Hôtel restaurant à éviter
Interdit de passer la porte du restaurant en bermudas le soir, c'est la règle. La direction devrait être aussi exigeante avec le cuisinier qu'avec les clients. Quand on a de telles règles, les repas doivent être à la hauteur. Déplorable. La nourriture est infecte et insipide. Pour une île qu'on nous présente comme luxuriante en fruits et légumes on ne nous présente que des pommes de terre immangeables et des fruits en boîte. Sans parler de la viande, du poisson et des gâteaux .
Meme avis.... de la meme chambre......mais avec plaisir a commenter - Merci pour votre avis qui n'est en rien constructif et surtout, rédigé en toute mauvaise foi. Uniquement parce que vous ne voulez pas respecter les règles. Malheureusement, vous le savez, comme nous le savons bien, la qualité de nos aliments n’est pas ce que vous dites de mauvaise foi. De plus, et pour être très franc, il n’est pas vrai que nous ne proposons que des pommes de terre. Tous les jours (comme vous l'avez sûrement remarqué), des fruits et légumes frais sont livrés à l'hôtel (cela est également dû à la capacité de stockage, mais surtout à la fraîcheur et à la qualité de ces articles). Enfin, de la part de tous les membres du groupe, il est triste que vous soyez le seul à faire des commentaires frustrés, d'autre part simplement parce que vous n'avez pas respecté les règles de l'hôtel (pas seulement le dress code le soir afin d'être comme tous les invités se prenet, approprié). Personnel adorable et disponible et l'emplacement correcte. Pour tout le reste, cet hôtel ne mérite pas du tout un 4*. La propreté laisse à désirer, les tasses sales ne sont ni remplacées ni enlevés. Le balcon n'est pas dépoussièré. Une latte cassé au sol entre la sdb et la chambre. 2 petits ascenceurs souvent avec la queue devant (j'en ai eu fait les 10 étages à pieds à 2 reprises en 1 semaine.
Merci pour votre avis et nous comprenons que, avec tous les autres clients de votre groupe, vos commentaires sont faits uniquement de mauvaise foi sans rien de constructif. hotel a fuir
nous avons été très déçu par cet hotel .Nous pensions avoir une chambre avec vue sur la mer au lieu de ça .
chambre vieillotte sombre donnant sur des immeubles à coté d'un escalier qui cachait la montagne ,très bruyant car donnant sur un route à circulation trés intense jusqu'à tard le soir, un bruit de grincement permanent jour et nuit au point que nous sommes allés acheter les bouchons oreilles anti bruit.
nous souhaitions avoir une chambre avec un seul lit nous en avons une avec 2 lits séparés .nous avons demandé a changer de chambre réponse négative sous prétexte que l'hotel était complet.
ménage fait à la va vite ,la chambre n'a pas été faite la veille de notre départ donc nous nous sommes essuyés avec les serviettes que nous avions mis au sol puis ce qu'elles n'avaient pas été changées.
quant au restaurant ambiance militaire pantalon obligatoire pour les hommes le soir si non nous étions refusé à l'entrée ,nous devions nous assoir a une table bien précise ,impossible de manger dehors faute de personnel disponible ,personnel tout juste aimable,
fruits frais seulement le matin , pas de plats régionaux proposés nourriture basique avec riz ,pates ,viandes et poisson durs mal préparé ;midi et soir fruits en boites et toujours les memes gateaux.

Comment un directeur incompetent detruit un hotel...
Le nouveau Directeur ne cherche pas la satisfaction des clients, a fuir
Nous sommes un groupe de 50, les buffets ne sont pas recharches rapidement, il faut attendre qu ils remettent des bols ou des tasses. La cuisine n est pas varié. Et surtout prenez un pantalon car l accès a la salle de restaurant vous est refusé .
2 ascenseurs seulement pour 11 étages a desservir
Neanmoins, le personnel fait de son mieux, ils sont tres gentils et serviables
Mais un management nul, ne peut pas reussir ds l entreprise

Merci pour votre avis très attendu, bien sûr, facile à identifier vu l'impolitesse et les commentaires pas du tout vrais lors de votre séjour concernant vos points, impliquant non seulement la plupart de notre personnel ainsi que votre agence de voyages.
Comme premier point très important, nouveau manager ? Notre manager est là depuis plus de 2 ans... alors...
Deuxièmement et pour résumer vos commentaires de mauvaise foi, votre seul problème concernait le code vestimentaire du restaurant. C'est triste vos plaintes et surtout la façon dont vous l'avez fait envers notre équipe et avec le manque de vérité concernant le fait d'avoir reçu l'information, déjà dans votre pays de départ, votre réunion locale et toutes les informations disponibles et bien sûr... d'avoir été attiré par votre agence concernant votre attitude. Mais... plus malheureusement et triste, c'est avoir des plaintes d'autres clients concernant votre mauvaise attitude. OU:
- Pensez-vous qu'il est normal de bloquer l'entrée du restaurant à tous les invités qui souhaitent aller dîner simplement parce que vous voulez avoir une mauvaise tenue vestimentaire ?
- Prenez-vous le contrôle des sièges du restaurant parce que vous pensez que vous êtes la personne la plus importante au monde ?
Désolé, mais tout cela n'est pas normal et nous nous sentons gênés de votre part...

Well located great views and good breakfast
Overall a fairly good hotel. Mostly good points and few bad ones. Firstly it was the only decent hotel for the price as the hotels in Funchal now have tripled in price over the last few years so that was good. I was on the 9th floor and asked for a room change. The manager quickly changed me to another room with a bigger balcony on the 8th floor. The reception area was dated and staff slow at check in which lets the hotel needs a face-lift and let's the hotel down I think. The sea view was stunning. The room was narrow and not spacious but comfortable and clean. The sheets and towels were changed every day too. The breakfast cost €10.00 and was well worth it. A good variety. The room menu says no hot good but they do have scrambled eggs, rasher, small sausages and tomatoes. The pool was quite spacious with lots of sunbeds and a cozy bar. During Happy hour there a large beer was only €2.95. Don't forget to pick up a towel at reception though when sunbathing. Edgar and his partner do a good job by the poolside with varied exercises and try their best to motivate guests to participate which can be fun as well as healthy. The hotel steps out onto a pavement outside and is in a great location with a beautiful coffee right next door to it and a lovely sunnupromenade walk but the sea aswell as plenty of restaurants to choice from and a an Indian restaurant The Indian Palace which was lovely. So, all in all, for the reasonable price but certainly not cheap. So it's a thumbs up, bearing on mind this was March and this hotel prices increase throughout the summer months. 👍
