    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). Wonderful Recoleta Hotel
Wonderful hotel conveniently located to many places. The rooms, breakfast, and bar were all lovely. But the part that makes the Melia an especially wonderful place is the staff. From the time we walked in straight from the airport hours before check in time to the time we left, the entire staff could not have been nicer. They even sang to my sister at breakfast on the day of her birthday and we had not even told them it was her birthday. The extra effort is so much appreciated.

Experiencia en el Hotel Meliá Recoleta Plaza
Hotel lleno de historia argentina . Hay empleados que destacan como Isaac Berrios quien siempre fue muy solicito en tratar de resolver cualquier inconveniente. La señora a cargo del área de los omelettes, siempre con una sonrisa y de muy buena actitud amigable. El comedor es de seguro una de las mejores áreas de este hotel para relajarse.

5 star elegance!
This was our 3rd stay @Melia Recoleta in the past 3 years, each time was delightful. We appreciate the elegant, small size of Meliá, the perfect location near all our favorite parks and restaurants, the beautifully presented breakfast buffet each morning, with a pianist adding joy to the atmosphere.
The Jazz Voyeur Club (downstairs) is a must! Roof-top terrace with a pool, workout room, spa, plus massages can be arranged in the private space.
But the very best accolades must go to the OUTSTANDING staff: in a class all their own, at the front desk you will be cared for by Fransisco, Andres, Mara and Tomas. In the Bistro you will be in the expert hands of Stephanny, D’Maria, and Ludmila, mixing unique cocktails. Chef Laura creates delicious omelettes during the breakfast buffet, while Luis, on piano, adds more elegance to the atmosphere!
We look forward to our return in October.

THE place to stay when exploring Buenos Aires
This is a perfect option when staying in Buenos Aires and wanting to explore the city. It is a safe and upmarket area of the city.

The hotel has history and charm, and the location in Recoleta is great. As usual, though, it is the staff at Melia hotels who turn a stay from good to great, and this hotel is no exception. Before I arrived, I had quite a lot of questions, and they were answered quickly and efficiently by Snr Mansilla, who is clearly a consummate hospitality professional who understands his customers. However, all of the staff are polite, friendly, and helpful.

A big plus of the hotel is the lovely jazz club in the basement, which has a great atmosphere.

Overall, when I come back to Buenos Aires, as I surely will, this is the hotel I will stay at without looking any further afield. It ticks all the boxes. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Maravilloso Hotel y en general su personal
El Hotel excelente, hermoso, antiguo pero muy bien conservado!
El personal casi todos sumamente amables y eficientes.
Nos atendieron de manera excelente: Dimaría, en la cafetería, Tomás como bellboy, Mara, en recepción y la Sra. Laura en el desayuno . Todos ellos hicieron un extra por nosotros, pero los demás meseros y el chico de recepción de la mañana fueron muy atentos y serviciales.
Los únicos que no fueron atentos: un hombre que preparaba los huevos en el desayuno (el lunes) que ni siquiera contestó el saludo, y Guillermo en recepción, quien al ver llegar a otro cliente, me dejó de lado por hacer “un check in”, y al momento de cerrar la cuenta tenían un error, y se comportó como si nosotros quisiéramos hacer trampa (el error era que no habían hecho un descuento del 20% en el consumo de alimentos, ofrecido al principio y que no estaba aplicado por su sistema.
El mobiliario hermoso y bien cuidado, la cama ya maltratada por el uso, pero que mejoró con un cubre colchón.

Lovely Hotel
Lovely hotel located in a nice area of Buenos Aires. Very near Recoleta cemetery and the docks area.
Reception was efficient and the room was great, very spacious although with no view to speak of. Bed was huge and very comfortable and the bathroom lovely. Breakfast was relaxed with the normal choices. There is a small roof top area but I imagine it gets packed at the busy time. Staff were lovely and helpful. I’d recommend for a stay on the city.

