It’s clean - good location but could have better service
This hotel is in a lovely location and I was very lucky to have a nice clean and well presented room.

The hotel was always being cleaned
I have to say, that I felt like the staff didn’t like the English. Came across rude at times and not welcoming. Perhaps I am being sensitive but it wasn’t a great experience.

The pool area was clean and the beach was lovely.

The restaurant food was good but the drinks were unbranded and just flat. The wine had more water it than anything else.

The hotel location is just by a main road and 5 minutes from the beach. The hotel has its own beach entrance which is lovely

Excellent week away.
Excellent hotel in wonderful location. Plenty of sunbeds but also the beach just few steps away which leads to the coastal path. Very pretty. Lovely terraces with ample seating so you could look out to sea and relax. Best wifi we have had in years. Our room was large with spacious balcony. Not with a sea view and the reason we did not upgrade was that we like the afternoon sun when we return from our day out. We don't hang around the hotel all day. Perfect for us. Loved the food. Hot and cold tapa's - so interesting. Plenty of fish and other choices not to mention the absolutely beautifully presented desserts .The only negative....the 10am check out. Did not like this. The corridors noisy at times but this is the nature of the building. We always take earplugs.
We have stayed at this resort before but much preferred the location of this hotel. We did two coastal walks and visited Palamos. The bus service is not good. Perhaps the time of year(?) We were without a car on this occasion. The Jet2 transfer was a slick operation via mini bus. Girona airport a breeze after the likes of Malaga and Alicante.
To conclude, we would recommend and return.

Perfecto para vacaciones!

Nettoyer les terrasses
Nous venons de passer 4 jours au caleta palace, cela fait 3 ans que nous venons. Toujours autant bruyant c'est dommage d'ailleurs, nous prenons chambre vue sur mer, Super, petit bémol notre terrasse n'a pas vue le balai n'y la serpierre depuis l'année dernière dommage pour un 4 étoiles, faite un petit effort. Si non nous on adore cet hôtel pour la vue. Chambre 209 du 18 juin au 22 juin.

Acabo de pasar tres días en este hotel. Ya he estado en otras dos ocasiones, mis expectativas han sido mejores de lo esperado. Ya cuando hice el check in dije al chico de recepción (muy agradable por cierto) que no había podido reservar una habitación online individual con vistas al mar y cual fue mi sorpresa cuando me dijo que por cortesía del hotel me ofrecían una habitación individual con vista al mar, una habitación sencilla pero con unas fantásticas vistas a la cala. Agradecimiento en general a todos los trabajadores y en especial a los chicos del chiringuito que han hecho que estos tres días sean fantásticos. Ya estoy pensando en volver el año que viene y más días!! La comida variada y buena, los arroces que hacen al momento son espectaculares de sabor,
Como sugerencia indicar que no estaría mal que pongan en el hotel una máquina de cafés, ya que si te despiertas temprano tienes que ir al bar de en frente del hotel a por un café.

Hôtel idéalement bien placé entre centre ville et en contre bas de la piscine un accès direct à une magnifique plage, l’accueil à la réception et correct une personne qui parler français nous a tout expliqué,, piscine et jardin propre rien à dire c’est top , les cocktails au bar sont très bon et le personnel et sympathique, , le petit déjeuner de l’hôtel franchement c’est bien on a le choix de s’installer dehors ou dedans pour apprécier un buffet bien variés il y a vraiment de tout pour tout les goût et c’est bon … pour ce garer il y a des places gratuites en face de l’hôtel dans les rue donc17 euros par jours laisser tombé suffit de tiré sa valise 300 mettre,
Maintenant les points négatifs sont les chambres la nôtre étend la N 22 !!! C’est vraiment pas terrible, pas de frigo , couvre lit taché , lunettes de wc la fixations ne tient plus d’un côté, la poire de douche et à changer car les gets sont pris par le calcaire donc mauvaise pression pour ce laver ainsi que ça fixation murale dommage que se soit un peut vétuste dans les chambres et que la propreté soit limite parce que contrairement mise à part ça l’hôtel et bien , peut être que se sont des détails à revoir spécialement sur cette chambre et non sur l’ensemble des chambres,,, et au niveau de l’insonorisation ben c’est comme 80% des hôtels de la Costa Brava…. Mais bon on le sait nous c’est pas ce qui nous a le plus gêné, donc finalité à refaire avec une chambre de meilleure qualité .

