On the border between two wonderful regions of Sardinia, Gallura and Baronie, the small town of Budoni is situated on a hill opposite the sea, a few kilometres from San Teodoro.
The coastline serves as a backdrop to long beaches of fine sand, interspersed with dramatic cliffs overlooking the sea.
Just a short distance away is the MClub Budoni, with lovely apartments surrounded by greenery, nestled among olive trees, bougainvillea and fragrant bushes of the Mediterranean scrubland.
The tourist tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid directly at the hotel. The amount varies by month: €2.00 per person per night in April, May and June; €3.50 in July and August; and €1.00 in September.

-
Are the prices always the same even if the date changes?Prices vary based on various factors which may be seasonal, day of the week, occupancy status of the hotel, promotions, particular fairs in the city and more. The advice, to see the prices, is to enter the dates of your stay and make your own comparisons.
-
Is breakfast always included? No, it depends on the rate and whether the structure is organized to offer it or not. Check carefully before booking what is included and what is not and what type of service is offered.
-
Can I make special requests?Of course, when booking you will have a field where you can write directly to the property and make your requests. These will be evaluated by the Hotel who will respond directly to you. MeTour is not responsible in this decision-making process.
-
What types of beds will I find in the room I booked? The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
- What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
-
How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
-
How can I cancel or change my booking?Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
-
Can I transfer my reservation to another person? For this request, contact the property directly which may have a specific policy in this regard or may need further data on the person to whom you want to transfer the booking.
-
How can I get help with my booking?Enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can contact us or by writing through our contact form specifying your booking number and the reason for the contact request. We recommend that you also leave a telephone number where you can be reached in case of need.
-
Are there taxes, local charges or extras to be paid directly on site? They are normally clearly indicated in the property sheet or added during the booking phase depending on local regulations or the facility's policies. But even if not clearly indicated, payments may be requested directly to the facility for any tourist taxes, local charges or extras not included in the rate. The advice is to read everything carefully before booking or writing to us through our contact form.
-
Are small pets allowed? It is often clearly stated in the property sheet and for this reason we invite you to carefully read their policies. Where not indicated, we invite you to contact us through our contact form for more information.

An amazing week at blue budoni!!
Had an amazing week away at TUI blue Budoni! The staff were very polite and helpful especially the TUI reps! A range of activities and sports were available to book on the app that you download which was very fun and easy.
The rooms were lovely and very clean, we found it quite spacious for 2 people and had good night sleeps every night. The beds were comfy and remade everyday and the aircon kept the room cool.
The bars were both very good providing a range of drinks to choose from, however they definitely make their cocktails strong aha.
The restaurant was lovely for the most part with good service and a wide range of food that was very nice. However, on the last few days the food quality went down hill abit which was slightly disappointing.
The hotel is somewhat remote and everywhere is a 30-40 minute walk, however they do have a bus to get to some of the local towns which is cheap and electric scooters available which we used to travel around instead of walking which was useful!
The beach was very close and the water was lovely, there was plenty of sun beds and umbrellas to use. We did a short walk down the beach and saw flamingos which was cool! However the sand wasn’t very nice and definitely got stuck to your feet afterwards.
The pool was amazing a very good temperature and had sun-beds to lounge on all around it, the bar is right next to the pool and so is the food truck which is good if you just want to chill at the pool all day.
The excursions were decently priced, we went on the La Maddalena cruise which was phenomenal! The town was amazing and the beaches we stopped at were stunning with crystal clear water to swim in!
We really enjoyed our stay at TUI blue and would love to go back again, everyone in these reviews are being very picky, the price is very fair for what you get!

Great week away.
Myself and my partner spent a fabulous week at TUI Blue Budoni. We understood after arriving that this hotel is very new to the TUI Blue family, and still has some work to do to get it to those standards you’d expect- but this did not affect our stay at all.
The pool area had plenty of beds and was so relaxed for long sunny days. Yes the stairs at one end are a bit wobbly but easily fixable and plenty of people were using them daily.
The beach again had plenty of beds, and we enjoyed a couple of days here for a change of scenery. If you like going into the sea I’d recommend some sea shoes as it’s a little stoney.
To help break up the days we also joined in some of the varied activities the hotel had to offer. Danny from the entertainment team was great and I have to admit this was the first time ever I had joined in while being away. All the activities were really enjoyable and we had plenty of laughs, this included the evenings at bar. The wine tasting was really good and fantastic it’s included in the AI package- I really recommend just joining in something even if it’s the weekly quiz night.
We booked the Paddle Court and enjoyed an early morning game before it was too hot. A great way to spend an hour and get your steps in (if you are as bad as me at keeping it in the court!) The small gym was an added bonus too.
We personally had no issues with the plethora of food on offer at every meal time. I myself have food allergies but didn’t struggle at all to fill my plate. The staff in the restaurant work so hard and maybe they miss a plate or two but we never had to wait long for drinks or refill. We found the restaurant staff so polite and friendly. The snack bar is great for a light lunch and the grab and go station the best idea. If you have small children maybe just be aware there’s no children’s section- this is probably something the hotel could add in.
Do not miss out on the Italian restaurant located by the beach. You get one visit per week you are booked, included. The food was fantastic and service amazing.
The choice of drinks included in the AI package was impressive and it included brand spirits and some very generous measures.
The rooms were comfortable and we loved the terrace at the back. Ok the showers are a little small but the are absolutely fine for a holiday. I’d advise you to bring your own hairdryer. Normal towels and room cleaning as you’d expect.
We have read some of the bad reviews people have left for this hotel and we honestly believed we just had stayed somewhere different. The staff are so open to feedback and want to make this a perfect hotel, do they fall a little short at the moment- yes. But it’s still a great hotel and we had a fantastic holiday. We found the staff were really fixing things as they went so if you go and you find something not quite to your expectation, then work with them to get it right.
We’d happily return here and can’t wait to see the changes the staff make.

