What an amazing hotel!
We stayed in a junior suite on the sixth floor with Privilege access. The room was spacious and modern and the bath and shower were excellent. There was a lot of storage space so we could unpack everything and truly settle in. My partner also had a road bike and the room was plenty big enough to accommodate his bike and cycling kit. The buffet restaurant was excellent every time, there was always a great selection of different cuisines and the service we received was fantastic on every occasion. We tried the Asensen speciality restaurant and really enjoyed the set menu and paired wines but simply didn't have time to try the Italian restaurant (we definitely will next time!). Once again, the real gem of this hotel for us is the Privilege lounge. It's so relaxing and never overcrowded, the sun loungers are padded and comfortable and access to the drinks and snacks makes the experience truly indulgent. The security staff is excellent and ensured we had access to the car park for our hire car and that there was someone there when we checked out to make sure the barrier opened. I must also commend the entertainment team. There was live music and shows every night of very high quality and the atmosphere was always fun and uplifting. The staff throughout the hotel are always on the go and kept busy but always have a smile and do an excellent job of attending to the guests. Do Privilege if you can but even without it, this hotel is almost faultless.

A very enjoyable stay at Gran Tinerfe
I understand that this hotel was one of the first to be built in the resort , and it certainly has a prime position.Wherever you go (including the restaurants) ,the views and sunsets are fantastic.
We arrived very late owing to problems at our airport, were quickly checked in (all inclusive) with double room each for my son and myself.We were offered a glass of cava and told a cold snack was in our rooms, as we had missed dinner.
We were also told we could go to the lobby bar for a drink.
At first we were not too impressed with the rooms with not much of a view being low floor, but actually we grew to like it there. It was peaceful and there was a view of surrounding hotels and the pool and bar below.
The rooms were large and clean when we arrived, the beds comfy.The shower was large and modern and the balcony was larger than most hotel balconies.
We didn't need the lift as we could quickly walk down to the restaurant and pools.
You can get out directly on to the promenade through a gate.
As we were AI,the mini fridge and tea/coffee was replenished regularly (but DON'T have the crisps and wine on a tray-you will be charged for that).
We liked having the wristcard which also acted as a key to the room and for bar drinks etc.

The food is OK, but not all to my taste, but I appreciate the hotel caters for other countries besides UK..
We had the offer of 2 speciality restaurants whilst there, but couldn't get in one (Asenini) as we arrived late Mon and it was already booked up.
The Italian one was very nice.
Unlike some other views, we really enjoyed the evening entertainment and looked forward to it.The acts were very professional and probably the best hotel entertainment we have seen.

We noticed quite a few solo guests and there were 2 girls wearing a teeshirt with "friend" on the back, who made sure nobody was "left out" because they were solo guests.We thought that was a very nice thought by the hotel management.

The pools are lovely and the grounds are kept clean and spacious.
Unlike other hotels there seemed to be no shortage of staff here and they all seemed happy and helpful to the guests.I don't know all their names but would like to mention our very attentive waitress Sylvia on the outside of the dining room.She was lovely and never seemed to stop going round tables.

My only minor complaints are that I thought the rooms should be cleaned a bit more thoroughly , never saw anyone sweeping or wiping floors for example.

Also my WI FI was patchy for some reason and the lady at recepcion could not get my Kindle connected up (which I have never encountered before) and suggested I go outside to a bookshop ! although there IS a "library" in the hotel.

I would also like to be able to view other TV channels in the room rather than just 5 UK ones. (some films on late at night also have subtitles).

My son was disappointed not to find a "sports bar" in the hotel as he wanted to see a football match.

All in all though , we really enjoyed our stay at the Gran Tinerfe and would certainly consider going there again in future.

Room for improvement
Just returned from 8 nights all inclusive, the room was spacious with plenty of storage the wardrobe doors had seen better days and were not the best .The decor was probably stylish in 1972 when the hotel opened but the woodchip was looking a bit tired, the aircon was also not very good. The hallway leading to the room had been recently had the carpet replaced and the peeling wallpaper stuck back down. The 3 lifts covering the 13 floors can be a bit hit and miss luckily we were on the 5th so tended to walk the stairs. The food in the restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice and the service was brilliant, however on our first night 10th October winter begins and long trousers are a must ,so began the nightly ritual of changing from trousers back to shorts for the evening out.We stayed in for a few nights to watch some mediocre shows but this involved having to endure the worst drinks table service that I have ever encountered, it truly is diabolical, some people were sitting down for at least half an hour before leaving. We decided to go out and take in some of the local bars including the excellent night owl. We witnessed some towels being removed from around the pool in the morning even when there was spare sunloungers available which was completely unnecessary, it's a pity the pool guy didn't pay as much attention to the scum marks in the heated pool .The gardens, reception and restaurants are kept spotless and very modern however certain areas of the hotel are showing their age,avoid the beach access toilets, or hold your nose.

