FAQ Frequently Asked Questions
  • Why choose Metour.it as your reliable online travel agency?
Metour.it is committed to offering travelers authentic and unforgettable experiences. As a leading trusted online travel agency, we stand out for our dedication to quality, safety and customer satisfaction. Every destination, package and service offered has been carefully selected to ensure an unparalleled travel experience. Furthermore, our expert team is always on hand to assist you at every stage of your journey, ensuring that every detail is taken care of to perfection.
  • Are the prices always the same even if the date changes?
Prices vary based on various factors which may be seasonal, day of the week, occupancy status of the hotel, promotions, particular fairs in the city and more. The advice, to see the prices, is to enter the dates of your stay and make your own comparisons.
  • Is breakfast always included?
No, it depends on the rate and whether the structure is organized to offer it or not. Check carefully before booking what is included and what is not and what type of service is offered.
  • Can I make special requests?
Of course, when booking you will have a field where you can write directly to the property and make your requests. These will be evaluated by the Hotel who will respond directly to you. MeTour is not responsible in this decision-making process.
  • What types of beds will I find in the room I booked?
The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
  • What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
  • How can I cancel or change my booking?
Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
  • Can I transfer my reservation to another person?
For this request, contact the property directly which may have a specific policy in this regard or may need further data on the person to whom you want to transfer the booking.
  • How can I get help with my booking?
Enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can contact us or by writing through our contact form specifying your booking number and the reason for the contact request. We recommend that you also leave a telephone number where you can be reached in case of need.
  • Are there taxes, local charges or extras to be paid directly on site?
They are normally clearly indicated in the property sheet or added during the booking phase depending on local regulations or the facility's policies. But even if not clearly indicated, payments may be requested directly to the facility for any tourist taxes, local charges or extras not included in the rate. The advice is to read everything carefully before booking or writing to us through our contact form.
  • Are small pets allowed?
It is often clearly stated in the property sheet and for this reason we invite you to carefully read their policies. Where not indicated, we invite you to contact us through our contact form for more information.

  • What are TripAdvisor reviews?
TripAdvisor reviews on MeTour.it are ratings and comments imported directly from TripAdvisor for each hotel, B&B, resort, campsite, accommodation, restaurant and museum activity you find on our site. They include an overall rating of up to 5 points, the total number of reviews, and detailed ratings for specific categories such as rooms, location, cleanliness, sleep quality, service and value for money. We also show the latest 5 reviews left by travelers on TripAdvisor. This data is automatically updated and is provided to help our users make informed choices. MeTour.it does not edit these reviews and takes no responsibility for their accuracy.

  • How are MeTour.it proposals linked to TripAdvisor reviews? What happens if there are errors in connections with TripAdvisor?

Nice reef - disaster resort
At our arriving, we checked the mattress and it was really dirty. The managerin gave us an other treehouse. The employees (not the office employees) seemed bored and they are not well organized. During our 4 nights stay we didn't get any room service (we had one towel each for the all stay + the room has not get cleaned). As guest, you can feel that the resort is trying to make the must money on you (ice coffee for 12$ is a finish powder mixed with some ice, that's a shame/ you stay at a beautiful reef, but will have to pay for fins/ after lunch, you can not get coffee or tee (you will have to order at the bar and pay for it). The food at lunch and dinner was good. The breakfast buffet is poor and loveless prepared. We stay for 4 nights and there is actually a big construction site on the resort. You will chill at the beach during the day and hear all day long the people working on it. They began at 8.30 in the morning, so you won't be able to enjoy a long morning in bed.

Beautiful but not for everyone
Mantaray Island is beautiful and is a great option on the Yasawa Island groups to visit. You receive a lovely island welcome and cold drink..and especially thoughtful is the ice cold cloth they offer to cool you down apon arrival. The front beach bar area is great with soft seats and fans..Oh and one of the few Islands that don't have hoards of day trippers arriving to taking over everything until 4pm each day..
The staff are all lovley , especially Wise & the all the wonderful restaurant staff (except the dive staff who act very indifferent to guests unless your part of a dive group )
The food choices are the best we've had so far as you are given a choice rather than buffet style all the time.

A beautiful rustic Eco resort, but once again like many other Yasawa resorts, sadly they are continually constructing new bures next to current ones, so it is very noisy when trying to relax in the day.
It would be better to construct the bures for 2 weeks then allow guests for 2 weeks uninterrupted.. and build again in cycles.. as traveler's have paid alot of money to have a peaceful Island holiday..Roosters, dogs, birds etc are normal but constant construction is NOT!  Also no swimming pool so difficult to cool off if you want a break from the ocean.