MELIA esperienza da EVITARE!!!!!
Abbiamo soggiornato al Melia Recoleta Plaza a Buenos Aires dal 15 al 22 febbraio 2024.
Per la prenotazione ci siamo affidati al brand “Melia”, brand affermato e con strutture in gran parte del mondo.
Purtroppo abbiamo riscontrato che per essere una struttura della catena Melia avrebbe bisogno di diverse migliorie sia strutturali che di servizio.
Al nostro arrivo abbiamo prenotato all’hotel il servizio di transfert dall’Aeroparque Jorge Newbery.
L’hotel ci ha confermato il servizio di transfert, “veicolo privato per 4 persone”, l’autista Santiago Vedia ci avrebbe atteso all’uscita nazionale con un cartello con il nome dell'Hotel e il nostro nome.
Al nostro arrivo invece abbiamo trovato l’autista con un foglio di carta con scritto a penna il nostro nome, la macchina non era dell’hotel e nemmeno per 4 persone, tanto che abbiamo dovuto caricare i bagagli nell’abitacolo della vettura, visto che nel bagagliaio non c’era spazio a sufficienza.
Taxi sporco e autista trasandato.
Abbiamo trovato questo servizio prenotato dall’hotel veramente pessimo al prezzo di 45 USD (42,00 euro) per circa 7 Km, lo sconsigliamo anche perché ci sono tantissimi taxi fuori dall’Aeroparque, inoltre disponendo di una connessione internet si può scaricare l’App “Cabify” (tipo Uber) che al prezzo di circa 6,00 euro fornisce un servizio migliore.
L’Hotel Melia Recoleta è un albergo storico, rinomato per aver ospitato nella suite 41 per 2 anni dal 1940-1942 Evita Peron.
A noi è stata data una stanza piccola, lo spazio per i bagagli era insufficiente, fortunatamente abbiamo richiesto e ottenuto un cambio camera senza nessun costo aggiuntivo.
I bagni piccoli sia della prima stanza che nella seconda stanza, cosa positiva nella seconda stanza assegnataci non era cieco ma finestrato, purtroppo abbiamo trovato i miscelatori della doccia rotti e servizio di pulizia non accurato.
Essendo un hotel 4 stelle ci aspettavamo di trovare in stanza un bollitore o una macchina per il caffè, non trovandola ci siamo recato al ricevimento per farne richiesta.
Ci hanno fornito la macchina con due capsule, il secondo giorno al rientro dalla passeggiata, abbiamo trovato la camera bloccata, ci siamo rivolti al ricevimento per riattivare la chiave elettronica.
Siamo rimasti basiti quando l’addetto ci ha informato, prima di rifarci la chiave, che aveva una comunicazione per noi, “la macchina del caffè era gratuita ma le cialde erano a pagamento al costo di 4,50 euro la cialda”.
Abbiamo fatto ritirare la macchina del caffè e comunicato il nostro disappunto, visto che non eravamo stati informati al momento della consegna.
Sicuramente questo inconveniente dimostra quanto poco attenzione viene rivolta al cliente.
La colazione servita la piano -1, composta da un piccolo buffer dolce – salato, rimasto invariato per 7 giorni, stendiamo un velo pietoso, è la prima volta che su un buffet di un hotel a 4 stelle trovo delle pesche sciroppate, della frutta vecchia, appassita e presentata in modo veramente trascurato.
Non abbiamo provato il servizio ristorante, visto che dopo le 20:00 alle 24:00 vene fornita una scelta molto limitata.
Inadeguati, insufficienti e privi di personale i servizi di completamento quali piscina, palestra, terrazza solarium.
La terrazza solarium situata al 9 piano della seconda torre ospita appena 4 lettini, la piscina poco più grande di una vasca idromassaggio, la palestra molto piccola con 5 attrezzi appena sufficiente per ospitare 2 persone.
Al check out abbiamo contestato sia l’addebito del transfert e delle cialde del caffè, dopo circa 30 minuti l’addetto al ricevimento ha ottenuto dal manager lo storno degli importi.
Buona per la posizione centrale e se si vuole respirare un’aria retrò, sicuramente la qualità prezzo non sono adeguati per i servizi presenti e per il brand “Melia”.

