Ubicación inmejorable en el casco antiguo
Excelente ubicación en Getsemaní, cerca de las calles más coloridas, instagrameables y excelentes lugares para comer, tomar y ver gente de todo el mundo. Habitaciones súper cómodas. Servicio de desayuno buffet básico pero cumplidor para la tarifa. Tiene una piscina linda y limpia en el roof top. Sólo le falta que brinden botellas de agua como cortesía.

Un hotel lindo
Buena ubicación, habitaciones muy grandes, el jardín esta super lindo, techo con bar y piscina. El desayuno viene en forma de bufete, me gustó también. Vuelvo a la armería real varias veces cada año y siempre me siento a hogar y muy relajado.

Okay hotel but I would not book again
The hotel was clean and in very good location and set around a nice courtyard which is why I give it 3 stars.

However, I would never have booked this hotel if it had been clear that I would get a dark room with no window which I did not like at all, I told the front desk twice that I did not like the room but nobody seemed to care. I was not even given chance to upgrade (I don't think i should have had to upgrade to get a window, it was not a cheap hotel)

I did not find the staff at all friendly, especially at front desk.
On my last day, I could not believe when the room maid walked in and was going to start cleaning the room although I was still getting dressed and ready!
This was over an hour before check out time.

I would not book this hotel again, I think there are many better options at lower prices and with friendlier staff.

Excellent et très bien situe
L'Armeria real est excellent , très bien placé pour visiter Carthagene a pied et avec de très bonnes prestations. Les chambre sont grandes avec un lit king size de 200 , belle salle de bains et il est très bien insonorisées . Le patio est magnifique et la piscine domine la ville avec une très belle vue. Le restaurant est aussi très bien et le petit déjeuner a volonté est très complet . Excellente adresse , mais gamme de prix un peu haute.

Tiene potencial pero le falta un plus
El Hotel está muy bien situado y tiene potencial pero es muy caótico.
El restaurante para el desayuno no tiene capacidad para todos los huéspedes y se satura.
Si no pides que te hagan la habitación lo obvian y cuando regresas te ka encuentras sin hacer.
No entregan la habitación hasta las 3 de la tarde a pesar de que tengan disponibilidad para ello.
Le falta mantenimiento en general.
También le falta atención al cliente.

Lamentamos mucho no haber cumplido con sus expectativas durante su estadía con nosotros, desafortunadamente no contábamos con la habitacion disponible al momento de su llegada (12:00 del medio día) puesto que de haberlo estado se le hubiera dado ingreso de manera inmediata sin costo adicional como lo hemos hecho con varios de nuestros huéspedes; realizaremos el análisis de lo expuesto con relacion al servicio de restaurante y limpieza para tomar los correctivos necesarios y que situaciones como esas no vuelvan a presentarse.

Estadía en Cartagena
El personal siempre estuvo muy atento, Eduardo y Nelson nos hicieron pasar una gran estadía en el Armería. La terraza es amplia, vista de hermosos atardeceres y la pileta es mperdible, las pastas con prsto también. La cerveza artesanal ipa es muy recomendable.

Superbe
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet établissement. Le personnel est à l'écoute, très agréable, petit déjeuner très bon dans un cadre enchanteur. Les chambres sont très spacieuses. La piscine est très agréable, un vrai plus dans cette ville où la chaleur peut être assomante.

A beautiful, stylish hotel with soundproof windows
Loved the hotel and the fact that it had soundproof windows. Cartagena has a big party scene and it can be noisy at night. But the hotel is a quiet oasis, stylish and very clean, with a beautiful rooftop terrace and pool. The only minor blemish for me was the weak coffee for breakfast. Colombia had such great coffee wherever I went, but, somehow, not there.

