Been let down
Just returned from the Jaal riad resort , when we arrived the reception is stunning so it’s sets you up for a good experience , their was three different groups who arrived , one group was given refreshments and a snack then the waiter disappeared and that was it . We were supposed to have a garden room but was told we had been upgraded . Arrived in the room bedroom area was ok , furniture was looking tired , bed no problem nice clean looking bedding ,and comfortable. Worst tea tray I have every seen , only earl grey tea bags, no milk sugar coffee , mugs were not clean looking and one had a big chip on the side , only water in the fridge , no soft drinks . Toilet and bathroom were separate, toilet was really in need of renovation , stain on the toilet seat , toilet brush looked like it had seen better days . The bathroom was better , good toiletries supplied , but the bathroom mirror needed a proper clean not only half way up . First night in the dining room they couldn’t do enough for you keeping you topped up with water and wine . Food only the first night so was finding our way around it was fine . After the first night restaurant was hit and miss . You have to go and get your tea ( still only earl grey ) , breakfast was never really hot, I was lucky I like eggs so had a omelette , waffles were over cooked and chewy , the juice containers were either empty or clogged up , not enough cutlery , I ask a waiter for a spoon he said ok , never came back , so I had to hunt for one, food was not labelled, bread and pastries were lovely that’s the upside . Went in for one lunch in the whole week , service was non existent. Loved the pool restaurant only serves food between 3 and 5 we ate there most days . We found a supermarket for more supplies . Bar room was very tastefully done drinks were limited as what you could have on all inclusive , and come eleven o’clock if you didn’t pay for your drinks it was bedtime . Entertainment was poor, would had been nice to see some traditional acts . We went to the Italian restaurant one night , you had to pay a supplement on some of the food which was worth it as it was lovely and only cost £24 . It was the attention to detail that spoilt our stay here , we have stayed at a lot of hotels and though parts of the hotel are very nicely done , when you look beyond it’s where it is let down ,

Great for plane spotters
I spent 3 nights here on a work trip that I won with a number of colleagues.
Our room was fine, others had no hairdryer (ours worked but was IMO unsafe) our safe also worked but others didn't even though this was noted to reception (on both matters).
Beds were comfy, showers were a little hit and miss (I had a nice shower) my colleague who I was sharing with ended up with a cold shower. The toilet paper was thin and poor quality.
Very close to the airport (10mins) and approx 10-15 mins to the main square
Food was generally good but very repetitive on the buffet. Visited The Cat on the last nite, nice meal (Italian) but I've had better and the service was a little slow. The best food was from the pool bar.
Overall the hotel is not a 5 star more a 3 or 4 star. It rained heavliy a number of nights and paint from the wood trellis above our balcony flaked heavily, over the floor and seats. The floor is a tiled mosiac and bits were easily lifted in our room and hallway. There were raw plugs hanging out of the bathroom wall. And the tiling around the pool area was slippery when wet.
Some planes flew over as early as 6.30am

We visited this hotel recently with some friends for a three night stay on the whole the hotel was very good if I’m honest I would put it at a three stroke four rating the reasons for this are not because of the hotel if I was scoring the hotel I would put it at a four.The hotel is well kept the decor was very tastful and in keeping with the area however the issues we found were the speech with hotel employees was a million miles apart hardly anybody spoke English let alone good English I also heard people were put out by bad attitudes of certain hotel workers although I didn’t experience that myself.The other things we found awkward was the all inclusive wasn’t ALL inclusive there is a separate menu for all inclusive so if you want a nice properly made cocktail you have to pay now I kind of get this as you hear about this a lot but for gods sake state it when purchasing your accommodation and add a premium price to it or it’s going to come back and bite you.The other things we didn’t like we’re only two tea bags in room (earl grey) no milk and two sugar lumps we are English we like our tea the other thing is plastic cups around the bar area where they also do food now I might be getting picci but there was a group of Canadians on the next table obviously not inclusive and obviously tipping far to much but they were getting glasses not plastic cups. They also put out food for anybody to eat late afternoon but literally as soon as they walk away the birds are on it. I have put some pictures on I have included both menus so you can see the difference in drinks.I hope this helps on your decision on picking a hotel I’m not saying it’s a bad hotel I’m just pointing out some bad points that could be changed to make it a great hotel.

