- What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.

We had 1 night stay but the hotel property is very Well maintained and rooms were clean and recommend to other ladies also travelling to Varanasi. Location is little far from temple etc.

Elegant hotel with awesome food at their restaurant
A quiet and comfortable hotel tucked in one of the busy main roads of Benaras. The hotel has a good location with multiple choices of public travel (Uber, Ola, local autos and e-rickshaws) to reach the temples, ghats and local shopping areas.
The hotel has an elegant aura that makes you feel immediately welcomed with neat and spacious rooms.
The staff are very efficient and polite and forthcoming to share local details when asked.
Amongst the best things that will take me back again to the hotel on my next visit are the hotel's respect for guest's privacy and the excellent food at their restaurant.

Hotel and booking agent refuse refund and poor customer service
ClearTrip have not supported me in getting a refund for Le Lotus Grand that I didn't stay in, which was booked through them. I had two nights booked from 9th - 11t October with my mum. When we arrived at the Le Lotus Grand in Varanasi, I checked in and gave them our passports as they take copies for security. We were then shown to our room which was not what the reviews or photos described. There was terrible damp in the bathroom as well as in the walls and ceiling of the bedroom. The curtains were filthy too and we did not feel comfortable staying in the hotel. I spoke to the hotel manager and requested a refund to check out. He said that I had to deal with ClearTrip because I had made the booking with them and he was unable to authorise anything. We checked out of the hotel and I emailed ClearTrip on 9th October with the details and explained the reason for leaving. As we did not use the hotel, I asked for more details about their refund policy. 6 days later, I got a reply saying they couldn't give me a refund because it was a past booking. This wasn't true - I had emailed them on the day of check in to explain everything and their customer service was so appalling. They said that the hotel had said we were a no show which was a lie. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided both by the hotel and by ClearTrip who have offered not support at all. I can't afford to lose the money for two nights in a hotel that we didn't stay in.
