Hôtel restaurant à éviter
Interdit de passer la porte du restaurant en bermudas le soir, c'est la règle. La direction devrait être aussi exigeante avec le cuisinier qu'avec les clients. Quand on a de telles règles, les repas doivent être à la hauteur. Déplorable. La nourriture est infecte et insipide. Pour une île qu'on nous présente comme luxuriante en fruits et légumes on ne nous présente que des pommes de terre immangeables et des fruits en boîte. Sans parler de la viande, du poisson et des gâteaux .
Meme avis.... de la meme chambre......mais avec plaisir a commenter - Merci pour votre avis qui n'est en rien constructif et surtout, rédigé en toute mauvaise foi. Uniquement parce que vous ne voulez pas respecter les règles. Malheureusement, vous le savez, comme nous le savons bien, la qualité de nos aliments n’est pas ce que vous dites de mauvaise foi. De plus, et pour être très franc, il n’est pas vrai que nous ne proposons que des pommes de terre. Tous les jours (comme vous l'avez sûrement remarqué), des fruits et légumes frais sont livrés à l'hôtel (cela est également dû à la capacité de stockage, mais surtout à la fraîcheur et à la qualité de ces articles). Enfin, de la part de tous les membres du groupe, il est triste que vous soyez le seul à faire des commentaires frustrés, d'autre part simplement parce que vous n'avez pas respecté les règles de l'hôtel (pas seulement le dress code le soir afin d'être comme tous les invités se prenet, approprié). Personnel adorable et disponible et l'emplacement correcte. Pour tout le reste, cet hôtel ne mérite pas du tout un 4*. La propreté laisse à désirer, les tasses sales ne sont ni remplacées ni enlevés. Le balcon n'est pas dépoussièré. Une latte cassé au sol entre la sdb et la chambre. 2 petits ascenceurs souvent avec la queue devant (j'en ai eu fait les 10 étages à pieds à 2 reprises en 1 semaine.
Merci pour votre avis et nous comprenons que, avec tous les autres clients de votre groupe, vos commentaires sont faits uniquement de mauvaise foi sans rien de constructif. Malheureusement, vous n'êtes pas plus précis sur vos points et la vérité sur toutes situations pendant votre séjour, pour éviter maintenant les vraies réponses méritées.

nous avons été très déçu par cet hotel .Nous pensions avoir une chambre avec vue sur la mer au lieu de ça .
chambre vieillotte sombre donnant sur des immeubles à coté d'un escalier qui cachait la montagne ,très bruyant car donnant sur un route à circulation trés intense jusqu'à tard le soir, un bruit de grincement permanent jour et nuit au point que nous sommes allés acheter les bouchons oreilles anti bruit.
nous souhaitions avoir une chambre avec un seul lit nous en avons une avec 2 lits séparés .nous avons demandé a changer de chambre réponse négative sous prétexte que l'hotel était complet.
ménage fait à la va vite ,la chambre n'a pas été faite la veille de notre départ donc nous nous sommes essuyés avec les serviettes que nous avions mis au sol puis ce qu'elles n'avaient pas été changées.
quant au restaurant ambiance militaire pantalon obligatoire pour les hommes le soir si non nous étions refusé à l'entrée ,nous devions nous assoir a une table bien précise ,impossible de manger dehors faute de personnel disponible ,personnel tout juste aimable,
fruits frais seulement le matin , pas de plats régionaux proposés nourriture basique avec riz ,pates ,viandes et poisson durs mal préparé ;midi et soir fruits en boites et toujours les memes gateaux.
trés décevant nous n'avont pas profité correctement de notre séjour car le manque de sommeil .

