Wonderful stay , clean rooms , well discipline staff, location is also very good , near Karol Bagh market, metro
it was my first tour. I got services in this hotel much better than other hotel . It was really great experience. I would like to say thanks to all employees of hotel. Service person, housekeeping staff and manager are really very help full. You will get clean rooms , clean restaurant with multiple breakfast items.

Good value in a convenient location
This hotel is located in a busy area of Delhi and not frequented by international visitors. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, spoke English well, and responded to requests very quickly. The beds were comfortable, though rooms on the front were a bit noisy from the street below. The location is convenient for many things, including access to the Metro system and lots of local shopping.

Great staff
We visited twice, in October and November, for a total of 7 nights. The first room had numerous problems but the staff was responsive and quick to fix most issues. The rooms are a little seedy but fine. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent and bottled water plentiful.

Local Experience, Great Prices, Friendly Staff
If you want a truly local experience of India, stay here! The SunStar Grand hotel is located in an authentic Indian neighborhood with all of the sounds, smells, shops, and sites to get a truly local experience. I brought a group of 22 people for 6 days. The staff were extremely helpful. When some things didn't work in a room, they rapidly fixed it or arranged to change rooms. Expectations in India have to be different from our USA and Canada expectations. And yet the service was beyond! I found the staff to be beyond accommodating. There was not one staff member who did not provide exemplary service even for our sometimes strange requests. The Day Manager was particularly kind, accommodating, helpful and extremely pleasant. We would stay here again and recommend that you do too. We will make it our Delhi home base from now on.

I loved the local market right out the door. The Krishna Pharmacy around the corner is wonderful! Misthi Doi from the Mother Dairy is beyond delicious. I bought fruit and sudries for the group a few steps away in the neighborhood.

The rooms are clean and neat. My only request would be that we Americans like top sheets to sleep under. Once we asked for it, it was provided.

COMFORTABLE STAY
My stay at Hotel Sunstar Grand was very comfortable. Room was spacious and well decorated. Bed was comfortable. Service staff was very courteous and helpful , Wi-Fi was complimentary. Location was near the market and metro station. Buffet breakfast was filling.

Buena estancia
Llegamos al hotel de madrugada y tardamos un poco en poder realizar el check-in. La habitación era amplia y estaba limpia. Al llegar encontramos dos botellas de agua y también había la posibilidad de poder hacerte té o café en la habitación.
La verdad que tuvimos buena estancia.

Entrée clinquante, les chambres au rdc (g5) sont petites avec salle de bain minuscule, le lavabo est un lave mains (changé pour chambre au 3ème)
Les chambres au 3ème (304&305) sont sans fenêtres, c'est mieux pour le bruit.

Hotel non disponible car en renovation
Grosse surprise en arrivant en pleine nuit devant l hotel. Un veilleur de nuit nous indique que cet hotel est en renovation et que nous sommes heberges dans un autre hotel a 2 minutes a pied. Personne ne nous a prevenu. Le service de l hotel en remplacement etait de bien moins bonne qualite que la description de l hotel grand sunstar.

A parte la gentilezza del ragazzo alla reception, pessimo hotel
Mi hanno prenotato una stanza Deluxe, letto grande, ma lenzuola un po' sporche, porte di legno vecchie e mal tenute, spazi comuni orrendi, puzza di fumo in camera, acqua fredda nella doccia, colazione allucinante in terrazza, scarsissima e solo cibo indiano....con gli stessi soldi o anche meno potete trovare molto di meglio a Delhi!

Cuidado viajeros, aquí roban !.
El hotel es viejo y muy básico pero está ubicado muy cerca de la zona comercial de Karol Bagh. Durante el mes de viaje estuvimos en total 6 noches, 5 personas, en 2 habitaciones. Al principio todo parecía bien. Pero luego nos quisieron cobrar 50 dólares por el equipaje en guarda mientras íbamos a Agra (3 maletas pequeñas). Nuestra Agencia se incomodó y lo impidió. Al regresar de Agra para las últimas 2 noches, estábamos contando dinero sobre el escritorio cuando entraron dos de los muchachos con el equipaje. En actitud imperativa y hablando fuerte (en hindi, claro) nos hicieron mover unos pasos, acomodaron alborotando mucho. Nos extrañó, les pedimos que salieran hasta terminar lo que hacíamos. Cuando volvimos a mirar, faltaba un billete de 100 dólares. Todo ocurrió en un momento.