Magnifique hôtel style Riad
Je suis outré de voir les mauvais commentaires sur cet hôtel, il est magnifique, chambre belle et confortable, restaurant au top, déco digne d’un palace.. bref qualité prix je donne 5 étoiles !!

Magnifique hôtel
Hotel magnifique, buffet variés pour tout les goûts et toutes les envies.
Nous avons passer 5 jours dans cet hôtel.
Le personnel est très agréable, souriant et à l'écoute.
Les chambres sont très bien, le lit est très confortable.
Piscine énorme mais pas chauffer.
Petit bémol pour nous il nous a manquer une animation qui bouge le soir.
Il y a une chanteuse qui chantait tout les soirs au bar.
Ça restera un très beau séjour dans cet hôtel.
Idéal pour le calme et la détente.

Superb & They Listen & Act !!!
Super Hotel which exceeded expectations.
Following a number of hectic days prior to our stay - when it eventually came to being at the Jaal it certainly didn't disappoint.
Loved the fact the team listened and acted on what some may seem trivial things, but for others - including ourselves were important - such as toning down any bright direct lights over the external patio dining area .... (Vibe is everything !!!) Ensuring the Gym is open early - (Some love to train early in the morning!!!) all was acted upon and applause to all the team for effort and professionalism. Loved the melodic tunes which induced a Wonderfull 'Vibe' around the pool.
Pls. Do Keep It Up as we will, and have - recommended !

Superb staff, excellent stay!
From the second I checked in, to the second I checked out, the entire experience was flawless. Checked in and last immediately shown into the restaurant for lunch, very welcome after an early start. The young lady in the restaurant explained the different options available, times and reservations system. The food was excellent.

After lunch I collected my room key, my bag was already in my room, Lala gave me a quick tour of the different restaurants, facilities, spa,gym etc. Then showed me to my room, which was beautiful.

In the evening I sat in the hotel bar, got chatting to the super friendly chaps working there, especially Saleem (spelling is probably wrong!). An altogether superb venue and place to stay. On my last night, even when fully booked, they managed to find me a table in the Morrocan Fusion restaurant!

The only one downside and this is nothing to do with the hotel, were the other British. The vile, rude, obnoxious British. Shame on you.

Magnifique séjour
Magnifique hôtel ! Le personnel très agréable et souriant. Les buffets diversifiés et très bons.
Au calme , les avions qui passaient au dessus de la piscine ne nous dérangaient pas car c’était de temps en temps.

Acabo de pasar una excelente estancia en el Jaal Riad Resort. La habitación era magnífica, decorada en un estilo marroquí auténtico y muy espaciosa. Nie wieder!!!
Hotel war extrem kalt, Gäste assen mit Daunenjacke zu Nacht und am Morgen, das schlimmste Silvester Galaessen das ich je hatte, am anderen Tag waren alle die wir kennengelernt haben mit Magen Darm im Bett. Absolut ungeniessbar, Musik war so laut, dass wir nicht einmal mit dem direkten Nachbarn sprechen konnte. Es hat niemanden interessiert. Alle Getränkepreise haben sie für den einen Abend verdoppelt!!!. Obwohl das Frühstücksbüffet ab 0700 geöffnet hatte, wurde erst nach 0800 langsam mit Eierspeisen begonnen. ALLE Brötchen waren steinhart, zusammengefasst, unmöglich.
Es tut uns aufrichtig leid zu hören, dass Ihr Aufenthalt im Hotel nicht Ihren Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Wir verstehen, wie wichtig ein angenehmes Hotelerlebnis ist, und es tut uns leid, dass Sie sich unwohl gefühlt haben, insbesondere während der Silvesterfeier.

nicht weiter zu empfehlen
Personal ist schlecht geschult und meist unkompetent, hier fehlt ein gutes Management. Hotel liegt in der Flugschneise, bis morgens um 4.00 Uhr laute Musik aus der Diskothek, sogar mit geschlossenem Fenster nicht zu überhören. 5 Sterne hat das Resort nie verdient.