1) Votre problème avec la chambre, nous ne comprenons pas votre commentaire étant donné que vous avez effectivement payé en tant que groupe, une chambre basique avec vue sur le jardin et oui, nous étions complets et nous l'avons été.
2) Conformément au règlement de l'hôtel, qui était très clair selon les informations données par votre agence, disponibles dans toutes les descriptions, aux informations données à l'hôtel à votre arrivée, il y a effectivement un dress code pour les soirées.
3) Concernant la nourriture, nous sommes désolés mais ce n'est pas du tout vrai étant donné que nous proposons chaque soir un menu à thème, alors comment la nourriture peut-elle être la même ? Comment est la cuisine mexicaine un jour, est-ce la même chose pour la cuisine asiatique le lendemain, ou espagnole le lendemain ?
4) Ce n'est pas vrai que nous n'avons pas de repas local - nous proposons un soir de la semaine un menu gastronomique complet de Madère et dont vous et votre groupe avez apprécié.
Maintenant.... en plus verité!! Bloquer la porte du restaurant pour d'autres clients ? Vous asseoir sur les tables d’autres clients ? Est-ce poli ? Et.... nous pourrions plus dire sur votre sejour!!!!....

Comment un directeur incompetent detruit un hotel...
Le nouveau Directeur ne cherche pas la satisfaction des clients, a fuir
Nous sommes un groupe de 50, les buffets ne sont pas recharches rapidement, il faut attendre qu ils remettent des bols ou des tasses. La cuisine n est pas varié. Et surtout prenez un pantalon car l accès a la salle de restaurant vous est refusé .
2 ascenseurs seulement pour 11 étages a desservir
Neanmoins, le personnel fait de son mieux, ils sont tres gentils et serviables
Mais un management nul, ne peut pas reussir ds l entreprise

C'est triste vos plaintes et surtout la façon dont vous l'avez fait envers notre équipe et avec le manque de vérité concernant le fait d'avoir reçu l'information, déjà dans votre pays de départ, votre réunion locale et toutes les informations disponibles et bien sûr... d'avoir été attiré par votre agence concernant votre attitude. Mais... plus malheureusement et triste, c'est avoir des plaintes d'autres clients concernant votre mauvaise attitude. OU:
- Pensez-vous qu'il est normal de bloquer l'entrée du restaurant à tous les invités qui souhaitent aller dîner simplement parce que vous voulez avoir une mauvaise tenue vestimentaire ?
- Prenez-vous le contrôle des sièges du restaurant parce que vous pensez que vous êtes la personne la plus importante au monde ?
Désolé, mais tout cela n'est pas normal et nous nous sentons gênés de votre part...
Vos propos ne sont pas du tout constructifs et sont faits en toute mauvaise foi.

Well located great views and good breakfast
Overall a fairly good hotel. Mostly good points and few bad ones. Firstly it was the only decent hotel for the price as the hotels in Funchal now have tripled in price over the last few years so that was good. I was on the 9th floor and asked for a room change. The manager quickly changed me to another room with a bigger balcony on the 8th floor. The reception area was dated and staff slow at check in which lets the hotel needs a face-lift and let's the hotel down I think. The sea view was stunning. The room was narrow and not spacious but comfortable and clean. The sheets and towels were changed every day too. The breakfast cost €10.00 and was well worth it. A good variety. The room menu says no hot good but they do have scrambled eggs, rasher, small sausages and tomatoes. The pool was quite spacious with lots of sunbeds and a cozy bar. During Happy hour there a large beer was only €2.95. Don't forget to pick up a towel at reception though when sunbathing. Edgar and his partner do a good job by the poolside with varied exercises and try their best to motivate guests to participate which can be fun as well as healthy. The hotel steps out onto a pavement outside and is in a great location with a beautiful coffee right next door to it and a lovely sunnupromenade walk but the sea aswell as plenty of restaurants to choice from and a an Indian restaurant The Indian Palace which was lovely. So, all in all, for the reasonable price but certainly not cheap. So it's a thumbs up, bearing on mind this was March and this hotel prices increase throughout the summer months. 👍

Great hotel
The hotel is in a great location. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The breakfast is really good. The hotel is very clean and spacious. The pool is great and the exercise, dance instructors are great too they encourage you to get involved but don't put you under any pressure if you prefer not to join in.