Depends on what you like
So we have just arrived back from a week in H10 Gran Tinerfe, this is the second time we’ve been to the hotel so that must say something however…
We stayed here because friends were staying here but I won’t again. It wasn’t awful but it just isn’t our type of hotel.
The pool area is generally quite nice and the pool bar is good albeit there are often long queues so it could do with extra staff at times.
The reception area is pleasant and checkin was easy with good staff.
The outside terrace is a very nice place in the evening.
We stayed in a bungalow by the pool and it was nicely fitted out, a reasonable size with a good shower but there is a strong sewerage smell in the bungalow and in the corridor outside all bungalows, somebody did come along to do something but I think they just put some toilet chemicals in the drains which masked it a little.
We booked half board for our week and only ate 6 breakfasts and 2 evening meals there because the restaurant is not so good, it is always very busy and at peak times it is a bit chaotic. There is a reasonable selection of food but it is not presented very well (much of this due to the guests making a mess) and not particularly tasty. I am sure that some will like the All Inclusive all-you-can-eat food trough experience but if you like food to be a significant part of your evening out then I suggest just staying bed and breakfast.
The location of the hotel is convenient for bars and restaurants but is a real ugly area of Tenerife with lots of steps and hills

Excellent stay
Having just spent 2 weeks at this excellent beachfront property there was little to criticise. The food was varied, flavoursome & well presented with show cooking available. The AI drinks were of a high & varied quality & the rooms were well furnished if not too much. We had a superior sea view which could do without the standard lamp, coffee table & bucket chair, as it doesn’t make for a lot of room for luggage for 2 people. Also although it is lovely to have a coffee machine a free kettle should be a must. The maid service is excellent but, don’t expect your shower cap, dental kit or tissues refilled daily unless you ask. I also had to request a fresh gown & slippers after they were removed for washing but not automatically replaced. Small points but essential. Having said that these ladies have a long, hard day. The mini bar is also refilled daily & free safe available which is also a nice touch & not always available elsewhere. The evening entertainment is very good, varied & of a high standard the animation team do a good job day & night. Staff are pleasant, well dressed & efficient.
Now the complaints, firstly, the rule of not reserving sunbeds with towels SHOULD be enforced as by 10 in the morning it’s impossible to find space at any of the 3 pools. The installation of a towel/pool boy supervising the pools would ensure this, the rule should also apply to the daybeds under the canopy at the main pool & be extended to Privilege guests who have their own spaces but invade other areas.
Secondly, although there is a dress code we found men of all sizes & ages wearing shorts at dinner, despite signage, and nobody correcting them. Until finally on October 10th ish when it was enforced. To save offence to the men this should also apply to women in skimpy shorts.
My hints would be get a lower level room as when busy the
lifts are very slow & you may have to walk up or down.
The 2 Al a crate restaurants available to AI are pleasant to sit in with attentive staff, The Italian being by far the best for menu & food quality. The Asensen in our view is not worth the visit, the Perch is boney & the beef unable to cut or chew it was so red it was still alive. This may vary according to chef. However the El Mirador is available to AI for lunch & far outweighs the buffet for food quality, choice & service.

L’hotel è fantastico,si mangia bene ed è la sua posizione e’ comoda per delle belle passeggiate . Io personalmente amo come affaccia sul mare,abbiamo sempre mangiato fuori ed è spettacolare.(C’è tanta roba da mangiare e io sono allergica al pesce,perciò il menù è vasto).
Un ringraziamento a tutto il personale della Reception,sala ,camere, cucina e anche l’animazione della Francorosso dove appena arrivati senza invadenza hanno reso il tutto molto più chiaro e dettagliato… Un ricordo speciale 🤍

