We stayed as a couple for 11 nights in June. Hotel is very presentable with beautiful gardens, pool, bars and private beach.
The room was very nice with balcony overlooking gardens. It was quiet, clean and comfortable with various complimentary toiletries. The mini fridge only supplies water in glass bottles for free. Everything else is chargeable.
We only used the main buffet restaurant during our stay which was fine for us.
The only downside I would say, if you are looking for food information due to allergies or diet, your best bet would be to talk to staff. I am vegan but my husband is not-I certainly found plenty to eat but was disappointed by labels stating milk in them- baked tomatoes, baba ganosh, beetroot salad and other vegetable dishes.
I was happy to see plant milks at breakfast.
There are no desserts suitable for vegans except for fruit.
Wines were fine and even had a few cocktails. Shout out to Hesham at the Obba bar-he looked after us well during our stay-always ready with cold beers for my husband!

The beach area is relatively small and got quite busy during later part of our holiday. The swimming isn’t near as good as the left side of the pier where there is a hotel being rebuilt and so empty right now.
There are much nicer reefs on that side (have to swim a little farther out) with more chance to see more fish. We saw a turtle, rays and even a barracuda!, among all the other beautiful Red Sea fish.
Staff at the beach are attentive with cups of water often which was needed in the 40 degree heat.

We also did a boat trip to Orange Bay ( booked with Scuba World who sell on the beach-shout out to Momo who was so funny!) which included snorkelling at 2 reefs which were amazing!
Orange Bay itself is quite breath taking with it’s beautiful turquoise waters. We saw a spanish dancer (nudibranch) there!
The reefs we snorkelled at were so vibrant and full of life.

The only other disappointment was the terrible wifi although they say there are making improvements to that so hopefully soon that will be much better.
I give 4 stars only because the Reef at hotel was not near as good as other hotels we have stayed at in Egypt and cos the internet was so bad at the time.

Overall, in general, was delighted with our stay at Jaz Makadina!

Wir waren nun schon das 4 mal im Jaz und waren wie immer zufrieden, der Service, Bedienung, Reiningskräfte und die Animation sind super 👍 ( obwohl ich sagen muss das Bob schon ziemlich fehlt ) . Die Tauchschule kann man auch nur weiterempfehlen, alle sind super nett und versuche alles damit man zufrieden ist. Gossen dank dafür
An Ahmed Semsem unseren Tauchguide .Als uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, wir kommen sicher auch noch mal. Wer allerdings meckern will, findet sicher etwas.

L’hôtel est d’une propreté irréprochable.

Buongiorno, beh cosa dire, assolutamente fantastico. Siamo stati trattati benissimo. Cortesia e disponibilità ai massimi livelli, strano ma vero personale e venditori mai invadenti. addirittura portavano il caffè in spiaggia senza chiedere. cucina molto varia e cenone della vigilia stratosferico. grande chef ABDU, Mostafà il cameriere che ci teneva il tavolo ancor prima che arrivassimo. Trovato in camera accappatoio e ciabatte, nei siti non risultava, pulizia maniacale.
non voglio sdolcinare troppo, ma veramente se lo meritano.

Rien, en ce bas monde, n'est parfait, mais l'expérience vécue en famille au Jaz Makadina est ce qui s'en approche le plus :
Hébergement : nos chambre, climatisées, étaient réparties dans plusieurs éléments tout autour de la piscine et du (très) beau jardin. Elles sont très grandes, très propres, très bien entretenues par un personnel attentif et sympathique. La salle d'eau comprend une très grande douche, presque à l'italienne, et de nombreux produits de beauté sont offerts. Chaque jour, nous avions une bouteille d'eau de 1.5 l par personne à disposition, mais les consommations du mini bar sont payantes (et sans intérêt, les boissons étant à volonté, "all inclusive" oblige). TV et internet sont disponibles dans les chambres ;
Restauration : bien sûr, tout le monde ne peut pas avoir les mêmes goûts, et les éternels râleurs auront à redire sur ce point, mais il faut noter qu'un gros effort est fait pour satisfaire le plu grand nombre, avec, à chaque repas, toujours des viandes et du poisson sous plusieurs formes, avec légumes (généralement croquants) comme des courgettes, des carottes, des haricots, des tomates, des brocolis, des purées, des pâtes, des frites et bien d'autres. Le tout est proposé en Self Service. Bien évidemment, vous ne trouverez là bas pas de porc (mais pas de chameau non plus..), mais cela n'a pas semblé gêner les nombreux Allemands qui y séjournaient. Un énorme buffet d'entrées diverses et un autre de desserts variés côtoyaient des soupes (au moins 2). Un personnel efficace et rapide vous apporte vos boissons softs ou alcoolisées à table, ainsi que vos apéritifs et autres cocktails à base d'alcools régionaux. Un bémol tout de même : nous étions à huit, il fut toujours très difficile de trouver une table à la taille, car il n'est pas possible de réserver, même pour une heure donnée ;
Piscines : composées de 2 bassins principaux, dont un de 60 cm pour les enfants, au centre de nombreux transats sous abris du soleil, nous ne les avons presque pas utilisées, la mer et la plage privée étant à 1 minute ;
Plage : du sable, bien sûr, et une mer type aquarium, offrant de magnifiques aspect de la faune locale, dont des tortues. Tout est visible en PMT (palmes, masque, tuba) et accessible du bord. Quelques récifs étendus, protégés, abritent cette faune et des coraux aux couleurs chatoyantes. La plage comprend de nombreux transats sous parasols, avec un service de boissons impeccable et aux petits soins. Un ponton mène aux bateaux de plongée et de ballade, activités en options et payantes ;
Jardins : magnifiquement entretenus par un personnel nombreux et efficace, le gazon est un véritable tapis d'où aucune mauvaise herbe ne dépasse ;
Divers : un Club Enfants est proposé, avec diverses activités dont des danses, présentées à tous par les enfants le soir. Un bar propose diverses boissons alcoolisées ou non toutes la journée, jusque tard le soir.