Très bon rapport qualité prix
Le personnel est très agréable et très serviable et l'établissement est très propre. Possibilité de prendre des bus (n°1 et n°2) pour se rendre au centre ville de Funchal. Pour cela prendre les escaliers situés dans le hall jusqu'à la piscine extérieure de l'hôtel puis descendre (vers la gauche) jusqu'à la route. Prendre ensuite sur la gauche. L'arrêt de bus se trouve un peu plus loin à quelques minutes de marche de l'autre côté de la route. Aux abords de l'hôtel on trouve également de nombreux petits restaurants que nous n'avons pas testé car nous étions en demi-pension à l'hôtel. Etant en séjour "rando" le midi nous prenions un pique-nique. Contrairement à certains commentaires, nous avons trouvé la nourriture servie au buffet de l'hôtel plutôt correcte (de type buffet international) mais il est vrai qu'il ne faut pas arriver après 20h00 sinon les plats les plus convoités se retrouvent vides. Le petit-déjeuner était très bien. Il est vrai que cela ne correspond pas à un quatre étoiles aux normes françaises mais il s'agit là de normes locales. Le même séjour dans un établissement de cette catégorie en France couterait sans doute deux fois plus cher. Dans tous les cas nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour. Pas de regrets.

Great location
Great value for money hotel. Service was great. I think everyone in Madeira is friendly and helpful.
Cannot fault the hotel for how much we paid. Parking is a bit of a problem even off peak. but im sure there is paid parking close by.
Location is great . Close to the Pingo Doce supermarket . And some nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Try mad market a few doors away . The food was excellent.

Excellent friendly hotel
Our second visit to this hotel, and again we were not disappointed. We were welcomed back by the staff like long lost friends and we were looked after throughout our stay. Lovely sea view room and so nice to wake to the sunrise and see the sun set. We really enjoyed the half board option and the ‘themed’ dinners, each evening, were excellent. Always plenty of choice and plenty of food available, even when busy. Restaurant staff equally as greeting and always friendly and helpful. We were lucky to be in Funchal for the Carnival, and the restaurant opened an hour earlier to ensure we could all get back into town and have our dinner, which was really thoughtful of them. We opted not to hire a car this time, given the excellent hotel location for both walking into town, to Formosa beach as well as the little harbour in Camara de Lobos. The latter using the road, the tunnel down on the sea level or the Levada Piornais, accessible from the road above the hotel. Although, the walk way from Formosa beach is closed at the moment for repairs. A lovely friendly hotel that we would recommend and we will certainly be continuously returning to.

Gutes Hotel
Nettes Personal, sehr zuvorkommend. Entertainment war sehr gut und vielseitiges Programm für die Gäste. Herausragend war das Dart Turnier mit Edgar Rosmery. Sonst gute Lage um alles auf der Insel zu besichtigen. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

Great Hotel 🏨
Just had a fantastic stay, we got upgraded to a sea view on 10th floor, the room was immaculate and pool area great, Daily room service, lovely comfy bed, will certainly return. Thank you 😊, had a few walks, went into centre of Funchal for a cable car ride which had amazing views

Licht und Schatten
Das Hotel liegt sehr schön etwas erhöht sodass man von vielen Plätzen im Hotel einen
tollen Blick auf das Meer hat. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Balkon mit Meerblick.
Es war zweckmäßig ausgestattet und ausreichend groß. Leider war es wie alles in diesem
Hotel schon in die Jahre gekommen. Es war leider nur befriedigend gereinigt, das Bad
hatte etwas Schimmel, was aber noch nicht so schlimm war. Das Personal bemühte sich freundlich zu sein. Mit Englisch´, Spanisch oder Französisch kommt man hier überall zurecht.
Die Speisen machen satt, passen aber nicht zu den vier Sternen.
Das Hotel ist verkehrsgünstig gelegen und verfügt über einen schönen Pool mit ausreichend Liegen.
Für Mietwagen stehen einige Parkplätze zur Verfügung.
Ohne Speisen kann man dieses Hotel gut buchen, es gibt in der näheren Umgebung viele Lokale
Wo man gut und günstig speisen kann.