A causa di imprevisti problemi meccanici, l'auto ufficiale dell'hotel non è arrivata ed è stata inviata una sostitutiva. E per questo non è stato accusato. L'hotel ha coperto il costo di questo servizio.
Siamo molto dispiaciuti che non abbiate potuto gustare la nostra colazione, poiché comprende 45 prodotti diversi, la maggior parte dei quali preparati nella cucina principale dell'hotel. Generalmente non cambia poiché l'offerta è molto varia.
Per quanto riguarda le macchinette del caffè o i bollitori, sono sempre stati presenti nelle camere suite, ma ora, seguendo il vostro consiglio, li abbiamo già inseriti in tutte le camere dell'hotel.
Per quanto riguarda le nostre strutture, seguendo il concetto di boutique hotel, sono di piccole dimensioni. Sia la terrazza che la palestra e la spa fanno parte della nostra struttura boutique. Ci dispiace che questo non sia lo stile di hotel che ti piace di più.
In ogni caso, apprezziamo che tu abbia condiviso la tua opinione con noi e saremo sempre con le nostre porte aperte per riceverti e generare una nuova esperienza con il nostro grande desiderio di invertire il tuo ultimo soggiorno.

Trop moyen
Hotel, très vieillot. La climatisation fait beaucoup de bruit, le petit déjeuner en sous-sol, tout est noir. Pas convivial.
Il est 21 heures, et le ménage n’est toujours pas fait
Je n’y retournerai pas, il y a beaucoup mieux aux alentours

L'hôtel n'est pas vieux, c'est un boutique-hôtel vintage, avec beaucoup d'histoire dans son architecture. Nous sommes désolés que cela ne vous ait pas plu.
Le petit-déjeuner, bien qu'il ne bénéficie pas de lumière naturelle, dispose d'un piano live que l'on trouve dans peu d'hôtels.
Concernant le service de ménage, nous nous excusons sincèrement, puisqu'un tel retard n'est pas possible, même si l'hôtel est complet.
Nous allons travailler sur ce point pour l'améliorer.

Hôtel à éviter pour plein de raisons
Hôtel à éviter. S'il est bien situé, les chambres et les salles d'eau sont terriblement vieilles. L'endroit est mal tenu si l'on regarde de près: si a priori cela a l'air propre mais dès que l'on voit ce qui est un peu caché, cela ne l'est plus y compris, ce qui est particulièrement critiquable la cuisine que j'ai pu un peu voir faute à une porte restée ouverte. D'ailleurs le petit déjeuner est moyen mais on voit que ce n'est pas supervisé: ce matin de très bonnes prunes et juste à côté une corbeille de raisins complètement flétris.
Les chambres ne valent pas la moitié du prix demandé: comme l'a écrit un compatriote, ce n'est pas et de très très loin un 5* mais à tout casser un 3. Je confirme aussi ce qu'il a écrit sur les bouteilles d'eau, hyper choquant. Et ce n'est pas tout pour les petites bénéfices faits sur le dos des clients: comme d'habitude on m'a demandé d'enregistrer ma carte de crédit en me précisant que rien ne serait débité, ce qui était un mensonge, une cinquantaine d'euros ayant été débités. Au check out on a exigé que je paye mes suppléments de €20 la "direction refusant de les déduire" de cette somme indument débitée qui me sera, du moins c'est la promesse faite, recréditée sous une semaine ou dix jours avec certainement une perte de change pour moi. Je n'ai jamais vu ce type de procédures à la limite de l'honnêteté pratiquée où qu ce soit dan le monde. Choquant qu'une chaine comme Mélia accepte tout cela.

