Hotel Le Soleil

Wir sind Stammgäste und kommen jedes Jahr in der Vorsaison ins Le Soleil, wenn Lido di Jesolo noch nicht so voll ist.
Das Hotel ist nach unserer Meinung das Beste vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es wird jedes Jahr investiert, sodass das Hotel in einem top Zustand ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen lässt keine Wünsche offen.

I stayed at ‘Le Soleil Hotel’, Lido di Jesolo with my wife and adult daughter from 26 Sept to 01 Oct 2023 towards the end of the Holiday Season when the hotel and resort were not very busy.

Overall Summary

I would recommend this hotel for couples or families (we did not see many children) that do not wish to stay in Venice itself but prefer to stay on a beach resort with easy access for day trips into Venice and other tourist places. If you wish to stay longer in Venice in the evenings, then I recommend the Bed & Breakfast option as dinner closes by 9pm.
The Hotel location is excellent; the back of the hotel is right on the beach with a walking pathway alongside other similar hotels. The front of the hotel is 5 minutes walk from a ‘strip’ comprising a string of restaurants (mostly pizza, pasta and seafood), pharmacies and tourist shops.

Most importantly the hotel is within 5 minutes walk of a Tabbacci (Tobacco) shop where you can buy combined bus and ferry tickets for Venice. The No 5 Bus Stop for Punta Sabbioni ferry point is a few minutes further next to the hotel Miami. The bus takes approximately 30 minutes each way to Punta Sabbioni and from there, the ferry to San Marco Zaccharia A (via Lido) ferry stop in Venice takes approximately 40 minutes. Return ferries and buses run late into the night but we had to return to the hotel by 8pm in time for dinner. We enjoyed the bus and ferry journeys, had to remember to validate our tickets at the machines on entrance for all journeys!

The Hotel has clean, comfortable rooms, reasonable facilities such as a swimming pool at the back, a restaurant (serving breakfast, lunch and dinner) with a pleasant terrace overlooking the swimming pool with views of the beach and sea and a bar serving drinks post dinner. The staff (with some exceptions) have limited English but were pleasant and helpful.

Special mention here to Bruno who I believe was the Restaurant Manager and who took our orders for dinner (at breakfast), he always made time to speak to us; Dario in the restaurant who spoke excellent English (Stayed and worked in London Hotels) and was always helpful bringing tea/coffee to our table and chatting with us generally; Also Aurora at reception who checked us in on arrival. Must mention the curly haired young man at dinner whose name I did not take but always remembered that I had German Beer for dinner, which was much appreciated.

One thing to mention was when we arrived late back from Venice one evening and missed the restaurant closing time by a few minutes. Considering that we had paid for the dinner, it would have been a nice gesture for Bruno to have requested the kitchen to provide us with something simple such as a pizza, instead of turning us away and suggesting that we get our dinner elsewhere, we found this disappointing.

Positives

• Excellent location, close to a strip of shops and the Tabbachi shop (to buy bus and ferry tickets) and the bus stop to catch the No 5 bus to Punta Sabbioni en route to Venice. You can buy just return bus and ferry tickets for 25.20 Euros / ticket or bus and all day Vaporetti tickets for 31.20 Euros / ticket.
• A nice sandy beach with sun beds at the back and a path parallel to the beach for pleasant walks in the morning. There is a well maintained swimming pool at the back but we did not get the chance to use this.
• Our room was a family room, a good size, well cleaned and with comfortable beds, view of the road at the front as a sea view room was unavailable. Decent sized bathroom but weak shower.
• Decent restaurant serving excellent breakfasts each morning (between 7:30am and 10:00am), cooked items such as sausages, eggs, bacon as well as cakes, croissants, fruits, yoghurts, tea and coffee. Restaurant also opens for lunch where various items may be ordered from the menu.
• Dinner is served restaurant style, allocated same table each night with your room number; you select from a menu at breakfast. There is a buffet style salad bar with plenty of variety. The food caters to mostly Italian or European tastes and was generally tasty with some exceptions.
• The staff at reception, restaurants and the cleaners were generally pleasant and helpful.
• A good bar serving a wide range of drinks with enthusiastic staff and drinks could be had on the pleasant terrace area at the back overlooking the swimming pool. We could pay for our drinks at the time or charge them to our room.