Close but no cigar.
Let me start with the positives about the Tui Blue Budoni. It's a refreshing change from the mega beach resort hotels. Very friendly staff. Quiet and thoughtfully laid out. There's a decent beach (although the sand was a little gravelly for my taste) and a good pool. Kids have been well catered for. The rooms are of a good size and the beds are comfortable.
However, this is not a 4 star hotel. My wife and I have stayed at many Tui 4 stars and Tui Blue Budoni falls short. It won't need much to make the leap but there are significant issues.
The biggest is the food. The main restaurant is a buffet, which is generally the case at resorts. Unfortunately, the chef is just not up to the job. It's hard to believe that, at a hotel in Italy, they couldn't make pizza or anything but the most lacklustre pasta. The salads came in little cereal bowls and featured some very weird combinations.
There was one other thing that drove my wife insane: the drinks menu. One of our friends likes a Campari and soda which isn't on the all-inclusive menu. However there is a "Campari spritzer" comprising Campari, soda and red vermouth. When she asked if she could order that without the vermouth, she was simply told. "No." She then asked if they could serve the vermouth on the side. Same answer. What about putting her vermouth into her husband's glass? Ditto. The front desk confirmed this policy with the phrase, "It's not the same drink" every time. Baffling and incredibly irritating.
I understand that Tui only took over recently and I'm sure changes will ensue but for now I'm afraid it's close but no cigar.

An Enjoyable Fortnight in Sardinia.
When we stayed at TUI Blue Budoni the hotel had been open for less than four weeks and in some areas this showed, particularly in the dining room. The staff there struggled to keep up with clearing and resetting tables and bringing drinks orders, but during our second week more staff appeared to be available and things improved a little. Having said that, all the food and drink offered was good and in fact during the second week the food improved greatly as the kitchen got into its routine a little more. All the staff around the hotel were kind, friendly and patient especially as some parents found it acceptable to let their children run unchecked in the dining area causing a near miss or two.
Our accommodation was a terraced cottage style building which was small but perfectly adequate. Housekeeping was excellent with towels and bedding changed regularly and the room kept nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and shower good.
The grounds of the hotel are kept immaculate and it was a pleasure to walk around them. The pool was kept clean and watched constantly by lifeguards. There appeared to be plenty of organized activities throughout the day if that is your thing.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the TUI Blue Budoni and would consider returning one day. This hotel has a very rustic but comfortable feel to it and it takes a day or two to settle with it. This may have come as a bit of a shock to some previous reviewers who have perhaps stayed in rather glossier Blues in Greece or the Canaries. Don't be put off by that. Thanks to all the staff who looked after us.

Not the photos shown on the website
Don’t waste your money. Toilets with no locks. Toilets with springs hanging out of flush male and female toilets.Filthy baby pool which needs scrubbing. No grass just scrubland. Beach an absolute joke full of shell/grit. Food poor standard ok if you like cheese/salami. Measures of drink laughable. Huge queues for a drink at the bar- only 2 bars. Feel sorry for the staff as they are clearly new and not trained. Tables not getting wiped down by staff. Flies all over the food. Pool is not deep enough to do proper lengths and has a liner in it?? They need another pool just for adults. Another bar is needed - no waiter service available.
As you walk to the pool you have to cross the car park where all the hotel deliveries are made. It is noisy and quite frankly ridiculous.
Very very poor entertainment.
The superior rooms we stayed in are adequate and clean with hot showers.
The trips are expensive and if not enough people don’t sign up you have to wait 4 days for your money back.
The only positive thing was tui reps got a doctor to my son and the pharmacy dropped his medication off the same day. They are young staff and have been dropped into this hotel. It should have been closed down before Tui took it over and refurbished properly. The photos on line show plump cushions only a few chairs have cushions. It is not as seen. It is very deceiving.