Por supuesto hablamos con el gerente Somem. Él identificó con certeza al empleado y sabe que miente descaradamente pero lo protege, tal vez porque comparten los robos. (Nos preguntó si con seguridad vimos al joven con la mano sobre los billetes … !). Sospechosamente al día siguiente, el último de nuestro viaje, el bufet del desayuno que teníamos incluido estuvo vacío, no hubo comida, pan, jugo, chai, ni siquiera mesero. Hicimos el check out al mediodía como correspondía pero solicitamos dejar por 5 horas en la habitación más pequeña, un compañero muy mayor que estaba enfermo. Al principio el gerente se negó, luego aceptó dando a entender que lo hacía en compensación por el robo. Pero al salir al aeropuerto le cobró al enfermo 2,000 rupias extras !!. O sea más caro que la tarifa de la habitación por día/ noche completos.

En síntesis, aquí hay deshonestidad, engaño, timo y un gerente débil, sin ningún control sobre su personal. No sabe proteger al viajero ni cuidar sus clientes ni cumplir con las Agencias que le envían turismo. Cuidado porque el hotel no es confiable y ningún viajero merece estos disgustos y maltratos.

Esto parece ser un intento de difamar nuestra imagen y estamos bastante sorprendidos por lo mismo. El cargo de $ 50 para el almacenamiento de equipaje se informó cuando usted insistió en que su lugga se almacenara en una de las habitaciones que asignamos a los clientes en lugar del área normal de almacenamiento de equipaje. Esto fue informado al agente cuando habían llamado. Nuestras instalaciones de almacenamiento de luggaes siempre han sido gratuitas por hasta 5 días y están sujetas a algunas condiciones. Y su equipaje fue almacenado sin cargo alguno.

Con respecto a la factura de $ 100 que faltaba, usted había hecho una acusación similar en el hotel, pero el día después de que ocurriera el supuesto incidente. Todas nuestras grabaciones de cctv se verificaron y no encontramos irregularidades en parte de nuestro equipo. Nuestro equipo ha estado trabajando con nosotros durante mucho tiempo y estamos seguros de su honestidad. El hecho de que estuviera contando sus facturas podría significar que podría haberlas gastado o perdido antes de ingresar al hotel. Sospechaste de los miembros de nuestro equipo, los revisaron minuciosamente y no se encontró ningún elemento de ese tipo en ellos. Debido a que su reclamación no era segura y se basó en suposiciones (esa es la razón por la que nos contactó al respecto al día siguiente), no pudimos continuar con el tema. Hemos proporcionado un casillero en la habitación donde podría haber guardado fácilmente sus objetos de valor. Estamos muy horrorizados por su comentario de que nuestro gerente podría estar involucrado, hizo todo lo que pudo y también involucró a la gerencia en la investigación. Revisé personalmente las grabaciones pero no pude localizar nada mal.

En relación con el problema en el desayuno, hemos revisado nuestros registros y hemos comprobado que el desayuno bufé se había distribuido y que usted tenía el mismo. La sala que se extendió se extendió no por 5 horas sino por 7:30 horas, y tampoco se asumió ningún compromiso con respecto a lo mismo. Se le informó de los cargos y solo cuando acordó lo mismo se amplió la sala.

Estamos muy decepcionados por este intento de dañar nuestra imagen y lo condenamos.

Sympa mais un peu bruyant
Chambres très propres, spacieuses, wi fi. Petit dejeuner excellent avec choix énorme. Piscine intérieure tres propre et agréable. Personnel très sympathique et attentionné. Seul bémol, un peu bruyant, on entend les voix venant du couloir. A 10 minutes à pied du métro Karol Bagh.

