Nice hotel
Hotel is nice & comfortable, restaurant in hotel is good, bar area very nice with a varied menu to suit everyone. Bedroom was nice, very good shower, toiletries stocked daily, mini bar if you wish to use it, towels provided for both pool areas. Went to the rooftop pool but needs more accessible seating as seats are very low or very high. If you have forgotten anything the hotel will try & provide you, (we had forgotten our adaptors). It’s about 15mins in a taxi from centre of Porto, as others have said, use Uber or Bolt. We were recommended a couple of restaurants the locals use (Casa Nanda & Antunes). Both were very nice but Antunes was our favourite, 2xmeals, 3x beers, 2x sangrias 35 euros. A very nice friendly hotel, probably more 4* than 5*.

Nous sommes très déçus pour de multiples raisons. L'hôtel est très éloigné du centre historique et nous avons donc dû effectuer de nombreux déplacements onéreux en taxi ou en bus local. Les possibilités de restauration sont très réduites à proximité immédiate de l'hôtel à l'exception de deux patisseries .
La chambre est très décevante. Lits très inconfortables vous vous réveillez le matin avec des courbatures. La salle de bain n'est pas ventilée et la chambre est très très mal insonorisée. Vous entendez vos voisins ronfler et que dire du bruit généré par les avions et par un chantier de construction situé à proximité. Nous avons en plus eu la désagréable surprise de constater que les toilettes évacuaient mal. Et nous avons dû faire deux réclamations pour être dépannés. A deux reprises les femmes de ménage ont oublié de faire la chambre ! Nous en avons fait part à la réception et on a eu l'audace de nous dire il ne fallait pas mettre l'affiche "do not disturb" (ce qui n'était pas le cas).
Les toilettes publiques situées près de la réception sont très mal tenues.
Le personnel de la réception est tout juste aimable. On nous a refusé de faire de la monnaie pour payer notre taxi pour l'aéroport.
La honte pour ce pseudo hôtel 5 étoiles. Notre satisfaction est inversement proportionnelle aux tarifs pratiqués

Comfortable Hotel
Good quality hotel in mixed commercial and residential area. Very smart lobby, good sized room with excellent shower. No bath. Air conditioner hard to control. Good selection of food at breakfast buffet, but not particularly to my taste. Gym a bit disappointing, needs some dumbbells or additional weight machines. Not a five star hotel for me but perfectly reasonable.

Beware
We booked 4 rooms at this hotel for 2 nights, approximately 3 weeks before our arrival via booking.com. The price was a very reasonable £804. The only option available was ‘free cancellation’ upto 4 days before our arrival.

6 days before our arrival we received notification from booking.com our rooms had been cancelled because the credit card had been declined. We contacted the hotel but they refused to honour our booking.
We then saw 4 rooms now being advertised on booking.com at £1391 for the same dates again with free cancellation up to 2 days before your arrival date.

The credit card which had been used many times was then used to book another hotel without any problems.

We looked at prices in subsequent weeks and a pattern emerges. With prices dropping the further you are from your arrival date with only the Free Cancellation option available up to 4 days before your arrival date.

It would appear this hotel is taking bookings then deciding if they can get a better price much nearer the time. So beware when booking this hotel as you may be let down with your booking.

Hôtel réservé via VoyagesPrives. Nous avons trouvé l’hôtel magnifique et bien entretenu. La chambre était spacieuse et moderne. Ménage fait quotidiennement, RAS.
En revanche, leur gros problème est le manque d’insonorisation! En effet, nous avions l’impression de vivre avec nos voisins de chambre !
L’hôtel est quand même assez loin du centre mais faisable en bus (20/25’ de bus) car son arrêt de bus est à 200 m de la réception.
Le petit déjeuner est varié et bon.
Nous n’avons pas déjeuner non dîner sur place.

Fantastic Stay at HF Ipanema Park
Fantastic 3 nights stay. Check in was ok. We arrived early and knew room wouldn’t be ready but the male on reception could have been more welcoming. That is the only negative for our entire stay.
All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The roof top pops staff were friendly and efficient at making cocktails.
Breakfast staff were so attentive clearing your items away quickly when finished.
Quality of the breakfast was great with everything you needed to start your day…. Plus they had champagne too.
Room attendants first class. Room always immaculately made up with fresh towels and replenishing of toiletries. We had Room 1218 and had a lovely view.
The hotel itself in all of the areas was modern and extremely clean.
The hotel is quite a distance from the main tourist areas on the Douro but an auger was only costing less than €5. The price from hotel to airport was €10. Perfect price.
I would totally recommend a stay at the HF Ipanema Park, definitely worthy of its 5Star rating. Thank you.

Decent.
Lovely clean rooms, although the view was somewhat lacking. Uber into the city is the easiest way to get there and cost less than €5. The hotel is removed from the city but the benefit is it easier to check out the beach area of the city. Definitely not a 5 star hotel though stayed in much nicer 4 stars in the past. The one big down side is the pools are small and the rooftop bar is incredibly pretentious. If you’ve booked you’ll have a good trip but if you’re still looking there may be better options.