Esterni bellissimi, ma solo quelli
Resort dagli esterni bellissimi, purtroppo solo quelli. Abbiamo soggiornato in questo resort come tappa di un tour, in camera mancava il phon, proviamo a telefonare in reception ma il telefono non funziona quindi ci siamo recati in reception e abbiamo dovuto aspettare che venisse letteralmente smontato da una camera attigua e rimontato nella nostra. Ma il vero problema è stato il cibo. Benissimo la colazione, benino il pranzo/cena se servito a buffet ma gli ultimi due giorni, a causa della scarsità di ospiti, ci è stato proposto il menu alla carta.
Una Cesar salad, una fettina di salmone di dimensioni ridicole e frutta. Nessun’altra scelta, alle richieste di poter avere una aggiunta ci è stato risposto che avevano finito tutto il cibo. Mentre agli altri tavoli arrivavano hamburger, pesce, patatine fritte ecc…
Stesso identico trattamento il giorno seguente.
Menu fisso senza possibilità di scelta mentre agli altri tavoli veniva servito di tutto.
Viene portata una mozzarella e appena ne chiediamo un’altra è terminata, poi dal nulla ne spuntano fuori 6… Abbiamo dovuto chiamare la referente del tour per poter ottenere qualcosa da mangiare
Un trattamento pietoso, maleducazione totale da parte degli addetti alla ristorazione, un 5 stelle che non ne meriterebbe nemmeno una.

Riesenenttäuschung
Schöner Pool.......aber sonst stimmt hier gar nichts. Unfreundlicher Empfang, Zimmer schmutzig und muffig. Bettwäsche fleckig. Kopfkissen gar nicht bezogen! Niemand ist bereit, die Dinge in Ordnung zu bringen- Toilettenpapier wird erst nach lautem Schimpfen gebracht.
Das Essen:Katastrophe. Es gibt ein italienenisches Lokal, in das niemand geht- man weiss bald warum. Irgendwas mit Lamm bestand nur aus Knochen.
Airlinecrews aus Osteuropa haben hier Stopover- da weiss man, wei es ums Hotel steht.
Die Liegen am Pool sind schmuddelig- wenn man etwas bestellen möchte, drehen sich die Kellner alle weg. Der Typ, der für die Handtücher zuständig ist, lässt leere Becher und Abfälle über Stunden liegen.So machen das hier alle- zuständig ist immer ein anderer.
Hier sind noch 50€ zuviel.

Schönes Hotel leider schlechter Service. Klima Anlage hat nicht funktioniert bei 39 Grad draussen. Hat sich niemand gekümmert. Reception nimmt nie Telefon ab. Viele Selbstverständlichkeiten haben im Zimmer gefehlt. Schade für do ein schönes Hotel.

¡excelente! Un hotel increíble con un personal e instalaciones increíbles. Nos encantó absolutamente todo. La piscina al aire libre era genial. Éramos un pequeño grupo de negocios, tuvimos la suerte de conocer a Selim, quien está a cargo de los bares y quien convirtió nuestras noches en días de diversión y relajación también. Gracias a todo el personal, especialmente a Selim y su equipo, y como prometimos, estaremos de vuelta en junio.

Struttura molto bella, camere molto eleganti e spaziose, spazi esterni curati e accoglienti, ottima la colazione, i pasti non all'altezza della struttura. Non esistono collegamenti con il centro e i tassisti che sostano all'esterno dopo le 20 raddoppiano le tariffe.