Looks good, some bad rooms, front desk staff attitude, can’t recommend
If you book a standard room you may get one dark, ugly, at street level or very small, in any case nowhere near a five stars hotel room. According to management it’s because of the category we booked….so beware.
Now, if you dare asking for another one, you get a bad front desk staff attitude, which is totally unacceptable, and an offer to pay 50$ more a night. We accepted the initial one which at least was large.
Bad attitude at check out too. Denied 1/2h late check out, understandable if they are busy but banging at your door before check out time is unacceptable.
They also entertain large groups of cruise ships passengers who swarmed the whole place at different times of the day, quite unusual.
Pushy concierge at check in was an immediate turn off .
Besides room and front desk staff it is a nice hotel with good location and a small pool with beautiful views. Breakfast was good. The place was generally clean and quiet.
There are a lot of good restaurants around .
There is a good travel agency a few minutes from the hotel.
Looks like the side effect of mass tourism in Cartagena, so go somewhere else!

We appreciate having taken part of his time to answer our satisfaction survey which is of vital importance for our continuous improvement; We have carried out the traceability of each of the points mentioned in our survey and it is evident that the rooms you observed correspond to the category of reserved rooms, unfortunately we did not have availability of rooms on the third floor so they were assigned to the first , the reception staff told you that you had to wait two hours since you arrived before the check in time of 03:00 pm and the rooms were not yet available, the bellman was always ready to show you the rooms (3 rooms) so that This way you will determine which one to stay with, it should be noted that the rooms shown were of the same category that you reserved. You were told that if you required a higher category room you would have to pay an extra amount to which you indicated that you would not.
As for the concierge who invaded them offering the tours, the necessary corrective measures will be taken so that this type of situation does not arise again.
Our check out time is at 12:00 noon and we have always been willing to grant late check out at no cost until 2:00 p.m. as long as our occupancy allows it. On the day of your departure we had high occupancy in the Hotel.
Once again we offer excuses for the uncomfortable moments you may have experienced during your stay at the Hotel.

El personal de recepcion, botones, personal de ama de llaves y el personal de restaurante TODOS, todos fueron muy amables, atentos y carismáticos, atentos a cada detalle, una mención especial a Karen quien trabaja en el Dpto de Reservaciones, desde que realizamos nuestra reserva estuvimos en contacto y estuvo pendiente a nosotros de principio a fin. Beutiful place but far from 5 stars
Beautiful setting and good location, however needs vetter housekeeping. We did not expect 5 stars, as we researched in advance, however at this proce point, the housekeeping should be better. A lot of the rooms have windows only facing the garden. This means you have to have the shutters closed or no privacy, so no daylight. Rooms are HUGE; and the AC is great. Hot water was available al three days. The front desk staff was really nice and helpful. You can walk anywhere, location is super convenient. Taxis are easily available, and the front desk staff can assist with bookings

Work in Progress
I would classify the Ameria Real Hotel in Cartagena as a reasonably nice work in progress. It is currently trying to live up to the superb hotels within the walls of old town Cartagena, but it falls short in several ways.

First, the good: the service of those who work in the hotel is great. There was no tea option for the breakfast buffet the first day we were there and we just casually mentioned it. The next morning they had tea. The room that they first put us in had fleas in the bed (it happens in the region sometimes), and they immediately upgraded our room and laundered our clothes for free. The rooftop pool and sundeck are wonderfully relaxing and a great place to watch the sunset. The location, in the hipster, more local feeling neighborhood of Getsemani, is convenient.

Second, the mediocre: the first room that they put us in was quite sad (peeling paint, light bulbs falling from the recessed lighting, dark and dank feeling, a bit dirty in places). We are the type to not complain, but we had to move when we were bitten by fleas in the bed. The second room was better, with a balcony. The balcony had a table and no chairs, which was odd, but okay. The room was cleaned each day (we stayed 6 nights), but the body wash was never replaced, the shampoo was replaced sometimes (even when we had used the previous bottle up), and the dirty towels on the ground were just folded up to use again. The hotel also could use an interior designer to help them out with some curtains or at least a picture on the wall. The breakfast buffet is fine, but nothing to write home about. The concierge was helpful, but kept trying to sell us day trips when we just wanted a nice beach that was off the beaten path.

In the end, it was an okay stay - the staff really did make the difference. The hotel is currently undergoing some minor construction, so maybe they are working on revamping the rooms and it will be much better in some months.