A éviter en cas de problème
Sans doute un bel hôtel : réservation faite via Booking.com. Vol annulé au dernier moment par la compagnie. Aucune possibilité de remboursement de leur part, ni même un remboursement partiel alors que nous avions payé la totalité du séjour y compris des petits déjeuner à 15 € par jour et par personne que nous n’avons pas consommés. Je déconseille fortement vu leur sens du service clients

Gran ciudad, pero poco cuidada
Hotel 5 estrellas, muy moderno, las habitaciones son amplias y con un baño grande. Los alrededores muy tranquilos, aunque no es recomendable salir por la noche ya que hay personas sin techo y no es muy agradable, si bien hay que decir que en la ciudad de Oporto en general ya sea en el centro o en las afueras hay bastante gente sin hogar. La ciudad esta bastante sucia, cosa que deberían solventar las autoridades. Por lo general un hotel muy bueno, con buffet tanto en la cena como el desayuno, tienen gran cantidad de personal que esta atento en todo momento. La única pega por decir algo sería la ubicación ya que esta algo alejado del centro, nada que no se puede solucionar cogiendo un uber, los cuales son sorprendentemente baratos costando un viaje del hotel a la catedral unos 4€ de media, aunque hay que decir que los conductores tanto de taxi como de uber no respetan ningún limite de velocidad, conducen sin dar ninguna indicación y saltándose semáforos en rojo.

Todo muy bien
Llegamos y el check-in fue rápido y sencillo. El personal es muy agradable, en especial Catarina, del servicio de recepción.
El desayuno está bien, aunque eché en falta un poco más de variedad (en especial de dulce).
Las habitaciones son amplias y limpias. La cama muy cómoda.
El hotel en general está muy bien, la recepción me pareció muy bonita y acogedora.
La piscina interior está muy bien, no había demasiada gente y se estaba a gusto.
En general, todo correcto y lo recomendaría; y posiblemente volvería.

El hotel, la atención, el personal, el desayuno y las habitaciones, todo excelente, la única pega está un poco lejos del centro, de los sitios de interés, por lo demás todo excelente, dispone de parking en el mismo hotel, el precio del estacionamiento del vehículo es barato comparado con otros hoteles (14 € días).

Klassisches Businesshotel mit schönen Zimmern, sehr freundlichem Personal (Concierge, Rezeption, Servicepersonal), gutes WLAN und für mich überraschend gutes Mittagsbuffet.

Zum Frühstück gibt es eine große Auswahl, mit dem Taxi ist man in knapp 10 Minuten in der Altstadt.

Wer schwimmen will, kann dies entweder im hoteleigenen Hallenbad oder im Außenpool, der sich im 15. Stock (inkl. Bar) befindet.

Esperaba mejor calidad al ser un hotel de 5 estrellas.
Tanto la habitación como el desayuno podrían pasar por uno de 4 o incluso 3 estrellas. Es cierto que el desayuno era completo pero los zumos eran muy malos y dependiendo de la hora no había mucha variedad.
Los colchones de las camas dejaban bastante que desear, no suelo ser muy exquisita con la cama pero estaban bastante viejos.
El baño reformad, nuevo y muy limpio. Y es de agradecer que tuviera secador bastante bueno y cambiaran todas las toallas todos los días.
Además de tener albornoz y zapatillas, eso nos ha gustado mucho.

Achtung vor der Nachbarschaft
Das Hotel an sich ist ganz gut, Preis-Leistungen stimmt. Sehr schöner Eingangsbereich mit WOW Effekt.
Jedoch Achtung vor der Nachbarschaft. Man wird auch darauf nicht hingewiesen beim einchecken. Nachts ist man auf der Strasse von komischen Menschen umgeben. Vor allem Drogensüchtigen. Besser nicht alleine laufen, vor allem nicht wenn es dunkel ist. Besser ein Taxi in die Stadt nehmen. Das kostet circa 4-6 Euro.
Zimmer war ganz o. k., Safe veraltet, Minibar kühlte leider nicht. Das Zimmer wurde täglich sauber gemacht. Fussboden könnte sauberer sein- die Socken sind der Beweis. Der allgemeine Bereich ist sehr schön und das Frühstück kann man sich zwar nicht selber nehmen (Corona-Massnahmen), ist aber ganz gut.
Auch wenn das Hotel nichts dafür kann, möchte ich vor allen jungen Frauen davon abraten, hier einzuchecken. Die Gegend ist wirklich alles andere als sicher. Das merkt man auch daran, dass sie einen Security Guard an der Tür stehen haben.

L'hotel è classificato 5 stelle e direi che come struttura va bene, le camere sono pulite anche se un pò piccola la tripla, il bagno bello mi è piaciuto. E' presente una piscina all'ultimo piano ma è davvero piccola, non l'abbiamo provata. Dista circa 10 minuti da Ribeira e sono presenti sempre taxi davanti anche se noi abbiamo utlizzato Uber con spesa media € 8 per auto da 3 persone, consigliata se volete andare a visitare le cantine di Porto o assagiare i vini del Douro in quantità. La zona non è delle migliori, ci sono molti drogati nei dintorni ma non abbiamo rilevato problemi trane alcune richieste di monete. L'hotel dispone di un parcheggio interno a pagamento, credevo fosse gratuito per i clienti invece al ceck out ci hanno fatto pagare la tariffa giornaliera di € 11 per tutti i giorni che abbiamo soggiornato. La colazione è buona e molto abbondante dolce, salato, frutta ecc., il personale cortese e attento, abbiamo chiesto alla reception alcune stampe di file eseguite molto velocemente e senza costi aggiuntivi. Nel complesso siamo stati bene.

