Good hotel in Cape Town city center
Location is ideal because it’s right in the heart of the city. Friendly staff by the reception and restaurant is good too. Large breakfast buffet with a lot of choice. The room was fine apart from the fact that the airco hardly did anything so it was quite hot. Bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the bath. We wanted to go to the Waterfront and used the hotels shuttle service. This was a very smart way to get to your destination and cheap as well. At one point our room key didn’t work anymore and staff were very helpful and resettled it right away. I do think the elevators need an update. They made weird noises and sometimes the doors didn’t shut properly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fountains Hotel. All the staff members were friendly and warm. The location is excellent, the dining is good and one receives value for money.

Horrible experiencia
We booked in advance the rooms and when we arrived at the hotel (11.30pm) they told us that we were going to share a room with other 2 couples. We went to the room and it only had 1 bathroom for 6 people. After arguing that we booked separate rooms they made us wait until 2.30am to find a new room. The new room didn’t have electricity and the next day they changed us again to another room in which the water did not flow in the shower and sink. Terrible experience! And the staff was slow and not efficient at all. Never coming back

Pathetic
After having booked a room 2 months in advance, we were made to wait for our room for 1.5 hours at the reception. Then they said they would upgrade us to a suite , 3 bhk apartment but we ll have to share room with another family. Absolutely ridiculous. We refused and they made us wait for longer time only to be given a room with no charging sockets ( all plugs points for charger were removed ) no AC remote so can't use , no curtains no safe vault and ants all over the desk. Could not sleep all night as street lights coming in as no curtains. The room was so tiny that once u place ur bags, you can't even walk. The room was meant for a wheelchair patient. They did change the room the next day, which was better but welcomed with torn towels. I mean ... what kinda experience am I going to take back ? Besides, the elevator takes forever to come to your floor. Keep waiting !! Only good thing about this hotel is the cooperative staff. They were very helpful.

A standout feature for my guests was the delectable buffet breakfast offered by the hotel. The variety and quality of the breakfast options left a positive impression, contributing to their overall contentment during the stay. The hotel's attention to culinary excellence added an extra layer of enjoyment to their mornings.

Additionally, I appreciated the hotel's commitment to security. We were utilizing a minibus with a trailer that could not fit in the under-parking of the hotel. the hotel's security measures ensured the safety of both the vehicle and trailer during the night. This proactive approach to safeguarding the vehicle and trailer contributed to a sense of security and peace of mind throughout our stay.

Très bonne adresse.
Personnels très accueillants et sympathiques. Au TOP. L'hôtel est très bien situé en plein centre ville. Pas de nuisance. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits et le ménage est impeccable. Le petit déjeuner est très correct et copieux, le pain perdu est extra !

Recepción rápida y eficaz, el servicio es bastante lento, aunque son muy amables, la limpieza deja mucho que desear, fuera de que necesita una buena reforma los baños no están muy limpios, la bañera y esquinas del lavabo tienen zonas con moho, cosa bastante desagradable, y al llegar de todo el día en la calle nos encontramos un paquete en el water. La ropa de cama estaba limpia pero ya roída de tanto lavarla y rota por los bajos. La situación del hotel es buena y céntrica.

Mauvaise organisation
Malgré le nombre de personnel, tres mauvaise organisation et tenue de cet hôtel. A l’arrivée, près d’1 heure pour récupérer sa clé. En cours de séjour, nous avons eu la désagréable surprise de ne pouvoir accéder à notre chambre au retour d’excursion. Nous avions été purement et simplement déconnectés! Retour à la réception qui a mis plusieurs dizaines de minutes pour nous reconnecter. Énervant. La fenêtre de notre chambre donnait sur un mur nu. La clim n’a jamais fonctionné (un ventilateur nous a été prêté). Les ascenseurs sont vite pleins aux heures de pointe, d’autant que l’un d’eux ne fonctionnait pas. La piscine est petite et ne donne pas envie. Seule la nourriture aux breakfast et aux dîner n’est pas mauvaise. Bref, beaucoup de choses a revoir.