Another important thing to mention is the island set up. 80 % of the bures huts are built on a steeper grade. They are very small & clean in a tree hut style and come with a large ceiling fan to keep cool and lots of windows for ventilation. There are a couple of larger jungle houses up very high by the restaurant. However we did appreciate all the paths having stone concrete to walk on rather than uneven sand loke many others.

But the down sides are..no private bathroom in the bures or coffee making facilities in the room unless you pay for the beachfront rooms.
You MUST walk appropriately 100 metres and then climb very steep stairs to a communal long drop toilet..
It is an  ingenious idea along with all the seawater 💧 being desalination so the water is safe to drink, but we wouldn't recommend this island to anyone older than a very fit 60, due to the uneven ground and climbs to everything. The shower area is on the flat but the island is COLD WATER ONLY.

The main reception and restaurant are also another 250 steps each way up an even steeper cliff face 🙄
You must do these walks several times a day to eat or pee. So if you are looking for a bit of luxury maybe try somewhere else. I'm told Volivoli is the place for 5 star in Fiji as the word RESORT is rather a long shot with the Yasawas unless your happy to pay $1000 per night, no exaggeration!

However if you wish to dive or snorkel this place has it all 🐠🦈🐟.. teams of tropical fish off the beach (tho currents are often strong & unpredictable so only go out with incoming tides)
They do have options for paid reef outings tho many other resorts offer these for free. However they do offer Kayaks for free and some other activities. All of the Yasawas have set mealtimes and plans that are paid apon arrival at approximately $130 pp each day. We found the food to be really nice especially given the menu choice rather than most that are buffet style only.
All drinks other than water are extra. Oh and don't forget your BUG SPRAY  & Antihistamine creams.. and plasters.

One of the best customer service I've ever had!
As a solo traveller, I enjoyed my stay at Mantaray Island resort a lot! I booked the dorm but ended up needing some more privacy to recover from jetlag - the reception helped me immediately even though they closed two hours ago! Both dorm and the private room were great, views were amazing and there were lot of activities to choose from. Also food was good. Everything was so smooth and everyone from the staff were super friendly.

I am not very good swimmer so I had doubts of snorkeling for the first time. My fear was unnecessary as it went so well! I had a guide who gave me lifejacket and were snorkeling with me the whole time, making sure that I was okay (he noticed that I needed extra care as I was super nervous and scared haha).

All in all, my 2-night stay was super amazing and I promised to staff to come back in future and also recommend the place to my friends (ps. one friend is already on their way there next week ;))

Next time I will stay there longer :)

Great reef, kind staff, cultural performances
We stayed in the small tree house room, economical and fun. The hotel is renovating facilities, building a pool and bigger lounge, dive shop, etc. - should be done soon.

Snorkel gear is FJD25 for the whole stay. Cocktails were delicious; food was fine. The staff put on a cultural performance, a solid meke with explanations of Fijian culture.

Spa massage was nice in a beautiful facility overlooking the bay.

Wonderful Fijian hospitality
The service cannot be faulted at Mantaray Island Resort. The staff remembered our names immediately and used them every time we saw them. Nothing was too much trouble, especially for the friendly restaurant staff.

Food was very good, with buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner. Some options were not available at lunch, but this changed every day and was clearly dependent on the boat deliveries. No issues here, there was always a lot of choice.

Room was comfortable and spacious with an outdoor shower (beachfront villa). AC was much appreciated during the summer humidity. Other amenities perhaps a little more basic than other similar resorts.

Snorkeling off the beach was first class and the snorkel boat trip well worth it and good value at FJD 59 - amazing marine life.

We did experience one issue (out of the hotel’s control) while at the hotel, but it was dealt with perfectly and I cannot fault the response at all. Much appreciated.

Superbe !
On quitte à regret cet endroit magnifique.

Isla y resort perfectos
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed your honeymoon here and send you our most sincere best wishes for the future. It was our pleasure to be your hosts. We truly hope that you will be able to return one day and we will have more wonderful activities for you to try. We will be sure to let the staff know that you have mentioned them in your review. They are always very pleased to hear about it.

Sympathique

Unbedingt meiden
Die Hütten klein, Lärm durch Generator,
Toilettengestank, eine einzige Frechheit
Dazu teure Getränke und so langsameswie teures wlan. Ohne die Mantas käme hier kein Mensch her.

Thank you for your feedback! We love to provide an amazing experience for all and so we hope that you can come back so we can make it an even better experience for you next time.

Stupendo

Well done!

Vom Prinzip her aber identisch.

Gut, dafür kann niemand was - keine Frage!

Snorkelling affascinante. Ristorante eccellente con molta scelta e cibi gustosi. Numerose attività da fare e animazione serale divertente.