Schönes Stadthotel
Wir kennen HF Hotels schon aus Lissabon und haben deshalb und vor allem wegen des Pools auf dem Dach dieses Hotel gewählt. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Dachterrasse mit dem Pool ist das Highlight! Leider wurde der Pool und die Bar bereits um 20 Uhr geschlossen...Das liegt wahrscheinlich an Corona. Die Bar im Erdgeschoss hat dafür auch abends geöffnet.
Das Frühstück am Tisch wurde gut geregelt. Es gibt so ziemlich dieselbe Auswahl wie bei einem Buffet.
Unser Zimmer im 15. Stock hatte eine tolle Aussicht bis aufs Meer.
Das einzige Manko ist die Entfernung zur Altstadt, zu Fuß sehr weit. Aber in der Nähe des Hotels am Flussufer gibt es auch Restaurants.
Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage kostet 11€ pro Tag.

L'apparenza inganna
L'hotel é moderno, ben arredato negli spazi comuni, tuttavia siamo lontani anni luce dalle 5 stelle che vanta. Camere spaziose, ma bagno piuttosto vecchiotto con vasca anni '80, condizionatore che non funziona (solo aria fredda, per l'aria calda niente da fare). Materassi scomodissimi: ho trovato decisamente di meglio in categorie di hotel inferiori. E avendo problemi di schiena, sento immediatamente la differenza.
Tisaneria e altri servizi assolutamente nella norma. In conclusione, non vale assolutamente il costo.

Eccellente
Bellissimo e signorile hotel appena fuori dal centro centro di Porto.
Stanze molto grandi e pulite. Personale molto gentile.
Colazione Super
abbondante con molta varietà di cibo dal dolce al salato - succhi di frutta caffè e perfino spumante.
All'ultimo piano c'è anche una piscina.
A due passi dall'hotel c 'è la fermata degli autobus per cui raggiungere il centro non è un problema. (autobus n. 200).

Relax. Schönes Zimmer im 10.stock mit Aussicht auf Fluss und Meer. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück. Gute Lage zwischen Meer
4 Sterne. Lage genau zwischen Meer und Altstadt Bus fährt unregelmässig. Taxis gibts überall und sind günstig. Sehr gute Küche. Stockfisch, Teigtaschen und Portwein. Der Garten im Vergleich zum 14stöckigen Hotel ist winzig. Ruhige Lage. 👍

Ein Wolf im Schafspelz
Leider bin ich nicht zufrieden mit diesem Hotel . Die Wände sind dünn sodass man jeden Nachbarn hört. Ich konnte die Nacht gar nicht richtig schlafen. Die atemberaubende Aussicht mit einem 24 h durchgehenden Geräusch der Abluft untermalt die Nacht zu einem wachen Erlebnis. Das Bad war leider auch nicht perfekt sauber Haare in der Dusche , Amaturen mit Wasserflecken. Der Pool ist nicht zum erholen da keine Möglichkeit zum Liegen und laute Musik den ganzen Tag. Das Hotel liegt rel. weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt und man benötigt den Bus. Das einzige positive ist und bleibt das Frühstück schade.

Your comments are very important so that we can make some decisions on improving the quality of service, as well as having the opportunity to explain the situations that were not to your liking so that they are not misunderstood.
We really regret that you have not been able to rest properly due to noises but I would like to mention that our windows are very soundproofed and therefore I wonder if the windows where properly closed.
Regarding the location, we would like to point out that we have the Botanical Garden really close to the hotel and we also have the Casa de Serralves with its wonderful gardens and great exhibitions. We also have a bus stop in front of the hotel and a taxi station . Thus, you can go to the historic city center or to Matosinhos, for example, to enjoy an incredible fish meal or go to the beach. We also have a fantastic sidewalk where you can walk, run, bike and in 15 minutes you will be in Ribeira do Porto or simply enjoy the fantastic view along the Douro River.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience and I can assure you that the situations you have described do not make part of our usual standards of quality of service. We have already expressed your dissatisfaction to our Operational Coordination and we hope to have the privilege of receiving you again to enjoy the true HF service.

Fantastico Hotel
stanze molto ampie e molto pulte. Letti enormi. Bagno grande. Colazione super variegata per tutti i gusti. Personale molto cortese e disponibile.Posizione leggermente fuori dal centro ma ben collegato con taxi (economici) bus ecc..

Non è centrale ma è vicino all’aeroporto ed alla zona fieristica di Matosinhos, camere grandi, pulite e confortevoli. Possibilità di parcheggio sotterraneo a 11€/giorno. Colazione varia e personale professionale, un ottimo business hotel.