Hyper déçu(s)
Même si bien situé dans Cap Town, nous sommes restés 4 jours au lieu de 2 dans cet hôtel (suite problèmes aériens).
Chambres assez bruyantes, certains amis ont demandé à changer, personnel plus ou moins à votre disposition. Exemple, il a fallu faire sitting durant 45 minutes à l'accueil et après 4 relances en 48h pour obtenir un sèche-cheveux ! Côté cuisine je n'ose pas évoquer les 4 diners-buffet tellement ce n'était pas bon contrairement aux petits déjeuners où il n'y a rien à dire. Cerise sur le gâteau, grosse panne électrique durant 6h suite délestage de la Centrale Nucléaire (ce serait assez fréquent en Afrique du Sud)... bref je me suis retrouvée seule dans le noir total, au moment où à 3 secondes près, j'appelais l'ascenseur ! Aucun balisage de secours dans les couloirs (sauf l'escalier) pour retourner à la chambre sise à perpette pour récupérer téléphone et lampe frontale. Sacrée expérience même si les apparences de l’hôtel paraissent chaleureuses.

Nul sauvez vous !
Pas d’eau chaude dans les salles de bain
Je dit bien les salles de bains puisque nous sommes un groupe de 40 personnes en comité d’entreprise !!!
Les fenêtres ne ferme pas !

Bref hôtel très très vieillissant, fouillez ce lieu

La nourriture est correcte mais ne suffit en rien à l’état catastrophique du lieu

En centre ville ok mais il y en a plein d’autres

Coeur de ville
Hotel avec vue sur la montagne. Pas mal, piscine presque dans la rue toute en longueur. Presque une piscine pour les pigeons. Donne pas envie. Mais bien comme point d attache pour faire les excursions

Kann man machen - muss man aber nicht
Um es vorweg zu nehmen - es war billig. Mit unter 90 Euro für ein Doppelzimmer mit Frühstück mitten in Kapstadt kann man nicht meckern. Das Zimmer war klein und dunkel, abgewohnt und nicht wirklich sauber. Klimaanlage ein lauter Kasten. Macht mehr laut als kalt. Fenstergriffe abgerissen. Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße und ist sehr laut. Das Frühstück ist unspektakulär aber OK. Tiefgarage für alles über Polo Größe schwierig. Personal ist durchweg freundlich. Die Lage ist kritisch. Ein Überfall direkt neben der Terrasse am helllichten Tag. Also mal für ne Nacht OK. Alles andere würde ich mir überlegen.

Mai successo che in hotel a 4 stelle il frigo fosse vuoto abbiamo chiesto acqua alla reception non siamo riusciti ad averla . Nel bagno acqua non calda e neanche una cuffia, la cosa più grave però due letti separati camera molto piccola e assenza quasi totale di spine per ricaricare. Chiaramente pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo,

Sotto la media best western
Conoscendo la catena perché ho già soggiornato in passato in un best western mi aspettavo un certo std che non ho trovato. Pulizia ai limiti della sufficienza bagno un po' datato. Colazione con poca scelta e non ottima la qualità. Garage a pagamento anche se economico. Tra le note positive il letto king size e comodissimo. La posizione centralissima a circa 1.5 km dal v&a waterfront e vicino al centro. Oltre alla vista molto bella sulla piazza e su parte della Table Mountain.

Muy buen lugar

Buen hotel con buena ubicación
El hotel posee habitaciones amplias (me hospede solo y me dieron dos camas de una plaza y media), algunas con vista a la avenida Adderley y otras al contrafrente, pero no con peor vista por eso.
Lo considero ideal para descansar ya que la habitación es cómoda, tiene disponibles variedad de tés y cafés, con pava eléctrica y son muy silenciosas en su interior.
Las camas son cómodas, las cortinas cubren bien la luz del exterior y el mobiliario es moderno.
El desayuno es abundante y con gran variedad de comidas y bebidas.
Todo el personal del hotel es muy amable.
El servicio de wifi suele cortarse un poco, de acuerdo a la habitación en que uno se hospede, pero funciona bien en líneas generales.
La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, a pocos metros de Adderley Station, y a 15 o 20 minutos caminando del Waterfront.
El servicio de cena tiene opción de bufete libre o menú a la carta, con buena variedad y calidad de comida.
Lo recomiendo para una estadía en Ciudad del Cabo, sin el lujo de un 5 estrellas, que no lo consideraba necesario para mis vacaciones.

Decepcionante
Hotel realmente decepcionante!!
Habitaciones pequeñas y con muchísimo ruido externo, imposible dormir.
No hay ni una botella de agua en las habitaciones y si llegas al hotel cuando el restaurante está cerrado en recepción o te dan agua, hay que ir a buscarlo a alguna tienda.
Desayunos y cenas muy básicas y repetidas, no hay variación!
Hotel nada recomendable.
