte le attrazioni di Reykjavik in pochi passi. La camera è nella media, non particolare abbondante, ma con una colazione molto varia.

Gut als Zwischenstopp
Wir waren dort zwei Nächte am Beginn unserer Reise. Zimmer etwas klein (nicht wirklich Platz für einen aufgeklappten Koffer, geschweige denn 2), Lage toll, mitten in der Stadt, Frühstück reichhaltig und vielfältig, Kaffee-Vollautomat, super! Parkplatzsuche nicht ganz einfach durch Einbahnstraßen.

Mediocre... Si salva solo la colazione!
Ho apprezzato la colazione, camera piccola e un buco per bagno. Abbiamo pagato tutto all'arrivo compreso il checkout posticipato fino alle 15,00. La cosa peggiore è che al checkout volevano farmi ripagare il late checkout... Meno male che avevo tenuto la ricevuta... Vergognoso!!!!

Hotel con camere lillipuziane e bagno imbarazzante. Il rifacimento camere giornaliero è approssimativo. Personale non reattivo. L'unico pregio è la posizione, alle spalle del centro con un piccolo parcheggio. Ho soggiornato in molti Fosshotel in Islanda, ma questo è sicuramente il peggiore.

Rien à recommander dans cet établissement qui est le dernier sur ma liste sur la vingtaine que je fréquente régulièrement. Personnel de réception peu aimable. Confort et taille des chambres mauvais. Un 2 étoiles médiocre. Le petit dej reste le seul avantage

Soggiornato due notti all'inizio e due notti alla fine del viaggio in Islanda. Molto buona e tranquilla la posizione per visitare il centro della città: comodo il parcheggio privato; la camere non sono grandi ma accettabili, sufficientemente funzionali e pulite; bagno un pò piccolino; doccia chiusa che non crea problemi; comodo il servizio cortesia in camera; ottima e varia la colazione a buffet continentale; Wi-Fi ottimo: personale alla reception cortese e disponibile; rapporto qualità-prezzo buono. Posizione vicinissima al centro.

Camera un pó piccola ma tutto sommato soddisfacente perché ha tutto ed è pulita.
Bagno piccolo e che si allaga un pó quando ci si fa la doccia, ma personalmente ho superato il problema.

Excelente trato.
Fuimos en Enero para ver la Aurora Boreal, conseguimos verlas en al tercer intento, la calidad de las instalaciones buenas, pero he de destacar el trato amable y atento del personal en general. El desayuno mejorable, pero suficiente.

Aceptable, pero no recomendable
Ubicación buena y cama cómoda. La recepcionista encantadora. Sin embargo darse una ducha es una experiencia terrible, no hay plato de ducha sino que la ducha es todo el baño, así que después de ducharse alguien está todo mojado. El area delimitada con cortina es pequeñísimo, te duchas con la cortina pegada al cuerpo todo el rato, horrible. Además el agua huele mucho a azufre, mucho más que en otros hoteles. La habitación doble std es muy pequeña, no hay hueco para colocar la maleta y tampoco para abrirla en el suelo. El desayuno poco variado y de muy mala calidad.

Bon rapport qualité/prix
Très bon accueil à notre arrivée. Les chambres sont propres et conforts. Je recommande vivement un passage dans cet hôtel.

Le seul point négatif: la salle de bain est correcte. Elle pourrait être rénovée pour être l'image de l'hôtel. Douche à l'italienne un peu sombre et odeur de souffre lié à l'eau chaude.

Tolle Lage, sehr zentral, freundliches Personal, Frühstück annehmbar. Dusche klein, Zimmer geräumig.
Der Schwefelgeruch des Warmwassers ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Ein ständiges summendes Geräusch nervt. War aber nicht so laut, dass der Schlaf gestört wurde.

El lugar se encuentra en una muy buena zona . El personal muy profesional y atento. Viajamos en familia y la pasamos de maravilla. de igual manera buen sitio para paso , negocios.

Ok, aber teuer
Da wir mit einer Gruppe dort waren, aber schon einen Tag eher angereist sind, haben wir dort privat eine Nacht dazu gebucht. Der Preis von 217€ war wirklich extrem hoch! Und das Frühstück hätte noch extra gekostet. Das Zimmer war nicht besser als in allen Guesthäusern, in denen wir vorher waren (nur viel teurer!) und die Dusche eine Zumutung! Für 150€ wäre es noch in Ordnung gewesen! Wir waren 3 Jahre vorher im Fosshotel Raudara gegenüber, was wir besser fanden!

Guter Start für Rundreise
Reibungslose Anmeldung mitten in der Nacht! Netter Empfang. Gute Lage. Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Aber für den Start der Island Rundreise würde ich es wieder buchen. Frühstück war ausreichend.

Ecológico.
Cada habitación está decorada diferente, para ello utiliza elementos de la naturaleza y muebles reciclados. habitaciones, informales y de estilo minimalista. Es muy cómodo. Su situación es muy centrica.

Hôtel basique à souhait. Vraiment rien d’extraordinaire. Propre mais un peu vieillot pour la décoration et les aménagements. Confort sans plus.

Parking gratuit disponible sinon on peut se garer devant l’hôtel places gratuites jusqu’à 9.00 am

L’hôtel est bien situé, et la chambre est neutre mais jolie et de bonne dimension. La salle de bains par contre est minuscule. Petit déjeuner ok, dans une salle en sous-sol tristounette. C’est pratique, mais sans charme.