Super!!!
Todo genial!!! La atención de la recepción es de un hotel de 5 estrellas. La limpieza en las habitaciones y e áreas públicas impecable. El hotel tiene una perfecta ubicación con el acceso directo a la playa y la cala es preciosa. Las vistas desde las habitaciones son una pasada.

Hôtel bien placé les chambre vue mer sont très bien grande chambre propre Vétuste pour portes et placard et qu’il est moderne,un parking très cher, 10 minutes à pied du centre, le restaurant est à éviter très mauvaise nourriture, petit déjeuner moyen

Toutefois, nous regrettons que certains aspects n'aient pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Concernant l'entretien des portes et placards, sachez que nous faisons des améliorations chaque année et veillons constamment à la maintenance de nos équipements. Pour le parking, nous proposons un service pratique malgré un coût supplémentaire, qui assure la tranquillité d'esprit de nos hôtes quant à la sécurité de leur véhicule. Nous sommes désolés que notre offre culinaire n'ait pas su répondre à vos préférences et sommes surpris concernant le petit déjeuner, car nous offrons un buffet varié avec des produits de qualité sélectionnés avec soin.

Had a great holiday

Not great. Rules are very strange
This place lets itself down badly on rules.

The pool:
Unable to use inflatables - i seen a young girl clearly who could not swim and her dad was pushing her in an inflatable. They were told they could not use it.

Unable to wear a t shirt! I was told I could not wear a t shirt in the pool, I asked why? Lifeguard pointed to the board. I tell him that’s a board it’s not an explanation. Thankfully Jet2 intervened and the rep sorted it so I could use the pool in a t shirt which when with a group of people I didn’t not feel comfortable just in shorts - thankfully resolved that issue

No tables at sunbeds, therefore floor becomes sticky when drinks are spilled

The restaurant:
You are guided to an area you must sit in, if you asked to sit in a specific area expect to be told no

Drinks, despite being all inclusive and a waiter having a trolley with bottles of wine and water. You won’t get given one unless you are on a French package. The English have to queue at the bar to get these and other drinks

The queue to get in, not ideal. Takes too long to get people in which creates delays

Aside of that…
The guests…. This hotel seems to welcome groups of school children, no issue there, they are paying guests however it is advertised as a family hotel. The noise these students made around the pool, pushing in queues at meal times and then parties in their room added to the frustrations.

I spoke to reception about the party next door to use which was waking my children and asked them to get the teachers on the trip to intervene. Reception said they would… they didn’t. Another guest went and complained about the same issue and then it was dealt with.

Location was good for walking into central areas. Biggest tip from me… if staying here don’t do all inclusive

Lovely hotel with fantastic views
20th - 27th May 2024. Lovely hotel - very good for the price. We had Half Board, Deluxe, Twin Sea View - Room 312 its was great, very large, twin beds more like queen beds and a fantastic view. and it was very clean and lovely cleaning staff who always said holo. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The maintenance work at the pool in the early mornings surely should have been carried out 'out of season'?, but you know what, we were on holiday and just ignored it and kept on sunbathing. But, 9 paraols between 50-100 sun loungers is stretching it a bit! The reception staff were extremely helpful 28 euros for a safe key and 10E deposit (a bit steep), 10E deposit for beach towles and a kettle. The restaurant staff under the guide of Ceasar were excellent, it was very busy and they were all working extremely hard at a fast pace - well done. Overall it was a very relaxing, enjoyable holiday at this hotel.

Hôtel agréable
Séjour d’une semaine en avril. La chambre est correcte avec pour nous 2 grands lits de 140 ! Nous avons bénéficié d’une vue sur mer. La restauration est moyenne, manque de thèmes et peu de variété. Belle promenade à faire quand vous êtes sur la plage, prendre le chemin des douaniers, d’où vous aurez de superbes panoramas ! La ville est animée et les magasins ne manquent pas !

Entspannter Urlaub
Ich habe einen 7 Tage Solo Urlaubstrip gemaht und entschied mich für Platja D' Aro,
Costa Brava, Spanien. Das H Top Caleta Palace Hotel war in einer angenehmen Ortslage, mit guten Busverbindungen. Das Personal war superfreundlich und überaus professionell, sofort hilfsbereit und auch sonst bei allen Anliegen zur Stelle. Das Zimmer war ordentlich und recht gemütlich. Die Lage am Meer, mit allen Stränden und Buchten war traumhaft. Ich kann es jedem weiterempfehlen, der einfach nur mal abschalten möchte. Es gibt viel zu sehen: Von Restaurants mit kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten, zu historischen Schlössern und Kirchen, sowie interessanten Hafenstädten in der Umgebung. Für jeden ist etwas dabei.