Vacaciones CASI perfectas
Empezamos nuestras vacaciones el sábado todo fue excelente tanto recepción, el de seguridad como el resto de personas del hotel.
En el buffet nos atendió el señor padron fue de 10, el problema vino al desayuno
Primero que todo un cocinero que estaba en el show cooking, le dije buenos días y como si no hubiera nadie, sin preguntarme que quería dio por echo que yo lo que quería era un huevo frito, me lo puso en el plato le dije gracias y otra vez me ignoró, luego cogimos dos zumos de manzana y sabían a agua, se lo comenté a la cocinera que estaba al cargo de esa partida, y me respondió con ironía algo así, como que sí, que ellas los cambiaría por mi, pero ahí no termina la cosa mi pareja luego se acerca a coger otros zumos y cogió la jarra de atrás ya que la primera estaba muy clara ( parecía aguada también ) a lo que la cocinera le responde “ mira mi niña la primera jarra también es zumo piña” y mi pareja le da la explicación del por qué, y en ese momento se da la vuelta y deja hablando sola a mi pareja ( ósea algo de no creer ).
Al día siguiente volvimos al desayuno y su cara era de asco hacia nosotros, destacar que no comimos crepes solo por no acercarnos a su zona de trabajo y que nos mirara mal o nos ignoraran, luego en la tarde me pedí un wraps y cuando estaba comiendo mastico algo duro lo saco de mi boca y era una toallita húmeda ( me dio de todo en ese momento, no me creía lo que estaba pasando ) los chicos del bar piscina llamaron de inmediato a alguien y llegó la señorita marina ( jefa de relaciones públicas ) que tampoco se creía todo lo que estaba pasando, me pidió permiso para llevarse el plato y enseñarlo en cocina, se disculpo en nombre de la empresa.
Pero aún así recomiendo el hotel, sin duda volveré, las habitaciones, el servicio, las piscinas, y todo en general están bastante bien lo recomiendo.

Tramonti bellissimi
L'hotel si affaccia direttamente sul mare, dispone di una bella terrazza ristorante e di una terrazza bar da cui ammirare bellissimi tramonti. Struttura curata e ben tenuta, personale cortese sia in reception che al ristorante. Consiglio di prenotare una camera vista mare, io ho prenotato una standard con veduta sul retro, molto bella e curata ma qui merita davvero investire qualcosa in più per la vista mare e tramonti.
Avevamo trattamento di PC più bevande ai pasti, a noi è andato bene perché soggiornando spesso nella catena H10 ho accumulato dei punti che mi sn stati convertiti in credito da utilizzare per la cassaforte in camera e per le bevande. Considerate che un bicchiere d'acqua anche in piscina dal dispenser ve lo fanno pagare ben euro 2,70, come una coca cola in bottiglia di vetro che però è tutt'altra cosa.
Consiglio quindi di fare le opportune considerazioni se scegliere trattamento di all inclusive o meno.
Ci sono 3 piscine di cui una con acqua riscaldata, una bellissima vasca idromassaggio.
In altri hotel della stessa catena anche con trattamento di PC e bevande ai pasti, ci hanno comunque sempre dato anche bottiglie di acqua, birra o bibite in più. Qui sono invece molto fiscali, un'acqua a testa, o una bibita o birra a testa, se volete altro è a pagamento.
Nel complesso ottima struttura, una menzione sulla cucina, i cibi cucinati erano di buona qualità, forse a volte poca scelta, soprattutto a pranzo e cena, colazione ottima.
Posizione ottima anche per comodità di vicinanza con negozi centri commerciali e locali

Énormément déçu de cet hôtel , service zéro , publicité mensongère. C’est inadmissible pour un hôtel de ce standing . J’ai pris un service demi pension pour éviter de chercher des restaurant le soir et j’avais vu que l’hôtel proposait 3 restaurant ( buffet à volonté , restaurant italien , restaurant gastronomique) . Le restaurant gastronomique n’ est pas inclus dans la demi pension , que je comprend tout à fait . Voilà que je réserve ce soir un créneau pour le restaurant italien , lorsque j’arrive on me dit que ce n’est pas compris dans la démi pension j’ai été étonné . Du coup je vérifie sur le site si c’étais bien stipulé or ce n’était pas le cas . J’appel ça une publicité mensongère . De plus hier j’ai voulu tester le restaurant à volonté ( bien compris dans la demi pension) , je suis une personne qui ne mange pas de viande , donc j’ai fait le tour des plats pour trouvé mon bonheur , vraiment pas grand choix du poisson pané avec des chips je n’ai jamais vu sa . J’ai lu les descriptif des plats afin de prendre sans viande , j’ai trouvé une salade de carotte et de chou ( normalement sans viande) or il y avait du porc , c’est une encore publicitée mensongère . Du coup je me plains à la réceptionniste, sa seul réponse c’est que ce n’est pas une allergie . Mais si une personne est allergique à un produit mais que le cuisinier rajoute des ingrédient sans le stipuler , comment la personne qui a des allergies peut le savoir . Je déconseile fortement cet hôtel bas de gamme , elle ne mérite pas 4 étoile mais 0 étoile .