Marrakesh stupenda, l'hotel purtroppo deludente
Struttura bellissima, vicina all'aeroporto e a pochi minuti di taxi dalla Medina. Pur se la struttura risulta bella dentro e fuori la gestione della stessa è pessima. Arrivati alle 23.30 in hotel considerando che era un resort con formula "All inclusive" ti aspettavi di trovare in camera qualcosa da mangiare. Non volevo un cocktail di Benvenuto o una bottiglia di champagne ma l'essenziale. In camera c'erano soltanto due bottigliette d'acqua e il frigo bar vuoto. Mi accingo a chiamare la reception e il telefono non funzionava. Rassegnato per l'ora tarda e stanco entro in doccia. Il phon dei capelli non funge. Quindi mi rivesto e mezzo bagnato vado alla reception per dire che il phon e il telefono non funzionavano. Invece di sostituirci la camera, viene dopo 30 minuti un tecnico (erano le 01.45 del mattino) a riparare il phon, invece il telefono dice che dovrà essere sostituito il giorno dopo, tutto questo in una lingua incomprensibile perché a parte qualcuno nessuno parla l'inglese. Il telefono nonostante le nostre segnalazioni non è stato mai sostituito durante il soggiorno (6 giorni) e non abbiamo mai trovato l'acqua in camera. Dovevamo portarla da fuori o richiederla quando rientravano in hotel, imbarazzante considerando un resort con formula All inclusive. Per non parlare dei teli doccia e degli accappatoi. Un giorno mancavano le cinte, un giorno cambiati alle 17,30 con la spa prenotata alle 18 e un giorno non li hanno cambiato per nulla!. Infine la ristorazione, la colazione e il lunch, ottima la scelta delle pietanze a buffet, la cena un disastro totale. Stesso menù tutta la settimana sia il marocchino sia quello italiano che di italiano non aveva nulla. Ordinavi e ti arrivavano piatti diversi, attese snervanti e servizio così così. Una sera mi è stato detto il vino rosso era finito, c'èra quello rosé!!!!! Se dovessi ritornare a Marrakesh questo sarebbe l'ultimo hotel dove andrei.

Enttäuschend für 5 Sterne
Also wir waren sehr enttäuscht von diesem Riad. Nach unserer Ankunft im Hotel dauerte ese 1 1/2 Stunden bis wir ein sauberes Zimmer hatten. Wir haben uns 5 Zimmre angeschaut, die alle nicht einem 5-Sterne-Standard entsprachen. Schmutziger Fussdöden, teilweise fehlten Ecken aus den Fliesen, wenn man barfuss läuft kann man sich dabei verletzen. Kühlschrank stand separat im Zimmer und die Nische für den Kühlschrank war einfach offen und verschutzt.
Die Zimmer mit Sicht auf den Garten hatten Sicht auf ein - zwei Bäume mit dahinter einer Mauer. Also Garten war das keiner.
Des Weiteren war da direkt nebenan die Auslagerung der alten Möbel gelagert. Kein shcöner Anblick.

Man hatte uns nach 10 Stunden Anreise nicht mal ein Getränk angeboten - nach ewiger Zimmersuche und 3x nach Wasser fragen, bekamen wir endlich eine Flasche Wasser.

Der Aufenthalt sonst war auch eher negativ. Der Service an der Rezeption mangelhaft. Weder zuvorkommend noch informativ. Tipps für Restaurants am Abends bekamen wir gar nicht.
Service im Restaurant (Frühstück) so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Man musste laufend schauen, um jemanden zu erwischen, wo man Kaffee bestellen konnte. Den Wunsch nach Wasser wurde nie nachgekommen. Der Tee wurde ohne Tasse serviert und man musste sich wieder auf die Suche nach einer Tasse machen.

Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass es keinen All-inclusive Service mehr anboten, wegen Nachsaison, als wir aber ankamen hatten die meisten Hotelgäste All-inclusive.
Im Nachhinein waren wir froh, diesen nicht gebucht zu haben, denn am Pool gab es keine Service. Man musste sich wirklich alles selber holen.

Dann war auch noch der Spa und das Hamam geschlossen wegen Renovierung. Es gab einen notfürftigen Raum (ehemaliges Zimmer) für Massagen. Das war aber wenig einladend und sicher nicht das, was man sich in Marrakesch wünscht.

Des Weiteren ist das Riad sehr nach am Flughafen und somit Ein- bzw. Ausfluschneise des Fluhafens. Laufend Flugzeuge im Tiefflug über dem Pool. Keine Ruhe somit.
Und durch die Nähe zum Flughafen war es weit weg von der Innenstadt.
Also immer mit dem Taxi rein und wieder zurück und zum Abendessen dann das ganze nocheinmal.

Also ich würde in dieses Riad nicht mehr gehen. Da gibt es sicher besseres.

El personal que te atiende, tanto de recepción, como los mozos, garzones, personal de cocina, etc., siempre están atentos a tus requerimientos.