Tolle Lage vom Hotel, sauber und freundlich. Immer wieder. Essen ist gut, alles frisch gemacht für jeden was dabei gewesen. Große Promenade und Einkaufsstraße. Man kann Ausflüge nach Palamós oder Girona machen.

Enttäuschend !!!
Wir haben das Hotel im Mai 2017 für fünf Tage gebucht und waren letzten Endes nicht glücklich, dieses Hotel gewählt zu haben. Vorab muss ich erwähnen, dass ich dem Hotel eine Mail geschrieben habe, mit der Bitte um ein schönes Zimmer mit Aussicht, da wir unser fünf jähriges feierten. Es gab keinerlei Antwort !!! Allein dieser "Service" macht schon einen schlechten Eindruck, bevor man überhaupt die Koffer packt. Von einer Hotelkette erwartet man wenigstens ein: "vielen Dank für Ihre E-Mail, wir versuchen unser Bestmögliches..." oder aber auch "...dafür wird ein Aufpreis berechnet von...", aber ich habe leider NICHTS erhalten.

Check In:
- Schlange an der Rezeption, die Rezeptionisten schienen damit überfordert
- Zimmer um 13 Uhr noch nicht fertig
- keine Informationen über das Hotel erhalten, lediglich die Öffnungszeiten des
Speisesaals

Zimmer:
- ABSOLUTE Katastrophe
- Zimmer befand sich in der letzten verwinkelten Ecke des Flures (EG) und war sehr
einengend und dunkel
- Möbel waren sehr unpraktisch gestellt, dadurch war das Zimmer noch beengender
- Beim Umstellen des Sideboards ( welches vor dem Bettende stand und man
gerade
mal so zum Balkon laufen konnte) fanden wir Staub und Haare
- Zimmer schien sehr veraltet und verbraucht
- Balkontür war defekt, sie blieb nicht offen
- Blick vom Balkon: Sperrmüll
- der angebohrte Türstopper im Boden -> hohe Stolpergefahr
- Schimmel an der Decke im Bad
- Gummidichtungen pörös
- Spiegel sehr schmierig
- Beim Einschalten der Klimaanlage kamen schwarze Krümel heraus
- Kein Wechsel der Bettwäsche obwohl verschmutzt. Es wurde einfach nur
umgedreht

Service:
- Der Speisesaal erinnert durch die Geräuschkulisse eher an einer Markthalle
- Am Eingang hat man zu warten um von einem " Kellner" an einem Tisch verwiesen
zu werden, dieser platziert einen aber nur, denn die Getränke muss man sich
selbst holen und dann ist der Platz auch wieder vergeben, wenn man ihn nicht mit
einem Gegenstand "reserviert" Was hat das also für einen Sinn?
- Es gibt NUR eine Getränkebar in dem Speisesaal mit einem Kellner für 300
Zimmer? Wartezeiten sind vorprogrammiert
- Essen war OK, leider nicht warm

Pool:
- Hervorzuheben ist die großartige Lage und Aussicht
- leider fanden wir dort auch "oben rum" nicht bekleidete Badegäste, was wir als
sehr unpassend empfanden

Das einzige was uns erfreute, war der Ausblick vom Pool und NICHT vom Zimmer.
Unseren Kurztripp zu unserem fünf jährigen Jubiläum haben wir uns anders vorgstellt.
Bitte lesen Sie unsere Einrichtung, wir bedauern, dass der Aufenthalt nach seinem Geschmack nicht ganz war, nicht verstehen, was mit Ihrer E-Mail geschehen konnte so getreu alle E-Mails, die uns von Kunden geschickt beantworten, außer für diejenigen, die cuandoe Hotel schicken es ist von November bis April geschlossen.
In Bezug auf das Zimmer, wenn ein Kunde nicht zufrieden mit dem Zimmer von der Rezeption ist ein anderes Zimmer vorschlagen, wenn es vorhanden. Der Meerblick kostet zusätzlich 30 € pro .Tag für alle unsere Kunden und Sie an der Rezeption jederzeit bezahlen können.

