Mocona Virgin Lodge is a jungle lodge immersed in the Yabotí Biosphere Reserve, in the province of Misiones, steps away from the impressive Moconá Falls. This natural wonder is made up of waterfalls up to 10 meters high that interrupt the Uruguay River for about 3 km.
The 14 rooms with private decks are in the middle of the Misiones jungle, surrounded by greenery and close to the Yabotí Stream, one of the purest streams in Argentina. The wooden walkways that connect the rooms with the regional cuisine restaurant and the pool, make up a unique walk among trees, ferns and vines, which invite you to walk along contemplating the native flora and fauna of the Paraná jungle.
We offer a varied program of experiences to do in full contact with nature. Zip lining, rappelling, kayaking, bird watching, archery, hiking and stoves with stories of Guarani myths and legends, are some of the activities, both adventure and contemplation, that can be enjoyed in a unique environment.
The lodge generates its own energy with an electric generator that is in operation from 07:00 to 00:00, outside of these hours there is also assistance lighting and wi-fi in the rooms.
All rates include full board and a wide variety of experiences, subject to availability and weather conditions. They will be able to coordinate the agenda of the activities once lodged with a guide from the lodge.

Decepcionante
Estoy alojada en el hotel. Vine con mucha expectativa y no fue lo que esperaba. El costo es elevado y no se condice con el estado de mantenimiento del lugar. Se nota que fue un gran lodge en algún momento pero ahora está bastante venido a menos. La habitación es lo peor: muchísimo olor a humedad, la madera apolillada y además las polillas vuelan todo el tiempo por la pieza. Está lleno. Cerramos los bolsos para que no se metan en nuestra ropa. La verdad estoy muy decepcionada porque pagamos un costo muy elevado para lo que es el alojamiento

Excelente
Excelente lugar, la comida es buena, podría mejorar. Las cabañas están en un entorno magnífico. El personal es fantástico y ofrecen experiencias regionales muy interesantes. Dos días está bien, salvo que no acompañe el clima para ver los saltos.

Un lugar maravilloso en medio de la naturaleza
El complejo es excelente y cuidadoso de todos los detalles. Antes de mencionar los servicios quiero destacar la amabilidad, profesionalismo y buena predisposición de todo el personal, desde los trabajadores que atienden el comedor y los de limpieza, hasta los guías que encabezan las actividades. Ahora sí, respecto de la habitación, una triple, es amplia y muy cómoda, con un muy buen balcón con vista al arroyo y a la vegetación. La comida es genial, variada, de calidad y abundante, al igual que el desayuno. Todo muy bien organizado para preparar los platos que los huéspedes van a comer y sin desperdiciar. Aunque por la temperatura no usamos la pileta, es una muy buena zona de descanso, con reposeras y hamacas paraguayas. También es excelente la organización de las actividades, como la tirolesa, el rappel, el kayak y las caminatas, acompañados por guías muy profesionales que explican todo y no dejan ningún detalle al azar. El fogón con historias guaraníes es imperdible. Realmente nuestra estadía de cuatro días fue maravillosa, sin nada que reprochar. Ojalá volvamos. Vale la pena.

No dejen de ir
Lugar maravilloso, excelente atención y los guías Franco y Miguel transmiten el amor por su tierra. Las leyendas guaraníes en el fogón de la noche es una experiencia única. Pasamos unos días hermosos y de yapa los Saltos del Moconá un espectáculo increíble.