Schlechter Service / Schimmel im Zimmer
Eigentlich hätte ich 1 Punkt von 5 Punkten vergeben, aber der schöne Innenhof und die tolle Dachterasse haben den zweiten Punkt gut gemacht. Auf vorherige Anfrage für ein ruhiges Zimmer mit Fenster wurde uns ein Zimmer ohne Fenster zugewiesen. Nach Reklamation versprach man uns ein Zimmer mit Fenster mit Wartezeit, da die Reinigung noch erfolgen muss. Nach über 1 stündiger Wartezeit mussten wir uns selbst in Erinnerung rufen, um dann zu hören man hätte uns vergessen und vergab dann ein Zimmer an uns ohne Fenster mit moderigen Schimmelgeruch, der von der verschimmelten Decke stammte. Aufgrund der vorangeschrittenen Zeit nahmen wir das Stonierungsangebot nicht mehr an, sondern akzeptierten die 15% Preisreduzierung. Uns steckt der Ärger und insbesondere die schlechte Behandlung noch in den Knochen. Wir können das Hotel aufgrund der schlechten Behandlung nicht empfehlen !

Une perle
Tout y est "Bon"..La situation (traversez le quartier Getsemani pour aller au centre historique), la chambre, le petit déjeuner, le service, le rooftop(avec vue sur le château San Felipe et la marina).
On a juste envie d'y retourner.

Wegen der überwiegend guten Bewertungen habe ich auf meiner Geschäftsreise in Cartagena dieses Hotel für 5 gewählt. Ich musste täglich mehrere Stunden in meinem Zimmer meine geschäftliche Korrespondenz erledigen. Leider wurde dort mindestens 3 Stunden pro Tag gejammert und gebohrt, auf meine Beschwerde hin sagte man mir, man sei gleich fertig! Bei der Abreise sagte ich dem Geschäftsführer ich würde dafür einen Preisnachlass erbitten, woraufhin mir dieser mitteilte dass müsse er in den Statuten prüfen ob es möglich sei! Das sagte er mit einem Lächeln so dass ich mich nicht ernst genommen fühlte, geschehen ist bisher, 1 Woche später nichts! Ich sagte man solle doch solche Arbeiten in der Nebensaison ausführen, er sagte dass es die nicht gäbe da das Hotel immer ausgebucht ist! Positiv erwähnen mochte ich das tolle Frühstücksbüffet, aber Kunden wie mich braucht man scheinbar nicht.

Parfait
Hotel de charme , très propre et très bien équipé , chambre spacieuse et très confortable ,personnel attentif et professionnel , situé dans un quartier très agréable et sécurisé avec de nombreux restaurants et bars.

A 5 minutes à pied du centre historique à dix minutes en taxi de la plage( 10000 pesos). Bon compromis plage et histoire de la ville.

Niemals 5 Sterne
Wir verbrachten 8 Nächte hier und die anfängliche Begeisterung wurde immer mehr zu Frustration:
1. Niemals Zimmer 216 annehmen, das obere Zimmer in diesem Raum mit zwei Etagen hat kein Fenster und kann nicht gelüftet werden.
2. somit ist die Decke im Badezimmer (keine Lüftung vorhanden und das Fensterchen kann nicht geöffnet werden) voller Schimmel, welcher einfach übermalen wird! Dementsprechend riecht es auch! Sehr gesund!
3. das Zimmer ist direkt unter der Bar und man hört die ganze Nacht, wie die Stühle der Bar umher geschoben werden! Man kann nicht schlafen!!!
4. eine Dusche gibt es nur in der oberen Etage. Der Eingang in die ist extrem eng, da die Logik der Tuchhalterung hier wieder einmal nach Logik der Kolumbianer angebracht wurde.
Dieses Zimmer ist echt nicht zu empfehlen!! Die anderen Zimmer kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Allgemein ist die Hotelanlage gepflegt und schön. Das Frühstücksbüffet bietet für alle etwas. Der Service ist extrem Personenabhängig - oft sind die Angestellten nicht sehr motiviert Kunden zu bedienen.
Macht euch in der schönen Dachbar darauf gefasst, dass wenn eine Woche lang das gleiche Getränk bestellt, dieses von jeder Person anders gemixt wird. Dies obwohl sie eine Beschreibung der Zutaten vorliegen haben. Unglaublich!
Die Zimmermädchen machen zum Teil einen guten Job und zum Teil auch nicht. Am ersten Tag hatten wir Wasser auf dem Zimmer, dann wieder nicht mehr und einmal haben wir wieder eine Flasche (waren drei Personen) erhalten = Logik? Nicht erkennbar!

