Eine Pousada zum Wohlfühlen
Alles nur hervorragend: Lage, Service, Ausstattung, Sauberkeit, Essen, Schlafen, Trinken. Was mir allerdings erheblich mißfällt, ist die Forderung von Tripadvisor an dieser Stelle, 200 Zeichen zu fabrizieren!!!

For the money you pay I was waiting for more.
Stayed with my family ,it was nice, very very clean !
We ate at the restaurant nearby ( chao de minas restaurant) but weren't impressed with the food.
The breakfast it is far from what they show on pousada's web site.
No fresh white cheese, how come you go to a pousada in Minas Gerais and there is no fresh white cheese for breakfast?
We're having breakfast and one of the ladies who was working at the check in desk came like a flashing looked at us,look at the breakfast table,went inside of the kitchen, called somebody and asked one of the workers to remove some of the cakes !
Uau we really paid for a expensive room!!!!
When making reservations we asked if the room we wanted to reserve was noisy( we stayed at Adelia's Prado room)because the pousada is very close to a main road and the answer was no, but unfortunately we could listen to all traffic from our room.
So pay close attention, if you want peace and quiet do not reserve rooms that is located on the front, left side of the pousada.
The owners daughter was there on our second day, she's not all smiles, if you need something, better ask a tall young guy who works at the check in, he is very nice.
Overall it is very pretty,clean pousada but not worth what they charge for the better rooms they have.

Peaceful and quiet stay, excellent service
A great option for travelers looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Be aware that it is located in a small city about 20 km away from Ouro Preto, thus a 20-min drive must be taken into account if you plan to wine and dine in Ouro Preto.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and the facilities looked newish. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options, one of the best we saw among pousadas (guesthouses).
The best of our short stay was the kind and attentive service of Jefferson, who was on duty for the evening. He lit the fire pit so we could enjoy the evening outdoors and kept tending to the fire every 15 minutes or so, keeping us warm and comfortable.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and the facilities looked newish. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options, one of the best we saw among pousadas (guesthouses).

Highly recommended
We enjoyed our stay at this very lovely pousada: friendly staff, delicious food especially the breakfast buffet, very clean rooms. The kids adored the area with games and pool table. It is also very well situated to visit Ouro Preto and some other historic cities. Definitely recommend this place!

Very attractive Pousada
We stayed here for 2 nights and loved the appearance of the hotel. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, with freshly baked bread, cakes and pao de queijo. It is a 20 minute drive to Ouro Preto, which discouraged us from going into the town in the evening, so we ate lunch in town and had snacks and drinks at the Pousada in the evening. My only slight criticism is that when we checked out on the Sunday morning there was nobody to help us down several flights of stairs with our luggage. My husband and I are in our 70s, so we would have appreciated some assistance. However, this would not put us off returning.