Hotel in buona zona, centrale a Delhi e non mal frequentata. E' un hotel mediamente pulito e ben tenuto, stanze grandi e confortevoli con a/c, una bella terrazza.
Colazione abbastanza varia e abbondante e personale davvero cortese.
E' un'ottima soluzione per una/due notti max a Delhi.
Alla reception ci hanno anche arrangiato i trasporti per l'aeroporto con i taxi.
Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Viaje a la Indias
Hotel Grand Sunstar, muy sencillo para las opiniones leídas hasta la visita realizada. No teníamos ventana y por supuesto nada de ventilación.

El desayuno correcto pero la zona no es la mejor para salir de noche, esa fue la indicación de nuestro guía.

Albergo in ottima zona/quartiere con vicino una stazione della metropolitana
L'albergo ha camere un po datate ma pulite e dotate di ogni comfort (non così scontato per gli standard indiani) c'è sia frigo, sia AC, sia ventola, nel nostro bagno c'era una comoda vasca da bagno e mai avuto problemi con l'acqua calda, personale disponibile, è possibile usufruire di navetta aeroportuale a prezzi davvero bassi e in loco hanno anche una piccola agenzia di viaggi per organizzare tour di Delhi. Un po da migliorare la colazione, come ambiente e come scelta dei cibi. Ottimo il ristorante in terrazza.

Immer gut
Sehr zuvorkommemdes Personal. Bietet auch Taxidienste an. Schöne, stilvoll eingerichtete Zimmer.Einzig der Speisesaal ist nicht so gemütlich, doch werden Bestellungen auch ins Zimmer serviert.
Für mich ist das Hotrl wunderbar zum Ankommen, bevor ich in drn Norden weiterreise, undnzum Abschließen, bevor ich wieder in den Westen zurückkehre.

Excelente hotel
Excelente atención y disposición del personal. Son gente muy amable y atenta, que intenta ayudarte en lo que uno necesita, desde localizarte un medio de transporte o señalarle los puntos de mayor interés. El lugar es limpio y fresco. Bella terraza para distraerte y cenar.

Sightseeing New Delhi
Ich war mit meiner Familie in diesen Hotel für 5 Nächte der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm das Personal sehr hilfsbereit , das Frühstückbüffet war gut , Zimmerausstattung auch gut . Wenn wir Hilfe brauchten wurde geholfen.

Holpriger Start, der sich zum besten wendete
Wir hatten das Hotel in einer lokalen App gesehen, da wir diesmal nicht am Main Bazar die letzten Tage verbringen wollten. Um dem Anbieter Gebühren zu ersparen und auch erst einmal einen ersten eigenen Eindruck zu erhalten, haben wir uns das Hotel vor Ort angeschaut.

Die Bediensteten waren etwas im Stress, weil großer Abreisetag war. Laut App waren genug Zimmer frei, laut Personal nicht. Nachdem wir es in der App zeigten, waren dann doch Zimmer frei. Aber nur, wenn man in der App bucht. Vor Ort ginge das nicht. Für deutsche nicht so ganz zu verstehen.
Wir waren etwas skeptisch und haben uns nach einem Frühstück, zu dem wir dann eingeladen worden sind, alles nach der Abreise der Gäste angeschaut. Schließlich entschlossen wir uns dazu, gleich für 3 Nächte zu buchen.

Die Tage darauf waren super. Das Personal mehr als freundlich und zuvorkommend, Wasser auf kosten des Hauses wenn wir das Hotel verlassen haben, ein mehr als aufmerksamer Frühstücks-Concierge, die Zimmer sehr geräumig und sauber. Was auch für das Badezimmer galt, was uns sehr wichtig ist. Das Essen auf der Dachterrasse ist auch zu empfehlen, wenn man nicht weiter weg will. Ab Bestellung bis zum auftischen dauert es aber schon eine weile, dann kommt aber alles schnell nacheinander.

Haben von den Angestellten auch viele Tipps für die Gestaltung der letzten Tage vor Ort bekommen, ohne das typische (mein Bruder/Onkel hat macht, Du bekommst "special Price" etc. Getue).