Room for Improvement

I have suggested areas for improvement below that would have made our stay more pleasant and I am sure for other guests as well.

There are no kettles provided to make tea or coffee in the rooms; I needed hot water for medicinal purposes and had to get it from the restaurant and carry to my room. Mineral Water is provided on arrival (in the fridge) but you have to replenish yourself by purchasing bottles from outside.
The electric sockets were a little odd (our standard UK to Europe adapters were too thick) and luckily we got some adapters from reception so we could plug in our UK based appliances.

No mineral water or complimentary house wine included with dinner; all drinks were extra. The wines were quite expensive so we stuck to water or to the very smooth German beer that they served. A bottle of water / wine would have been appreciated to accompany dinner.

The restaurant timings could be extended particularly for dinner, where you had to be seated by 8:30pm (stop serving at 9pm) which is very tight if you are trying to return from a day trip to Venice. If you are late then there are no room service options; extending closing time for dinner would be helpful.

There was no atmosphere at dinner time, it was very quiet and formal; the guests were mostly middle aged European couples, maybe that is the standard type of guest at this hotel; some background music would have been better. We did meet an English couple from Essex on our last morning when we were leaving for the airport; would have been good to have met up with them earlier.
The hotel has no evening entertainment, music or live band; maybe not expected for a 3 or 4 Star Hotel. There were some lively German guests one night with piano music on the terrace!

Très belle chambre, fonctionnelle, équipée d'un balcon. L'hôtel donne directement sur la plage. Au coeur d'un quartier touristique, restaurants et markets à proximité directe. Buffet petit-déjeuner très bien garni, toutefois la grande salle de repas est très bruyante (accueil de groupes).

An exceptionally clean and comfortable hotel with helpful staff. The views over the sea and the central location to restaurants and local amenities were great. The local bus stop that takes you down to the port to catch the boat to Venice is just around the corner. Very good breakfast, lots of options and plentiful, refreshed continually right up to the end of service. The staff very friendly and helpful. The pools clean and a pleasure to swim in. This was the second time we stayed and for us, the first time we’ve ever revisited a hotel and holiday destination for a second time. We were slightly worried as we’d enjoyed our first stay and wondered if it would live up to what w wanted but e weren’t disappointed at all. Really happy with our stay and although we want to keep trying different places, we will most certainly return.

Breve vacanza di tre giorni, ma sono bastati per scoprire questo splendido hotel frontemare molto pulito e curato, con servizi all'altezza di un VERO 4 stelle . Colazione con ricco buffet con una piacevole terrazza sul mare e un' ottima cucina. Tutto il personale gentile ed efficiente. Una nota particolare per il maìtre Bruno che si distingue per la sua gentilezza e bravura nel gestire la sala e i suoi collaboratori.
Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Me and my fiancé stayed the week of the 18th September, hotel was absolutely beautiful so pretty when you walk into the front of the hotel and the view from the bar and veranda was unbelievable pool and beach view everyday to look at ! Everything was super clean the staff were always cleaning after breakfast lunches round the pool . Our room was a standard double room on the 2nd floor so we could see partial of the sea front we did request a sea view before booking and did ask at the reception desk if we could change but unfortunately we weren’t able to which wasn’t a big problem because we still could see the sea front and it was just us 2 the room was spacious big balcony. I would say the shower was very small my Fiancé is 6ft 2 but wasn’t a problem . The rooms were cleaned every day and always smelt super fresh . Air con and shutters are brill . The weather was cloudy and humid but more towards to last few days we got the hot sun so the air con came in even handier! We were b&b so had breakfast every morning the staff were always replenishing the food it was alway hot a pretty good selection to chose from and the staff where always cleaning tables ready for the next family’s etc . We went out to eat for our meals every night I would advise checking the area first some restaurants are more expensive than others we did find our favourite restaurant “ Al Vecchio Violino” I think it just depends what you want to eat or to try . Each time the food was superb where we went . I would definitely have a walk up and down both sides of the “strip” as we called it . We went into Venice and got the bus and ferry tickets from the Tobacco shop just in the square as you came out the hotel I would 100% recommend doing it while you are there . The only downside is €10 each for a sunbed round the pool but you got 2 free sunbeds and a umbrella on the beach . Both pools were always clean and every time we got some drinks from the pool bar they always give us little bowls of crisps for free to snack on while we had a drink . I would definitely recommend to stay here and would definitely be coming back in the future . Staff where super friendly always greeted with good morning , afternoon or evening . Reading the reviews prior to coming they were mixed but we didn’t have any problems . Considering we went late in the season there was lots of mosquitos I would definitely take some spray ! It’s left a special place in our heart for sure .

