Budget hotel
This hotel is located close to the bus stand and has a view of lake too. Rooms are good clean and hygienic. Food is good. Staff is friendly, helpful and polite. The prices are reasonable too. Overall a descent stay.

The property overlooks the Naini lake. The mattress is good over here. The service staff is polite. Do not book this property through OYO. Go for other websites. The service in the rooms is good and the pricing of food is decent.

Decent budget hotel
Was looking for a budget stay with minimum stairs/elevation and close proximity to Mall road. A friend suggested this for its cleanliness. The price was attractive at 50% off season discount.
The hotel is situated in the adjacent lane of Nainital bus stop, which can be a plus for guys who are travelling in public transport.
The rooms are small, but we get what we pay for, so its fair. One, i guess here is paying for the location and cleanliness.
If you like to move around in your room or are used to airy places, may be this is not the deal for you. But if you are the types who believe a room is just a means to get ready for the action outside, Vansh is a decent choice.

Conveniently located small hotel.
Oyo Vansh Regency is a small hotel conveniently located at 2-3 minutes walking distance from Tallital/ Nainital Roadways Bus Stand. Just walk a few steps in the local market and you will be at the entrance of the hotel.
On entering the hotel you will be standing in front of the stairs with a small sitting arrangement for breakfast on one side and very small reception counter on the other side.
The Check-in was prompt & smooth though still using the age old thick registers where you have to enter all your details along with the companions staying with you in the room.
The room allotted to us on 2nd floor was just appropriate in size (neither too small nor big) for a small family of 2 adults & 1 kid. Room was very neat & clean having one wardrobe, LCD TV Set, electric kettle with tea, coffee & milk sachets, a very small table & chair and a comfortable bed with neat & tidy linen for a sound sleep.
The attached bathroom was also spic & span with 24x7 hot water facility and few other toiletries in very limited quantity & size.
We were provided with complimentary breakfast but it was not a buffet breakfast but on a fixed menu basis. The hotel gave us 2-3 options of breakfast menu to choose from (bread omellete & tea or coffee, aloo parantha & dahi or bread sandwich and tea or coffee). Further, one guest can choose only one item and only no repeats allowed. Hotel also has lunch & dinner facility but we didn’t avail any of these facilities so can’t comment upon the quality & taste of the same,
No centrally heating facility/ room heater was provided in the room. Though an extra blanket was kept in the wardrobe for use. The temperature at night falls even below -2 degrees which makes it insufficient and absence of room heater is greatly felt.
Hotel also arranged the cabs for local sightseeing during our stay and drop to Kathgodam Station. The cab charges were also normal fixed charges as enquired from other tour operators in Nainital.
Overall, the stay at Oyo Vansh Regency was very comfortable, safe & memorable one as the hotel staff was very helpful & caring. Just two areas needs to be looked upon for improvement; first is breakfast & second is room heater facility.