Notre hôtel est un hôtel de charme et les détails sont notre priorité, je suis donc très surpris d'entendre vos commentaires. Dans tous les cas, les secteurs que vous avez mentionnés seront alertés afin de vérifier de manière plus approfondie lesdits commentaires.
En ce qui concerne le montant de 50 euros retenu sur votre carte de crédit, il est d'usage non seulement chez Meliá, mais dans tous les hôtels internationaux, de prendre en garantie les cartes de crédit des clients entrant dans la propriété. Cette garantie n'est qu'un blocage temporaire et pour des raisons de temps elle ne doit pas être utilisée pour encaisser des dépenses au moment du départ, car cette gestion prend quelques minutes et généralement le départ est beaucoup plus agile si un nouveau paiement est effectué à votre carte (ce qui dans ce cas représenterait 20 euros pour vos dépenses supplémentaires). La préautorisation effectuée lors de l'enregistrement sera ensuite restituée par la banque après le départ. Il s'agit d'une procédure courante et les problèmes surviennent rarement.

Excellent sejour de 5 nuits
Pleine satisfaction
Oui c'est un peu vieillot mais le charme et l'élégance sont intacts . Situé dans un excellent quartier,l 'etablissement est bien entretenu et très bien fréquenté. , Le personnel, particulièrement les personnes à la réception, est agréable et sympathique. Les chambres ( nous avons eu la 31 puis la 62) sont bien aménagées. la literie est parfaite. Nous ne pouvons que recommander

Ottimo hotel
Sono stato in questo hotel nel mese di gennaio 2020, gentilezza del personale, ottima la pulizia. Bella la piscina con la sauna, la palestra e dove si possono fare dei magnifici massaggi rilassanti. Buona la sua ubicazione.

Hotel mit "Patina"
Zunächst wird ein derartiges Hotel nicht dort erwartet, wo das Navi des Mietwagens mich hinführt. Zunächst ist es an der Rezeption etwas "kühl", was jedoch im Laufe der nächsten Stunden in Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft umschlägt. Die Eingangslobby ist etwas beengt, öffnet sich dann jedoch nach hinten in Richtung Restaurant, wo derzeit Renovierungsarbeiten stattfinden. Man hat erkannt, dass das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist und an mehreren Stellen Hand angelegt werden muss.

Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und unerwartet groß. Das Flair ist so genial, dass man die sich etwas lösenden Tapeten und den leicht rissigen Waschtisch lediglich schmunzelnd zur Kenntnis nimmt. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, Minibar, Fernseher (brauche ich nicht!) und Safe sind vorhanden. Zunächst scheint das Badezimmer zu fehlen: Man findet aber bald heraus, dass der rechte Flügel des Spiegelschrankes die Eingangstür ist. Die Fenster sind einfach verglast, und der Straßenlärm steigt hoch bis in den 5. Stock.

Das Restaurant ist wärmstens zu empfehlen! Die Speisen sind sehr geschmackvoll serviert und ausgesprochen köstlich. Auch die Preise stimmen.

Das Frühstücksbuffet enttäuscht jedoch etwas: Bestimmte Dinge sind nur gegen Aufpreis zu erhalten; darunter ein gekochtes Frühstücksei. Die Backwaren sind leider nicht frisch, die Brötchen eher "latschig" - leider! Ansonsten findet jeder etwas für seine Frühstücksgewohnheiten.

Check-out ist ebenso unkompliziert, wie das Check-in.

Abschließend sei bemerkt, dass die Buchung eines Mietwagens eher nicht sinnvoll ist. Die augenscheinlichen Parkplätze sind keine, und die Falschparker, die sich eigentlich keiner Schuld bewusst sind, werden sehr schnell abgeschleppt - so wie mein Wagen. Man löst ihn dann wieder ein gegen die Zahlung von ca. 31 €. Das zumindest beruhigrt etwas. In Buenos Aires ist etwa jeder 5. Wagen ein Taxi. Die Preise scheinen nicht besonders hoch zu sein und sind zu empfehlen.