Struttura vecchia, sporca a partire dalle lenzuola. Parcheggio scarsissimo. Colazione deludente e di scarsa qualitá in compagnia dei piccioni sia sulla terrazza, ma anche dentro la sala al chiuso. Per rendere il soggiorno più gradevole abbiamo pure avuto scarafaggi in camera. Che schifo! Pessima esperienza

desastre!
hemos venido mis padres y mi hermano a pasar unos días y ya empezanos mal cuando nos dan las habitaciones cada una en una punta del hotel. Continuamos con que la nuestra debía ser de 2 camas separadas y es de una sola, y aparte más zulo no puede ser, pequeña, super incomoda para 2 personas, con el balcón a una escalera de incendios, la puerta del baño no funciona y mil cosas más que podría seguir diciendo. Solicitamos que nos cambien de habitación para tener 2 camas, y el primer día nos dicen que el hotel está completo que es imposible (no he visto aún mas de 30 personas por el hotel pero vale) que lo intentemos al día siguiente. Al dia siguiente volvemos a preguntar y nos dicen que dejemos las maletas hechas que si es posible harán el cambio ellos internamente mientras estemos fuera, así hacemos y resulta que al volver lo único que han hecho meternos 2 camas donde había una lo cual hace inviable el uso de los enchufes (no hay mas en la habitación) y bastante más incómoda aún si era posible, una habitación que no está preparada para 2 camas no es cómoda!!! si venís a madeira no elijais esta opción!
No estamos muy seguros de sus comentarios... recibió lo que pagó, pero entendemos que dentro del grupo, otros tenían habitaciones mucho mejores... pero... pagaron por eso. El único punto que merece cualquier comentario sobre esta agradable revisión, que estamos agradecidos, es que, de hecho, estuvimos, estamos y estaremos durante muchas semanas completamente reservados la mayoría de los días. La única mejor satisfacción es que, de hecho, estábamos completos y nos permitieron otorgarle mejores habitaciones, como esperaba. Entendemos su frustración, pero, la próxima vez, reserve habitaciones dentro de todos los tipos de habitaciones disponibles... no puede esperar pagar lo más barato posible y obtener lo mejor posible. Esto es arrogancia hacia todos los demás que pagan, son muy felices y no tienen necesidad de venir de mala fe a hacer comentarios desagradables... gracias por su visita.

Un 4* muy normal para la zona.
Cómo reservamos tarde solo quedaba este hotel, es un 4* muy normal. Son 11 plantas y dos ascensores así que en las horas puntas son un caos. De limpieza ansa bien pero nos encontramos visita en el baño. Es anticuado, la terraza encima de la piscina tiene todos las sillas rotas. El bufé del desayuno es muy poco variado y a veces faltan cosas. Vistos otros hoteles de la zona no lo recomiendo a mismo precio y *
Gracias por su reseña y como bien dice, un hotel estándar de 4 estrellas con todos los servicios completamente funcionales y buenos y, por supuesto, con la tarifa correcta. Como bien menciona, en el área de todos los hoteles de 4 estrellas superiores, por supuesto, las tarifas también están bien ajustadas para ellos al menos al doble de las nuestras, por lo que entendemos perfectamente su elección de quedarse con nosotros... de lo contrario. como incorrectamente dices otros al mismo precio, esos serían entonces tu elección por lo que entendemos.
Pero en este caso particular, su paquete fue un acuerdo especial con el operador, con el que otros hoteles no cooperan en absoluto, especialmente por las tarifas...