A great place to relax. Everything is clean, cozy, tasteful. The staff is polite and friendly. There were no complaints about cleaning. Excellent restaurant in the hotel. The town is very pleasant, the beaches are clean and equipped

Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist. Parkplätze stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Falls man keinen Parkplatz findet, wird das Fahrzeug vor bereits parkierten Fahrzeugen abgestellt. Anschliessend wird es immer wieder vom Personal vor Ort bewegt, da die Besitzer auschecken o.ä. Bis ein Parkplatz frei wird muss man also den Schlüssel abgeben. Bei einem teureren Fahrzeug sicher ein Problem für den Besitzer, da nicht klar ist wer dann für einen allfälligen Schaden haftet. Das Einchecken verlief problemlos, wir erhielten ein Zimmer ohne Balkon. Dies war jedoch bereits bei der Buchung klar. Die Betten sind sehr hart. Wir waren zu 4. D.h. 2 Personen müssen in einem Doppelstock Bett schlafen, was bereits in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die restliche Ausstattung vom Zimmer sieht jeweils renoviert, jedoch auch etwas abgenutzt aus. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, in der ersten Nacht sind Gäste um 3.30 Uhr eingecheckt (sorry, wer checkt so spät in einem Hotel ein?). Wir konnten bis um 5.00 Uhr nicht schlafen, die Türen wurden zugeknallt, das Telefon klingelte im Zimmer, es wurde sehr laut gesprochen. Man muss bereit sein, hellhörige Zimmer zu akzeptieren. Beim Morgenessen wird man von Bruno (welcher bereits vor 4 Jahren hier war, bei unserem letzten Besuch) bezüglich dem Abendessen angefragt. Es gibt 3 Gänge und pro Gang jeweils 5-6 Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Das bietet den Vorteil, dass beim Abendessen jeweils sehr zügig das Essen auf dem Tisch steht. Die Pool-Liegen sind nicht dabei und kosten pro Tag 10Euro. Die Strandliegen sind inkl., wir haben auch einen Stuhl mitgekriegt. Diesen konnten wir teilweise auch vorne direkt am Strand nutzen, um uns hinzusetzen. Sehr praktisch. Der Strand liegt etwa 50m vom Hotel entfernt.

Die Sauberkeit generell im Hotel und im Zimmer ist sehr gut. Dies ist auch der Grund, wieso dieses Hotel gewählt wurde

Hotel sehr schön tolle Lage. Personal leider total unfreundlich und nicht aufmerksam. Mann kann am Empfang stehen und wird nicht beachtet obwohl drei Angestellte da sind. Mit kinderwagen sehr umständlich weil es überall Treppen hat oder alles mit Autos zugeparkt ist. Essen war sehr schlecht dass wir nach dem dem zweiten Tag Halbpension abbestellt haben. Morgenbuffet eine Riesen Auswahl aber nicht frisch. Sehr schade Preis Leistung stimmt für uns nicht. Würden es nicht mehr buchen.

