Schimmel im Zimmer
Mein Vorgesetzter hat eine Nacht im PLAZA Premium Köln verbracht und kann es auf gar keinen Fall weiterempfehlen. Zum einen ist die Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen, zum anderen schmälert Schimmel im Zimmer einfach erheblich den Wohlfühlfaktor...

Die Aufnahmen sind kaschiert und ergeben nicht ansatzweise den etwas heruntergekommenen Eindruck des Hotels wider. Die Teppiche auf den Fluren sind stark verdreckt. (Wann wurde hier das letzte Mal gesaugt?)
Ich musste zweimal zur Rezeption, um entweder das Zimmer zu wechseln, weil die Glühbirne/Lampe defekt war, oder die Klimaanlage nicht auszuschalten. Da es auf dem Zimmer kein Telefon gibt, bleibt nur der Gang zur Rezeption...
Die Bar lädt nicht zu einem Drink ein.
Da geht man besser gleich ins Zimmer. Das ist zwar einfach aber sauber.
Fazit: für eine Nacht geht es - aber nicht mehr.

Kaltes Zimmer !!!
Als wir am 1.12.23. Nachmittags eingecheckt haben, sagte man uns an der Rezeption es sei keine Suite verfügba rund man würde uns eine Junior Suite anbieten können. Als Ausgleich würden wir das Frühstück kostenlos erhalten.
So weit so gut......
Als wir die junior Suite betraten war die Raumtemperatur bei 15 Grad Celcius und es waren nur dünne Bettlaken als Zudecke vorhanden. Ca 17.00 Uhr.
Ich meldete diesen Sachverhalt der Rezeption, die uns sagte, dass man sich darum kümmern würde.
Wir fuhren in die Stadt und kamen gegen 1.30 Uhr zurück und fanden die Suite im gleichen Zustand vor wie wir sieverlassen hatten. Zwei dünne Decken waren auf dem Bett zusammengeknüllt.
So verbrachten wir unsere erste Nacht der Städtereise komplett angezogen in einer viel zu kalten Suite.
Am nächsten Morgen gegen 9.30 ging ich zur Rezeption um den Vorgang erneut zu melden.
Antwort : Man kümmert sich...... Gegen 12.00 Uhr ein erneuerter Versuch und man sagte mir, dass die zuständige Persongerade nicht da sei, es aber zeitnah erledigt würde.
Als wir gegen 18.00 Uhr zurückkehrten immér noch das gleiche Bild: KALT, Thermometer zeigte 15 Grad.
Wir habe dann ein Standard Doppelzimmer bekommen, dass nun endlich warm war und auch vernüftige Bettdecken hatte, die wir die Nacht vorher gebraucht hätten.
Also die Fakten : Das Hotel hat es in über 24 Stunden nicht geschafft ein Zimmer von 15 Grad auf wohnliche Temeraturen zu bekommen, obwohl ich 4 Mal nachgefragt habe.
Beim neuen Zimmer flackerte das Licht im Badezimmer und der Abfuss funktionierte nicht.
Auf Beschwerde wurde bis heute nicht mal reagiert.

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!
Wir haben uns für das Hotel entschieden, da wir zu einer Veranstaltung in der Nähe wollten. Check In / Out waren schnell und unkompliziert. Das Zimmer, das wir anfangs bekommen hatten, war relativ klein (aber fein), dafür aber gut ausgestattet (Mini-Kühlschrank, Fernseher, Wasserkocher), sauber und lag auf der südlichen Seite des Hotels. Leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage im Zimmer nicht (schien aber ein bekanntes Problem zu sein), sodass es am Abend und in der Nacht aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen (30-32 Grad) unerträglich warm wurde. Als wir das Problem an der Rezeption meldeten, wurde uns sofort ein Ersatzzimmer auf der anderen Hotelseite angeboten, welches viel größer, schöner, geräumiger und vor allem kühler war.
An dieser Stelle möchte ich ein extra Lob an das ganze Rezeptionsteam aussprechen: so einen aufmerksamen, entgegenkommenden, freundlichen, hilfsbereiten Service habe ich kaum erlebt. Uns wurde wirklich jeder Wunsch erfüllt, bei der Hitze wurde uns ständig gekühltes Wasser angeboten, für jedes kleine Problem wurde sofort nach einer Lösung gesucht und geholfen. Außerdem haben wir auch viele tolle Freizeittipps für die Umgebung bekommen. Mega nett, einfach Klasse! Weiter so!
Das Gilden Restaurant direkt am Hotel ist auch Top: leckere Gerichte, nettes Personal und entspannte Stimmung.
Sollte ich in Zukunft wieder zu einem Event in der Nähe wollen, dann sehr gerne wieder bei Plaza Premium Köln.
An dieser Stelle möchte ich ein extra Lob an das ganze Rezeptionsteam aussprechen: so einen aufmerksamen, entgegenkommenden, freundlichen, hilfsbereiten Service habe ich kaum erlebt.