Fazit: Ein sehr charmantes Hotel mit Patina, das ich gerne weiterempfehlen möchte.

Ottimo Hotel !
Hotel affascinante e storico, è stata la residenza di Evita Peron, ottima posizione, camere pulite e accoglienti, frigo-bar ben fornito, il personale dell'hotel è sempre stato dispinibilissimo per dare indicazioni e consigli per i tour cittadini. La colazione è di ottima qualità, molto varia e servita nel locale utilizzato per le serate musicali di jazz.

Kleines, charmantes Hotel in zentraler Lage
Das Hotel liegt zentral in einer feineren Gegend von Buenos Aires. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und spricht durchweg fließend Englisch. Das Zimmer ist für eine Nacht von der Größe her vollkommen ausreichend. Das Bett ist groß und komfortabel. Kleiner Wehrmutstropfen, das Bad ist nicht beheizt und das kann im Winter schon unangenehm sein. Dafür findet der Europäer im Zimmer ausreichend Steckdosen, wo deutsche Stecker einwandfrei passen, auch wenn es zunächst nicht so aussieht.ein Adapter ist also nicht erforderlich. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und das Angebot vielfältig. Angenehm ist auch, dass über das Hotel ein Taxi-Service zum Flughafen zu akzeptablen Preisen angeboten wird.

Ottima soluzione a Buenos Aires
Hotel centralissimo nel quartiere di Recoleta. Situato in un palazzo storico, anche residenza di Eva Peron per due anni. Se potete chiedete di visitare la camera n.41 a lei dedicata. Camere confortevoli, buona la SPA e la piscina sulla terrazza. Colazione molto ricca. Personale alla reception efficientissimo,

Charme und Stil
Das Eva Peron hier gelebt hat ist nur ein nettes Detail, an das man aber überall erinnert wird. Die Dachterasse ist einzigartig, der Aussenbereich des Restaurants charmant. Eine äusserst bereichernde Argentinienerfahrung.

nettes kleines Hotel in Recoleta
Wir haben ein paar Nächte hier verbracht und waren ganz zufrieden. Zimmer gut klimatisiert und recht ruhig. Frühstück ebenfalls gut. Kaffee war allerdings in allen Varianten einfach nicht genießbar. Kleiner Pool mit ein paar Liegen auf dem Dach vorhanden, haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Wir möchten noch anmerken, dass sowohl ein früher checkin als auch ein späterer checkout problemlos möglich war. Vielen Dank an das Rezeptionsteam!

Bon hotel qui se fait un peu vieilot
C'est un hotel avec une certaine histoire, Evita Peron y a vecu, mais on constate que l'hotel se fait vieux. Les equipements ne sont pas des plus modernes et les chambres plutot petites. Un grand inconvenient sont les chambres qui donnent directement sur la cage d'ascenseur.

Notre maison a plus de 100 ans et essayer de garder intacte l'histoire.

Retro Hotel in sehr guter Lage
Tolles, altes Hotel in einer der besten und sichersten Lagen von Buenos Aires. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und bietet einen Top Service. Diverse Sehenswürdigkeiten sind vom Hotel fußläufig zu erreichen. Restaurants und Bars sind entweder in der Straße oder in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel. Für einen Städtetrip oder für eine Geschäftsreise uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Im Recoleta Plaza hat sogar Evita schon zwei Jahre gelebt!

Premier sejour a Buenos Aires
Bon hôtel. Parfaitement bien situe dans Buenos Aires. Proche de l'une des plus belles rues de la ville, a proximité des transports en commun. Une agence de tourisme se trouve juste en face de l'hôtel ce qui est très pratique pour choisir excursions ou visites guidées, obtenir des plans ou des informations. Quartier "safe". La plupart des sites touristiques sont accessibles a pied. Personnel très aimable.