Très bon séjour (deux nuits dans l Hôtel) pour la visite de Venise, voyage en bus jusqu’à l embarcadère pour Venise en 25 minutes. Arrivée à Venise en Vaporeto superbe.
Bon choix car ce 4 étoiles et très confortable sur la plage , les chambres avec terrasses et vue sur les piscines et la plage sont au top
Restaurant sur place d’un très bon niveau avec un personnel au petit soin, petit déjeuner copieux et varié.

Super Lage direkt am Strand mit eigenen fest zugeteilten Liegen, seltsam das am Pool die Liegen 10€ pro Tag kosten. Zimmer etwas klein, aber das wußten wir ja bei der Buchung. Frühstücksbüffet ist super, eine Riesenauswahl, auch alles laktosefrei. Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist wirklich schön. Der Spa-Bereich ist klein, aber fein im 6.OG mit einer Sauna und einem Dampfbad und Ruheraum mit Meerblick. Getränkepreise an der Poolbar und abends auf der Terrasse sind sehr fair. Das Parken hat super funktioniert, man muss halt 1 Std. Bevor man das Auto braucht, Bescheid sagen, dann wird das Auto aus der hintersten Parkplatzecke herausgeholt.Abends ist man in 10-15 min. In unzähligen guten Restaurants. Personal spricht gut Deutsch.

Wir blieben 3 Nächte und waren hoch zufrieden, mit Service Personal, Essen, Frühstück alles mehr als ausreichend, riesige Wein Auswahl alles perfekt. Schöne geräumige Zimmer, schöner Terrasse wir waren ganz oben. Wir hatten einen Gala-Abend vom Feinsten mit Musik eines Solisten der Stimmung schaffte, alle tanzten

Un hôte à recommander vivement:
1: respect des mesures sanitaires (bavette,désinfectant...), propriété rien à dire.
2:personnels souriants,respectueux et professionnels
3: restauration variée et délicieuse
4: animation pour les enfants irréprochable surtout les trois animateurs "Tata, Sana et Jamel"
Un séjour à refaire bien évidemment.

Tres bel hôtel, personnel accueillant et chambres propres. Bien situé a 2 pas de la plage. Les repas sont excellent et variés et la piscine est chauffée. Seul bémol c est le cout supplémentaire des chaises longues à la piscine.

Séjour touristique (2010). Hôtel de charme et de prestige. L'hôtel en lui-même est agréable et spacieux. Les chambres sont équipées et confortables mais ce qui est incontournable, c'est la plage où après vous êtes restaurés le soir, vous pouvez aller vous balader sur la plage et la journée, vous pourrez soit y aller ou aller à la piscine.

La gente muy amable desde nuestra llegada hasta nuestra partida, sobre todo el maitre Bruno. Seguro volveremos 😃. Un saludo también para los camareros que son jóvenes y atentos. La habitación estaba estupenda en fin las instalaciones muy bien.

atencion a. la. hora de pernotar una habitacion por telefono porq yo llame i me dijeron hab. por dos personas 65 euro, i a la hora de pagar pues era a 65 pero por personas , deben ser MAS claros a. la. hora de indicar precio.............

Excelente hotel . La atención en recepción excepcional , hicieron lo imposible por conseguirnos alojamiento . Las habitaciones confortables y modernas, buenas camas . Los baños correctos. Respecto de la comida , se puede contratar con media pensión o con desayuno solo, nosotros contratamos con media pensión y la atención excelente , destacable el maitre, educado, simpático y encantador. La comida excelente , con entrada, primer plato , segundo y postre , con 4 o5 variantes para elegir, más un salad bar. El desayuno de los más completos que he visto y de calidad. La piscina linda, con yacuzzi , cada habitación tiene una sombrilla con 3 reposteras en la playa que da directo al mar ya que es privada , pero las reposteras en la piscina se deben pagar por día , igual es un precio razonable.

Es un hotel de playa, lejos de la atraccion turística de Venecia. No nuevo pero si con mantenimiento y las habitaciones si tuvieron actualización en sus muebles y terminaciones, son cómodas y chiquitas idem TV Baño cómodo y completo. Internet gratis solo en el looby. Desayuno normal. Atencíon buena aunque sea con poco personal.