Wir haben uns soweit äußerst wohl gefühlt.

Hotel medio para una estancia cómoda en Delhi
A destacar la buena disposición del personal y la cocina. El restaurante en la terraza es capaz de preparar buenos platos según se piden, nada está precocinado. La piscina es meramente testimonial, a mi parecer.

Ein perfekter Ort für den Aufenthalt in New-Delhi
Nachdem wir lange nach einer guten Unterkunft in New-Delhi gesucht haben sind wir auf das Hotel Sunstar Grand gestoßen.
Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen dachten wir uns hier schauen wir mal rein.
Und was sollen wir sagen? Perfekt !!!
Das Personal ist super nett, erst mal sind wir beim reinkommen mit frischen kalten kostenloses Wasser versorgt worden weil es so warm ist.
Einschecken eigentlich erst ab 12 Uhr, wir waren schon um 8 Uhr da weil wir gerade aus den Bergen gekommen sind.
Und was war? Ja, kein Problem gebt uns eine Stunde Zeit um das Zimmer vorzubereiten in der Zwischenzeit könnt ihr schon mal was Frühstück.
Das Zimmer war super sauber, die Betten sind gemütlich, die Klimaanlage funktioniert, das Badezimmer war ebenfalls sehr sauber und geräumig mit vernünftigen Wasserdruck und sogar einer Badewanne.
Duschgel, Shampoo, Seife, frische Handtücher, Klopapier alles mehr als benötigt vorhanden und jeden Tag wieder aufgefüllt.
Solch einen Service haben wir bei dem Preis gar nicht erwartet. Da können sich die meisten Hotels in Delhi eindeutig eine Scheibe von abschneiden.
WLAN ist überall im Haus vorhanden und auch das Internet ist mit konstanten 3 MBit wirklich flott.
Das Frühstück ist gut, jeden Tag gibt es eine andere Auswahl aus kleinen warmen Speisen. Dazu Kaffe, Tee, Saft, Wasser und die üblichen Sachen wie Toast usw. Rührei, Omelett und andere Sachen werden frisch gemacht und ist auch alles mit drin.
Das Personal ist sehr Serviceorientiert, eigentlich bräuchte man noch nicht mal vom Tisch aufstehen sondern bekommt alles gebracht, da hab ich aber schon selbst ein schlechtes Gewissen und stehe lieber selber auf :-)
Das Hotel ist in einer sehr ruhigen und sauberen Straße gelegen, so das man von Trubel der hier in Delhi herrscht absolut nichts mitbekommt, hier kann man nach einem anstrengenden Tag wieder in aller Ruhe runterkommen.
Auch einen Pool hat das Hotel, dieser ist zwar im Keller, dafür aber auch sauber und man kann ohne schlechtes Gewissen mal da reinspringen.
Alles in allem können wir das Hotel nur empfehlen, wir haben hier 2 Nächte verbracht und werden definitiv beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Delhi wieder hier einkehren.

Ach ja, als kleinen Tipp. Installiert euch Uber.
Es ist die beste Möglichkeit stressfrei alle interessierten Orte in Delhi zu erreichen.
Und billiger geht es auch nicht, mit einem Tuk-Tuk werdet ihr als Tourist mehr bezahlen und müsst jedes Mal um den Preis feilschen. Bei Uber bekommt ihr den Preis gleich angezeigt.
Bei einer Strecke von drei Kilometern kommt ihr auf unter hundert Rupien. Das bekommt ihr anders nicht hin außer mit der Metro was aber auch schon wieder recht stressig ist.

So das soll nun an dieser Stelle reichen.
Wir hoffen wir können auch mit dieser Bewertung allen ein wenig helfen und wünschen euch einen guten Aufenthalt in Indien

Gutes Hotel
Ich kann das hotel sehr empfehlen. Der Service und das Essen sind gut. Das Hotelzimmer war immer sauber und ordentlich eingerichtet. Da das hotel nur eibige gehminuten von der Metro enfernt ist, konnten wir alles problemlos und komfortabel erreichen.
