COSTA GALANA. EXCELENTE HOTEL PERO LA GENTE NO SABE CÓMO SE USA EL SPA
El hotel y su personal excelente. Salvo que en el SPA no le indican a la gente que es un lugar de relax. Entonces las personas hablan a los gritos. Mucha gente utiliza el teléfono. Gente mirando videos o partidos de futbol por celular con el volumen altísimo. Es una lástima. Es uno de los mejores hoteles en calidad y atención. Pero el SPA no se puede usar

¡Gran cambio!
Estuvimos en familia el finde pasado y hemos notado un gran cambio. La bienvenida con cositas dulces en la habitación le da un toque ameno, la pastelería sin dudas a mejorado notablemente y la atención del personal es excelente, están en todos los detalles haciendo que la estadía sea muy buena.
Solo una critica, en la pileta exterior, al dejar las toallas en las reposeras uno no sabe si están ocupadas o libres (le pregunte a una chica que estaba de guardavidas y no supo decirme si estaban ocupadas)
El resto, la habitación espaciosa, luminosa y siempre impecable. Todo el blanco en muy buen estado. Amenities completísimas, desayuno super variado y siempre cambiante ademas de las opciones fijas. Spa y pileta limpias y en orden. Personal siempre atento, educados y respetuosos.
¡Felicitaciones Costa Galana! Un gran cambio que los deja parados en el hotel de lujo por excelencia de Mar del Plata.

Todo de 10, la calidez de la atención y el cuidado del más mínimo detalle.
El spa, el desayuno súper variado y abundante. Las camas y almohadas súper confortables. Realmente no encuentro puntos flacos.

Amazing winter escape to Mar del Plata.
We improvised a trip to Mar del Plata and found and excellent deal contacting them directly. The suite had an unbeatable see view, but what made us gave the hotel the 5 stars rating was the employees in all the areas that made our stay enjoyable. We tried the Spa and the massages were excellent, the food was really good too.
I want to mention Denise who welcomed us and helped with reservations, including a stay in the chain new hotel in Buenos Aires.
The hotel needs to be refreshed but it is nothing compare to the level of service, the clean crisp sheets and the comfortable bed.

Highly recommended
Beautiful hotel, attentive and friendly staff. Rooms are well appointed and beds are comfortable, and nothing is too much trouble. I was here for five nights for a Congress and was treated like royalty. Breakfasts are generous with a wide variety of food to choose from. I had lunch and dinner here and there was a great choice - bife de chorizo was cooked perfectly!

Living on past fame
The Hotel is living on past fame, it is currently the most expensive hotel in the city and proud to be a five star, while they only give you a three star experience. The rooms are outdated, the carpet is way too old and there is visible rust, peeling and other lack of maintenance on the bathrooms hardware. We had two of the best suites they offer and the view was very nice though.
The service personnel was at times rude and some grossly untrained. They are enforcing what they call aforo, which is restrictions on capacity and services everywhere, but really what they are doing is offering less with less personnel, they make you reserve one day in advance for breakfast, sauna, pool use etc . When you try to use any of these services, they prevent guests access without reservation even if it is empty at the time. The beach is unusable since they rent all the tents to locals for the whole season, we had to end using a nearby beach club since the Hotel didn't even reserve a few tents for their guests. All this happened on low season, on December 2021, so good luck during high season.
The most brilliant moment was when my father in law ordered a Cognac at the lobby bar and they brought him Fireball, yes fireball, I pointed politely that it was mistaken, and after a few minutes the server came to explain that they thought fireball was the most similar since they ran out of cognac... I hope you get a better stay than me!

