The Hotel Casa Real is located on the Santa Rita Estate, and was formerly the summerhouse of the winery’s founder. Following restoration, it was converted into a hotel in the mid-1990s. Located in a 40-hectare park designed by leading French landscape gardener Guillaume Renner.
Its late 19th century classical style has been preserved, making it a historic monument and the only park of its kind in the country. Hotel Casa Real offers 16 beautiful rooms, fine dining, salons, and outstanding service, in a setting of absolute privacy and exclusivity. Alongside the hotel stands a Neo-Gothic chapel built in 1880 - like the mansion, it was designed by German architect Theodor Burchard.

    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). Muy lindo ambiente y cosas que hacer
Excelente restaurant ubicado en la Viña Santa Rita, vamos periodicamente hace unos 8 años , por que nos encanta su ambiente y particularmente su galeria donde uno se puede sentar a disfrutar de una botella de vino luego de almorzar y ademas se ouede pasear en los.parques e.ingresar al Museo precolombino que es gratis.
Lo unico es que la carta del restaurant es muy poco variada y en estos 8 años no ha cambiado absolutamente nada..son exactamente los.mismos platos sin variacion, por lo que para quienes vamos preriodicamente a disfrutar de laexperiencia , la parte culinaria es siempre.la.misma y uno esperaria que la carta fuera mas extensa y/o hicieran variaciones en sus platos

Excelente experiencia
Un lugar Maravilloso, lleno de Historia, el Restaurant buenisimo, platos sencillos y bien preparados.
La Atencion sobretodo de Juan Muñoz un 10/10, muy grato, lindo. Ademas por almorzar nos regalaron el tour por el parque que simplemente es Maravilloso.

Beautiful yard, full of history…
Firstly the tour was great, the sommelier Maira was so kind explaining all the history of Santa Rita and Doña Paula as one of the most relevant patriot figure that time. We chose the Premium Tour where the ultra wines were expected to be experienced, but the top wine offered was the Triple C very much under our expectation. Secondly, our experience in the restaurant was also a bit frustrating because we wanted to order a glass of the ultra wine Casa Real, but again not possible. They charged the same price for another Triple C. The quality of the rib-eye was very poor and well-done (ordered rare), but the salmon was Ok. Despite the food, the service was very much appreciated, Juan Muñoz and his brother Jose were very attentive all time. Finally we left Santa Rica without tasting the Casa Real, believe or not.

The Magic Word
We are big fans of Santa Rita wines. We went on a wine trip to Chile this July and had a wonderful trip: awesome food and wine everywhere we went........except for this restaurant.
The wine tour and grounds were very good, our guide took us to the wine cellars, he explained how they make wine, its history, etc. We finished the tour with a wine tasting that came with a nice wood table with cheese and nuts. The tasting was good and the overall experience at the winery and tasting was great. After that, we had booked lunch for 4 adults and 2 kids at Dona Paula.
When we got there, the restaurant looked very nice. The hacienda style and white linens make it look elegant and sophisticated.
We got seated right away and our waiter came to offer water while we looked at the pre fixed lunch to select our choices. When my brother asked for a kid's menu, the waiter answered very sternly: "there is no menu for kids" We expected an alternative, but nothing. My brother asked him..."so, what do we do? Are there any accommodations for kids? kids My kids want to eat". The waiter left to the kitchen and came back saying that they could do a pasta and protein dish for the kids. Right away, the waiter's attitude was borderline rude, but we were too excited and happy to be there.
We looked at the menu and we all ordered our starters and the kid's food.
I ordered the shrimp which ended up being two breaded langostinos. My husband ordered the carpaccio and I can't remember what the rest ordered.
When my food came the shrimp was a disaster. The shrimp/langostino was overcooked. I was a bit surprised because I expected fantastic food given the prices (very expensive) and the restaurant's reputation.
I shared a piece of it with my husband and we agreed it was bad. I called the waiter and I told him very nicely...'"Excuse me but can you change my food?" He asked me why and I told him it was hard to eat. He asked again what was wrong and I told him it was overcooked, that I needed another one, a fresh one. He never said..I am sorry about his, let me change it...nothing.
He looked at me and told me...."And the magic word is....???" (expecting an answer) I couldn't respond and he said "POR FAVOR" (please in Spanish) with a very sarcastic tone of voice.
We are native Spanish speakers....this was no misunderstanding. It was plain rudeness and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Everyone in our party was in complete SHOCK. I didn't know what to say or how to respond....We have been in all kinds of restaurants and understand that cultural differences and service levels vary from county to country...but this was unacceptable.
My husband got up and went to the manager to explain what happened. The waiter left with my plate and never came back.
The manager came and was very apologetic, he asked who the waiter was, they went to the kitchen to bring back the waiter and he never came back.
After that horrible experience we left. No lunch. Terrible service and we were sooo hungry.
I would never go back there again. This is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in that region. I guess people get used to rude waiters and never complain?