Struttura anni 70 in riva al mare
Si trova nel punto migliore di Platja D'Aro, almeno per il mare!
La struttura un pò datata e un po "casermone" ma ha l'accesso al mare in un punto meraviglioso! La camera che dichiara la vetustità della struttura e la pulizia non al massimo!
Dotato di piscina e campo da tennis con personale accogliente.
Abbiamo optato per la mezza pensione, il servizio è a buffet.
Il primo giorno abbiamo potuto scegliere tra riso al nero di seppia, moscardini fritti, soutè di cozze, pesce ai ferri, tutto buono. Il secondo giorno l'albergo era molto pieno e ciò ha comportato un fila di almeno 20 minuti per accedere alla sala, e le scelte erano su piatti un po' più "poveri ". La colazione non brilla per qualità, i cornetti sono alquanto insipidi, forse per gli anglosassoni c'era tutto ciò che a loro piace.

Hotel con ottima posizione
L'hotel ha una posizione fantastica, con una meravigliosa vista mare. Dotato di piscina. Camere ampie, arredate con l'essenziale ma complete.
Alcune pecche: il Wi-Fi a pagamento e la cucina abbondante ma non ottima dal punto di vista qualitativo.

Bella posizione ma cibo pessimo
L'hotel si trova sulla spiaggia che è veramente molto bella con un mare limpidissimo, e, inoltre, è vicinissimo alla via commerciale del paese. Lo staff è stato sempre gentile e accogliente, l'animazione però era stata programmata solamente per bambini piccoli, per esempio la sera non c'era la musica nella zona del bar.
La piscina molto bella ma con pochi lettini, infatti dovevi scendere la mattina molto presto a occuparli.
Tralasciando le code quotidiane per entrare a pranzare e cenare, il cibo non era affatto buono; mancava proprio la qualità.

ottimo cibo, meravigliosa posizione ma le camere..
sono stata in questo hotel con mia mamma nel giugno 2014, devo dire che leggendo le recensioni mi ero preoccupata riguardo al cibo e alla pulizia ma quando siamo arrivate, era notte tarda, siamo state accolte cordialmente dal personale alla reception. il cibo era eccellente, vario e molto. La posizione è privilegiata: ad un passo dal mare e vicino al centro della città in cui si possono trovare vari negozi. L'unica pecca era la camera, si sentivano gli schiamazzi della camera a fianco, c'era una porta inquietante che univa la nostra camera con quella vicina. La pulizia era discreta ma nonostante tutto lo consiglio vivamente.

Nie wieder
Als 4 Sterne Hotel in Deutschland gebucht. Als Pension vor Ort bekommen. Zimmer kommen einer Pension gleich. Keine Kühlmöglichkeit für Babynahrung. Kein Telefon. Kein ..........
Im Familienzimmer 2 Betten 1 Schrank und 2 Nachtische. Im 2. Zimmer war noch ein Tv. Auf den Handtüchern immer flecken. Im Kopfbereich vom Bett Flecken. Das Essen naja nach dem 3. Tag war für mich dann Suppe genug. Hatte mir mit meiner Tochter eine Magenverstimmung mit Durchfall und der Unterhaltung der Toilette geholt.
Personal nett und freundlich aber Mängel wurden auch nicht, selbst nach Rücksprache mit der Reiseleitung, abgestellt.
Fazit einmal und nie wieder.

Non ci siamo!
Se parliamo di qualità-prezzo ci possiamo anche discutere ma posso assicurare che non tornerò mai più al Caleta Palace! Appena sono entrata ho trovato una hall molto grande ma accogliente, l'arredamento era molto vecchio ma ero fiduciosa per il resto dell'hotel, o almeno speravo rimanesse come la hall.
Camere vecchie e stravecchie (non parlo solo dell'arredamento), la pulizia lasciam perdere!
I divani non venivano lavati da secoli, erano tutti macchiati.
Per quanto riguarda il buffet della cena (avevamo il pacchetto mezza pensione) era molto scarso, nel senso che più o meno tutti i giorni c'erano le stesse cose, variava poco il menu.
La colazione assolutamente non era consigliabile.
Passando alla area piscina posso dire che purtroppo era colma di gente e davvero sporca così come i lettini che non venivano mai lavati presumo viste le condizioni.
Meglio andare al mare proprio difronte dove si trova una spiaggia magnifica, non troppo grande ma non troppo piccola dove si sta davvero tranquillissimi. Il mare? Meraviglioso!!|
Diciamo che la posizione dell'hotel è davvero privilegiata, a due passi dal centro città e sul mare! Ma la sostanza manca!
Posso però consigliare assolutamente Platja d'Aro e spero di ritornarci!