Hotel mit gutem Animationsprogramm
Waren jetzt zum 6. Mal in diesem Hotel und würden auch immer wieder kommen. Das Animationsprogramm ist meiner Meinung nach sehr empfehlenswert. Über den Tag gibt es neben Dart, Tischtennis und Billard auch Luftgewehrschießen und Bogenschießen. Aufgrund der wunderbaren Animateure hat alles eine lustige und tolle Atmosphäre. Auch das Abendprogramm ist immer super. Neben reinen Musikabenden gibt es aber auch Magic Shows oder Akrobatik.
Das Abendessen am Buffet ist abwechslungsreich. Jeder wird etwas finden.

Situación privilegiada, en primera línea de playa. Fuimos de aniversario y por la tarde nos tenían unos chocolates y una botella de cava en la habitación.
Es de destacar la atención del personal, desde la subdirectora María, pasando por Marisa relaciones Pública, recepción, limpiadoras, todos los camarer@s en especial en el restaurante El Mirador Ruiman, Asier y Cristo. Comida tanto en el buffét, como en los restaurantes a la carta muy buena calidad y variedad.

Soggiorno molto soddisfacente
Struttura situata in una delle zone più belle della costa Adeje con una splendida vista sull'oceano. Ambiente ben curato. Voglio fare i complimenti a tutto lo staff del ristorante soprattutto a chi gestiva la terrazza fuori non ricordo il nome del ragazzo ma è compotente e gentile. Camere pulite, ho mangiato bene ampia scelta. Lo consiglio io ho fatto la mezza pensione si mangia tanto non pranzavo quasi mai.

Le Meilleur Hôtel de Tenerife
Un seul mot : fantastique !!!

Tout dans cet hôtel est PARFAIT
En premier, c’est l’accueil qui est réservé aux clients !! bienveillant, à l’écoute, souriant, attentionné, très pro, bref une équipe au TOP et toute l’équipe, que ce soit à la réception, la restauration, le nettoyage, le service, les animateurs et animatrices … nous avons séjourné pendant une semaine dans une grande famille et nous n’avions pas envie de repartir ce matin !!
Mention spéciale au gardien de nuit, à Dora aux activités sportives et Andres au restaurant. Merci pour leur sourire, leur gentillesse, grâce à eux, on se sent comme à la maison .

La situation idéale ! Face à l’océan, au bord de la plage, tout près du Papagayo sans avoir les inconvénients du tumulte des bars et night-clubs très fréquentés donc au calme et ça c’est le luxe !!

Nourriture excellente au petit dej et au dîner: produits variés et de qualité, beaucoup de choix, on s’est régalés !
Chambre magnifique, une vue à couper le souffle
Grande propreté dans tous les espaces, des jacuzzi, plusieurs piscines, une salle de sport avec de nombreux appareils.

La musique au top et des spectacles variés tous les soirs.

Tonny au restaurant est désagréable au possible !!!!!!
Il est aberrant que les piscines soient nettoyées à 11h le matin alors que l on nage dedans.
On demande un verre à minuit 4, on nous le refuse.
On demande un mojito au rhum brun, refus également !!! Sommes pourtant en all inclusive.
Il y a 2 jours, on nous propose un choix de 5 cocktails, nous en voulions un autre, encore 1 refus !!!! Lamentable au prix du séjour. Grande déception pour ceH10......