Nie und nimmer 5 Sterne - maximal 2-3!

Bellissimo hotel
La struttura è molto bella a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro storico e vicinissimo ai ristoranti nel Getsemani. la nostra camera era bella e spaziosa senza finestra cosi non si è sentito alcun rumore dalla strada. La colazione molto buona e varia, si può mangiare anche nel cortile interno. La piscina sulla terrazza offre una bella vista e ci si può passare qualche ora considerato il caldo di cartagena. Unico difetto è che nella camera non c'è wifi...almeno nella mia non ho avuto mai segnale. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel

OTTIMA SCELTA
Salve ho passato 3 notti in questo albergo posizione ottima,colazione all' americana camera grande e silenziosa,
nelle vicinanze ci sono molti locali e ristoranti per uscire la sera con molta tranquillita'
l unica cosa negativa internet in camera funzionava poco
ma questo non era un problema,
inoltre la piscina ha una vista bellissima

Fantastico!!
Questo hotel si trova in un tipico palazzo coloniale a meno di 10 minuti a piedi dal centro storico di Cartagena: le camere sono spaziose, molto pulite e dotate di ogni comfort. Il bar e la piscina all'ultimo piano hanno una vista mozzafiato sulla città moderna.

Stupendo hotel caratteristico in una posizione ottima
Finalmente dopo tanti posti che ci hanno deluso come comodità, siamo approdati in questo hotel stupendo! Camera bellissima, con anticamera di ingresso, spaziosa, tutti i comfort! Personale preparatissimo è disponibile, siamo stati molto bene! Solo un po’ impersonale rispetto alle case coloniali con poche stanze di cartagena, ma ottimo! Siamo stati mandati qui dalla signora di Casa Santa Ana, che non ha potuto ospitarci per via di un disguido imprevisto, ci ha accolto nel suo salotto meraviglioso e poi ci ha fatti accompagnare all’armeria. La ringraziamo per questo e semmai torneremo a cartagena andremo di certo a trovarla!

Incantevole struttura coloniale
Bellissima struttura coloniale a due passi dalla città murata. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Personale super cortese al di sopra delle aspettative. Uniche cose che migliorerei sono: wi-fi (ero a Cartagena per lavoro e la rete in Hotel e soprattutto in stanza era scarsissima) e colazione con poca scelta. Giustizio comunque positivo e ci tornerei.

Badehose vom Balkon verschwunden..... Servicemitarbeiter eher unwillig. Preis/Leistung passt hier nicht. Schönes Pool, aber bis in die Morgenstunden laute Musik vom Nachbarlokal. Zimmer im Erdgeschoss sehen sehr dunkel aus.
Laundryservice absolut zu teuer!

We regret a lot of what happened with your Swimsuit, as we mentioned the day that happened, it is not advisable to leave clothes on the balcony due the wind flies the clothes to the street, our staff went out to look for it as soon as we told what happened, but we could not find it. The ideal thing is to dry the clothes on the string inside the bathroom... We truly regret it.

Regarding the service, we appreciate your comments, we will definitely share your perception with the team and we will do what is necessary to improve every day in that sense. Lage!
Die Lage ist super.
Das Hotel Innenhof ist wunderschön.
Service & Qualität ist abhängig von Mitarbeiter und Lust zu bedienen.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit 2 Schlafräumen, sehr gut dekoriert und sehr großzügig, aber extrem dunkel, selbst mit Licht könnte man nichts sehen, das war sehr unangenehm, das obere Schlafzimmer könnte nicht belüftet werden!
Frühstück normal, wir sind lieber zum frühstücken ausgegangen.
Die Bar an der Dach-Terrasse war nicht gut, nur ein Mitarbeiter war sehr zuvor kommen und nett. Pool ist ok.
Die Lage ist super, alles zu Fuß erreichbar, wir fühlten uns sehr sicher.
Wenn sie nach 23:00 Uhr zum Hotel kommen, müssen sie klingen und warten das jemand aufmacht.