Ni siquiera 2 estrellas
Para una estancia de 7 días nos facilitaron una habitación muy pequeña, más bien parecía una habitación de hostal. La habitación da a la calle y el balcón que tiene es accesible desde la calle. No quejamos y nos dijeron que no había disponibilidad de otra habitación. No hay enchufes en el baño, en la habitación muy pocos. El minibar no enfría, fallan algunas de las luces y el aparato de aire acondicionado hace ruido. El armario pequeño para guardar dos equipajes de 7 días. Desde recepción no ha existido colaboración.
Gracias por su evaluación y mientras aún se hospeda en el hotel, esto es muy triste pero seguro que de nuestra parte obtendrá, como todos los 340 invitados internos elogian, el servicio de 4 estrellas, por mucho que usted mencione 2 estrellas (que entendemos de hecho y en nuestro caso, quizás... michelin)
Sabemos, y usted sabe muy bien, que estos menos positivos y bajo su punto de vista no son ciertos.
Su único problema es la habitación: tiene lo que pagó y reservó: habitación estándar básica.
No hay nada malo con su habitación según estos comentarios sarcásticos y seguro que todas sus acciones hasta ahora no nos colocan bajo ningún tipo de presión o como sus objetivos claros, para conseguir lo que sea, que ahora no conseguirán.
Además, su agencia de viajes está 100% de acuerdo con nosotros y está decepcionada de que llegue a este nivel (por lo tanto, son plenamente conscientes según el informe que les envió nuestra gerencia y después de su queja oficial registrada)
Además, seguramente, no se harán más esfuerzos para mejorar su habitación en ningún momento durante el resto de su estadía, como lo había decidido inicialmente la gerencia. Esperamos que esto ahora sea completamente claro para usted y estamos totalmente disponibles sin cargo por cancelación si decida irse ahora e ir a otro alojamiento de su elección.
Le deseamos una estancia agradable y continua en Madeira.

Zu empfehlendes Hotel
Sehr nettes und höfliches Personal . Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet und das Buffet hat sowohl zum Frühstück als auch zum Abendessen eine genügend Auswahl. Betten waren sehr bequem. Abfluss im Bad hat leicht gerochen, war aber weniger schlimm. Sehr zu empfehlen. Immer wieder gerne .

Un hotel para no volver
Hemos estado en grupo, es un hotel de 4 estrellas pero no tiene ni tres estrellas, la limpieza muy mala, varios días nos han dejado sin toallas, las habitaciones no estaban hechas a las tres de la tarde, el bañono tenía cortina en la bañera, el grifo del lavabo muy ajustado y el bufet del restaurante muy malo, vamos que no es un hotel que recomendaria
Le agradecemos su valoración, que en realidad no se corresponde en absoluto con la verdad, ya que lo hizo de mala fe. Bueno, entendemos su frustración durante su estadía, a saber:
1) Quejas de otros clientes por la actitud grosera, arrogante y prepotente, no solo en la falta de respeto a otros clientes sino también a los empleados del hotel
2) Incumplimiento de las normas del hotel, informado de forma clara y oportuna
3) Agresión verbal y física contra empleados - delito
4) “Secuestro” de documentos oficiales, siendo por tanto delito.
Desafortunadamente, esta evaluación suya no tiene nada de constructivo, pero está hecha con una gran frustración debido a la vergüenza y la vergüenza pasada ante todos, precisamente por actitudes que, en el siglo XXI, están arraigadas (expresión utilizada exactamente por los clientes que se quejaron).