Locked Into Full Meal
Food was just ok, but what got to us was the only choice was an expensive three course lunch. On top of that the smirky Heat Waiter kept hawking wine that we could not take back to the U.S. due to connecting flight TSA requirements. Get a smaller lunch from the other food service outlet and save yourself a lot of pesos. Loved Vina Santa Rita and the museum, but never again this restaurant for u.

All about the atmosphere
The restaurant served an ok meal. The tuna tartare was alright. The salmon for mains was really nice.
What works for Dona Paula are the staff and the beautiful garden at the back where one can sit and have a post-meal coffee.

Visita ai vigneti di Vigna Santa Rita
Il ristorante si trova alli’interno di questa grade azienda produttrice di vini. Non parlerò’ dell‘’ azienda che merita sicuramente una visita ma solo del ristorante. Si trova all’ interno di un cascinale molto ben rifatto. I tavolini sono ben spaziati, anche se non nuovissimi. Ho preso un cordero alto Jahuel ovvero una parte di agnello, cotta al forno ed accompagnata del suo sugo. Il piatto era di media qualita’. Mia moglie ha preso una fricassea di filetto, un piatto molto abbondante . Purtroppo le parti fritte, in particolare dei pezzi di pane o qualcosa di similare erano stati fritti in olio abbondantemente riutilizzato, di conseguenza, il piatto poco mangiabile. Lo stesso discorso per le patatine fritte, immangiabili, almeno per noi Italiani. La scelta dei vini e‘ molto vasta anche se i migliori a prezzi abbastanza cari. Non scegliete quelli a prezzo basso. Prezzo complessivo 60 euro con bicchiere di vino non tra i migliori ma abbondante.

Non abbastanza all'altezza
Per la location in cui si trova e per l'atmosfera chic (prezzi inclusi) in cui si trova, penseresti valga la pena..ma dipende dai punti di vista.
Io ho preso del pollo fritto, una salata di avocado ed un creme caramel.
Nel burro si sentiva parecchio il burro ma la frittura era buona. Ho assaggiato un risotto all'ossobuco però, stracotto. E dei profiteroles che in realtà erano solo bignè in un laghetto di cioccolato aromatizzato al rum.

Luego estupendo, comida regular
Le lieu est superbe. Les vins sont délicieux (excellent rapport qualité prix), mais la cuisine n'est pas à la hauteur. L'entrecôte est de qualité très moyenne (beaucoup trop dure. Il est pourtant possible aujourd'hui, même au Chili, de trouver de l'excellent filet Argentin en supermaché). Nous avons demandé un saumon "semi crudo" et il était très très cuit. Pas de possibilité de remplacer ce plat. Ceci est notre troisième visite à la Santa Rita et nous y retournons volontiers pour le lieu et l'accueil. Le seul problème reste donc la cuisine.

Sehr schön im Weingut gelegen hat doch die Küche, der Service und das Ambiente etwas enttäuscht. Das Essen hat weder in Geschmack noch Darbietung überzeugen können, lediglich die Weinkarte hat mit ihrer Vielfalt an Weinen im Glas und den erfreulich gûnstigen Preisen einen dicken Pluspunkt verdient.
Das Ambiente ist Geschmacksache aber in den kühleren Monaten ist hier wärmere Kleidung empfehlenswert.