Tired and Tarnished
When staff are nice, it is hard to write a harsh review, but this property is a poster child for deferred maintenance. Owners and property managers need to take an audit and understand that to promote this hotel as a five-star property is misleading. Tattered furnishings, torn and soiled carpeting, worn draperies are but the start of what could be a long list of disappointments. For starters, room reserved was not what was delivered. Arriving to a room much smaller and poorly appointed, we asked to view another room with hopes it would be clean. No luck, as I pointed out soiled spots on the carpet similar to our first assigned room. Bathroom fixtures are tarnished , bent, and in need of repair. Lack of electrical outlets don’t meet standards of a fine property. Enough said from one who writes scores of reviews. Suffice it to say that one or two stars need to be removed from the hotel’s signage until the property improves in basic quality standards.

Charged me USD 230 for a night although I did not use their service
I made a reservation for the night of October 7th.. while driving from Buenos Aires to Mar del Plata I had a severe low back pain (Lumbalgia) and had to return to BA.. today I called the hotel to ask whether they had charged me although I didnt show up.. they said they did without offering any alternative.. I think it is really outreageous and not they way put the customers first..

Ho soggiornato diverse volte arrivando dall'Italia in questo incantevole hotel. Pulizia impeccabile, stanza comoda ( soprattutto materasso e cuscino, quest'ultimo si può scegliere tra svariati modelli). Possibilità di zona relax; ristoranti con buona cucina alla carta; personale professionale e disponibile. Unica nota dolente il parrucchiere , probabilmente sono abituata all'Italia ma ho trovato scandaloso che mi spostasse la prenotazione al giorno dopo perché non gli funzionava il phon (un unico asciugacapelli!) in un hotel così prestigioso . Lo consiglio a chiunque volesse soggiornare nella stupenda Mar del Plata. Adriana

Auf jeden Fall ist das Hotel Costa Galana eine gute sehr gute Wahl, es liegt am schöneren Strand MdP's, hat dort einen eigenen Bereich mit Liegen, Schirme und Pool - das kostet aber ein happiges Extra (wir finden für ein 5* Hotel wäre dies eine Selbstverständlichkeit, zumal Beim Pool auf dem Dach max. 30 Gäste Platz finden können). Wir hatten eine jun. Suite mit Meerblick (lohnt sich wegen der Aussicht und dem Sonnenaufgang) die vernünftig dimensioniert war, mit bequemem Bett und gutes Bad, das Frühstücksbuffet gut ausgestattet. Der Service war immer gut, das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Empfehlen können wir auch den Maniküre-Service im Spa.

Abiamo pernottato per due giorni durante un viaggio in Uruguay Hotel ottimo con servizio buono.
camere pulite ottima posizione,vicino alla spiaggia,personale gentile.ora siamo in partenza per la Pampa,.

super hotel face a la mer
Le costa galana est situe avant le port de mar del plata ce qui n'est pas du tout génant car il y a plein de taxi par cher et honnéte ce qui est rare!!!
Un point trés fort sont les petit déjeunés qui sont copieux un buffet remarquable

Gutes Hotel mit Strandzugang
Das 5 Sterne Hotel liegt am Playa Grande, dem Strand der Menschen auf der Sonnenseite des Lebens. Schneller, freundlicher Service beim Chrck inn. Zimmer entspricht dem 5 Sterne Standard mit guter Matratze und sauberem Bad. Der Pool ist etwas klein und die Anzahl der Liegen begrenzt, wer vor 11 an den Pool geht, hat kein Problem und sonst kann man auf den Strand ausweichen,,das Hotel bietet Strandzugang (mit Strassenüberquerung) und Liegen mit Schirm am Strand. ( Kostenpflichtig).
Vorsicht am Wochenende, während unseres Aufenthaltes war genau vor dem Hotel eine Bühne aufgebaut,,die mit Sicherheit Freitag und Samstag die ganze Nacht bespielt wird. Laut!
In der Woche hatten wir kein Problem mit Lärm. Das Frühstück war für argentinische Verhältnisse gut.

forse il più bello hotel della città
Ho pernottato al Costa Galana per 4 gg durante un viaggio in Argentina e Patagonia. l'Hotel è elegante e gode anche di un'ottima posizione (basta attraversare la strada e si scende in spiaggia). Ottimo anche il servizio (le camere vengono pulite 2 volte a giorno). Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile.