Una grata sorpresa
La verdad es que después de leer unas opiniones nada positivas sobre este hotel, nuestra experiencia ha sido muy buena. Nuestra habitación en el séptimo piso tenía vistas tanto a la montaña como al mar. Espaciosa y limpia. La cama correcta, las almohadas mejorables. El único problema es que muchos días, a las 14 la habitación no estaba hecha todavía. La recepción y el personal son muy atentos y agradables. El desayuno, comida o cena es buffet. No es muy variado pero sí correcto y cuando escasean algunos platos los reponen. Tienen piscina exterior, con hamacas y en recepción te facilitan toallas si las precisas. Muy bien situado. Hay parada de autobuses que te llevan al centro en menos de 10' y tienes muy cerca piscinas en la orilla del mar que sustituyen a las habituales playas (que no existen en Madeira). También restaurantes y pubs si quieres evitar ir al centro de Funchal (unos 40' andando). Muy satisfechos de nuestra estancia y, por nuestra parte, hotel e instalaciones recomendables sin duda, sin entrar si es un 4 estrellas o no. Eso queda a gusto del consumidor.

Si spaccia per un 4 stelle.....
Albergo con troppi difetti e varie mancanze per quello che si paga.
Non cambiano gli asciugamani anche se sono a terra. Alla reception sono spesso maleducati e non aiutano il cliente. Il pranzo al sacco fa SCHIFO. Le stanze triple hanno il lettino rumoroso ma soprattutto oltremodo scomodo. Ci sono cattivi odori negli ambienti comuni. Rumori dei grossi condizionatori che condizionano il sonno. Chiave che si smagnetizza continuamente. Pasti ripetitivi.

Hotel mit guter Lage
Gute Verkehrsanbindung(Stadtbusse), Zimmer etwas klein geraten, Sauberkeit in Ordnung, Frühstücksbuffet gut (Schinken und Käse sollten variabler sein),Abendbuffet sehr gut (immer Fisch und Fleisch, Nachspeisen auch gut)

Das Hotel haben wir nach Bewertungen im Internet, und unserem Budget ausgesucht. Die Sterne waren uns nicht so wichtig wie die Kosten. Jedoch: wenn das Zimmer und das Bad nicht jeden Tag super sauber geputzt wird, wenn nur die Badetücher und Handtücher neu gewechselt werden (was ja nicht der Umwelt nutzt) ist das eine Ansicht von Sauberkeit, wenn aber bei erstmaligem Betritt des Bades Spuren von Menschlichen Ausscheidungen (vermutlich vom Vornutzer) am Bidet noch kleben, dann ist das eine Sauerei, und dann soll die schöne Aussicht und die schön renovierten Balkone nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen.

Oltre la vista ben poco
Per lavoro abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel 3 notti ed oltre alla stupenda vista e al posto centrale non c è altro di positivo, pulizia approssimativa colazione con poca qualità e poca scelta, wifi non funzionante, insomma un hotel che non consiglio assolutamente.

lo sono stata in questo hotel a fine marzo per 5 giorni per un convegno... devo dire che l'hotel è molto grande, apparentemente sembra un po' dispersivo ma in realtà è molto comodo e ben organizzato. La colazione è davvero varia e abbondante e se il tempo è bello c'è la possibilità di fare colazione con vista oceano.... davvero stupendo!!! Unico neo: durante la notte il bar è chiuso... io ho avuto bisogno di una camomilla calda e non ho potuto averla!!! Si potrebbero procurare dei distributori elettrici, da far funzionare soltanto durante la notte, per esempio!!!

Soggiorno di Dicembre 2016
Segnalo la mia insoddisfazione per la sistemazione alberghiera fornita.

Niente da dire per quanto riguarda la posizione e la colazione, ma gli altri servizi offerti dall'hotel si sono dimostrati mediocri.

Soprattutto la pulizia non era adeguata, inoltre si è verificato il seguente inconveniente.

Al nostro arrivo la camera a noi riservata non era una tripla come da noi prenotato, ma una doppia.

Ci hanno fornito una brandina e della biancheria non pulita che abbiamo dovuto sistemarci da soli in camera. Il giorno successivo la camera è rimasta la stessa ed anche il letto aggiunto non è stato cambiato.

Infine la camera dove si poteva effettuare attività ginnica (definirla palestra è un eufemismo) era sporca e dotata di pochi attrezzi non funzionanti correttamente.