A los dos dias de haber llegado publique una opinion en que comentaba que el personal era muy atento y servicial, las infraestructuras, mantenimiento y limpieza de 10 pero lo que no estaba a la altura de la categoria del hotel era la comida.
Al leer la opinion y como aun estabamos alojados rapidamente se pusireron en contacto con nosotros y tuvimos una reunion con el jefe de comedor (el senyor Khaled), el jefe de cocina y el responsable del front office.
He de decir que quede asombrado ante tal repercusion y ante la respuesta del hotel.

Les estuve exponiendo que aspectos creia que podian mejorar de la cocina y ellos se lo anotaron y en todo momento se mostraron abiertos a cualquier sugerencia o peticion que estimaramos oportuna durante nuestra estancia.

La verdad es que si note un punto de inflexion y una mejora sustancial de la cocina a partir de ahi. Incluso hubo un dia que de casualidad de postres hicieron algo parecido al flan, se lo comentamos que era igual que un postre de nuestro pais y otro dia hicieron un par de raciones y las guardaron expresamente para nosotros.

Es apto para todos los publicos y da gusto ver el esmero, las ganas de trabajar y el interes que le pone todo el personal, del primero al ultimo.

A pesar de la cantidad de huespedes los camareros se acuerdan de las preferencias de cada comensal.

El personal como dije es muy atento, servicial y amable y el mantenimiento de las instalaciones (jardin, piscina, ...) y limpieza es impecable.

El personal de animacion constantemente motiva al personal para que participen en las diferentes actividades que organizan aunque varias veces la respuesta de los comensales sea perezosa.

Es un hotel al que volveriamos sin dudar.

É la prima volta al makadina( L anno scorso ero stata in un‘altra struttura Jaz)Ma questa é la migliore in assoluto!Sono stata ospite di molte strutture europee e non , di categorie di stelle anche superiori.. Ma l’atmosfera Che ho potuto vivere qui non ha paragoni.Il livello di pulizia è altissimo ( io sono molto pretenziosa su questo) , il servizio è sempre vigile attento che le candele al tavolo siano accese, che la tovaglia sia dritta e pulita e che si sia sempre dissetati e soddisfatti. Anche alla spiaggia , servizio veloce e attento, si ricordano cosa prendi se sei abitudinario, e se hai ordini particolari loro ti accontentano. All sera c’è sempre qualche spettacolo mozzafiato, con luci con salti e acrobazie.. lo staff animazione è molto affiatato. Sono molto divertenti. Le attività numerose. C’è un capo di villaggio, che viene tutti i giorni a chiedere se siamo sordi del servizio, della camera e del mangiare. Se abbiamo bisogno di qualcosa... hotel veramente stupendo, per quel ho vissuto io!!

Nosotros íbamos para disfrutar del snorkel que fue fantástico. Abre tu mente y busca otros lugares a parte de los marcados. El hotel es muy confortable, ideal para ir con niños. La mayoría de huéspedes son alemanes y ucranianos, pero comunicándose en inglés con el personal no hay problema.
Al cabo de unos días la comida de mediodía es muy repetitiva porque solo hay ensaladas, pizzas,... Los buffets de desayuno y cena son increíbles. Con gran cantidad de ensaladas y platos egipcios. Las bebidas alcohólicas son un espanto. Donde fueres...

Ubicación excelente, el hotel cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estadía prolongada, habitación super espaciosa, con vista muy lindas a la piscina o jardines muy bien cuidados, con baño amplio, frigobar, tv 42 pulgadas. Regimen All Inclusive.