Peut mieux faire
A notre arrivée le 15 août, nous avons demandé à changer de chambre car on sentait les ressorts du matelas et une lame du parquet était décollée. Un très grand merci à Hélène de l'accueil pour sa réactivité sa gentillesse et ses conseils tout au long de notre séjour. Nous avons obtenu une nouvelle chambre dès le lendemain matin.
Points positifs : hôtel bien situé, le restaurant italien et gastronomique sont très bons par contre le restaurant buffet reste très classique. Le personnel est très aimable avec un bémol pour Tony le responsable de la terrasse du restaurant.
Points négatifs : les moquettes des couloirs sont sales et tachées, les abords des piscines sont nettoyés vers 18h nous chassant presque, animations plus que moyennes.
Dans l'ensemble une grande déception par rapport au H10 White Suite de Lanzarotte (2023) au vu de l'augmentation des tarifs de cette année.

Tutto assolutamente perfetto. Tutto nei minimi dettagli. Non sto qui ad elencare nulla, perché è perfetto. Parlano tranquillamente italiano. Ogni sera un tema/cucina diverso. Colazione da favola. Vicino all'aeroporto. Consiglio di fare la mezza pensione.

J’étais très bien informé très bien accueilli par une dame blonde d’une française qui est super sympathique adorable et un monsieur belge espagnol qui représentait toute l’équipe. À chaque fois ils étaient souriants et disponibles pour écouter mes demandes. L’hôtel est sympathique. Le restaurant est super, la piscine est magnifique, un beau décor, tout était bien avec ma fille. Luci ed ombre
Ennesimo viaggio a Tenerife prima volta al Gran Tinerfe. Ho prenotato qui dopo la meravigliosa esperienza fatta l’anno scorso presso H 10 Timanfaya Palace di Lanzarote sicura di ritrovare lo stesso ambiente tranquillo , ma purtroppo le mie speranze sono svanite subito. Al nostro arrivo, ho viaggiato con i miei genitori 80enni l’addetta al desk, gentilissima, ci ha indicato il ristorante poiché le camere non erano ancora pronte (il check out è alle ore 12 ). Terminato il pranzo ci vengono assegnate camere al 1° piano, vista piscine, ampie, pulite e in ordine , il tempo necessario a disfare i bagagli e qui inizia il caos. Schiuma party in piscina con musica assordante condito con la voce del dj ,nemmeno con la finestra chiusa e le tende tirate si riusciva a stare in pace per riposare un po’ vista l’alzataccia del mattino. Il tutto dalle ore 14.00 alle ore 19.00. Mi reco in reception chiedendo spiegazioni e mi viene risposto che si tratta della prima volta e che non si ripeterà mai più, così ,rincuorata, vado a cena. La sera successiva intorno alle 20.30 circa proprio sotto il balcone viene allestito un palco con musica dal vivo che si protrae fino alle ore 23.00. Impossibile sia ascoltare la televisione che leggere. Questa situazione si verifica quasi ogni sera Alle mie rimostranze mi viene offerto un cambio camera che ho prontamente accettato. I miei genitori, nelle stesse condizioni, non se la sono sentita di spostarsi nonostante venisse loro offerto un aiuto dal personale. L’hotel patisce un pochino i segni del tempo anche se stato ristrutturato, ambienti comuni molto puliti, meravigliosa terrazza-bar proprio sull’ oceano da cui godere splendidi tramonti. Sala ristorante con possibilità di pranzare e cenare all’esterno, non adatta per ospiti con difficoltà motorie data la presenza di gradini. Cibo molto curato anche nella presentazione, molti fritti. Camere ,come già accennato, grandi ma bagni poco pratici data l’assenza di mensole dove appoggiare i prodotti. Letti comodi. Aria condizionata senza telecomando. Personale gentile, cordiale e disponibile. La spiaggia è situata proprio sotto l’hotel raggiungibile scendendo le scale, l’apertura della porta di accesso avviene tramite cheap nel braccialetto. A parte l’inconveniente della musica unica nota stonata del soggiorno, mi sento di consigliarlo suggerendo, a coloro i quali, come me amanti della tranquillità di richiedere camere lontane dalle piscine.

Hotel mit guter Lage und Abwechslung
Das Hotel bietet alles, sehr große Pool Landschaft, Essen ist ein bißchen englisch lastig, aber genug Auswahl für nicht Engländer auch da. Zu den Stosszeiten kann es schon sehr voll im Restaurant sein. Terrasse ist dafür sehr schön. Animation ist auch genug geboten.

Toller Urlaub
Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Themenrestaurants waren der Wahnsinn, unbedingt ausprobieren. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage ist relativ groß aber sehr übersichtlich. Es gibt sehr viele Animationsprogramme die man über den Tag verteilt machen kann.
